Visited this shop about six or seven years ago, and while staying in Clearwater I had to visit again. I was impressed the first time, and this second visit did not disappoint. Grabbed five cigars from the humidor, and my wife sat down at the bar and ordered a cafe con leche and a bottle of water. Got to talking to Iordani (spelling?), the owner, and he made it a great experience. Stayed for about an hour and a half, and he, and a few regulars, made it a great experience. He is very proud of his shop and loves his family. Great guy, great experience. Gifted us a couple of shots of rum, poured me a cortadito, and even a medium strength cigar. I can't recommend this place enough-will definitely return anytime I'm in the area. read more

Super friendly folks who point you in the right direction and ensure you make the right cigar selection based on your taste. They also offer cigar rolling shows for private events. The decor was fantastic and the coffee was amazing. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the two old men playing dominos who kept SLAMMING every single tile they were playing. When we play we only slam dominos if you have a good move or it is your last one. But these two old guys slammed EVERY SINGLE ONE! And this went on for the entire 60 mins we were there. Originally I was on my way to another cigar place, but considering there seems to be a cigar store every ten feet on this street, I stumbled into here thinking it was a place further down. By the time I realized it, I was already by the humidor and I didn't want to be a jerk and turn around and walk out, so figured, what the hell, grab a cigar, sit at the bar and get a drink. Decided to get one of their house brand cigars. Small but good selection. Mostly house stuff but some other name brands also. What I thought was a bar, was more of a bar top with coffee available. Guy working asked if I wanted coffee (of course) and asked if I wanted con leche and I said "sure" at that point I was open for anything. It was the best coffee of the trip. I can't get this kind of stuff where I live, but this is one of the reasons I wanted to move to Tampa, like, now. Still think about it. Great stuff. Anyway, I wanted to get another con leche, but I knew better. It was getting later in the day and I didn't want to be up all night. The cigar was good, service was friendly, and I'm hoping to make Tampa a regular visit so this place would be a regular stop also. read more

Staff and customers are friendly, a good way to enjoy a well made maduro torpedo. They have 4 rollers on site who are very skilled and happy to answer all your cigar questions. The furniture is welcoming as well. Hector made my cigar that had a very good burn taste and draw. I am certainly no aficionado but I've tried just about every brand out there and know what I like and the cigars at Nicahabana are absolutely amazing. As good as any Fuente, Patel or even Cohiba. The Maduro are rich and smooth with lots of flavor and no harshness. Love the extra touch of adding loose tobacco leaves to the bag when you buy cigars. I live I Houston so I probably won't be back for quite some time but thank goodness for online ordering. read more

Stopped by to smoke a 1926 and that is what I did. It was very early in the day, so no one was in the place. The guy helped me with my smoke, open me a tab, and the bartender made me an excellent hot Cuban coffee with milk. I sat outside out front and smoke that baby to the nub. It was a Padron cigar which arguably is one the best cigars ever. The coffee was fantastic also. Yeah I will definitely be back if I'm in the neighborhood. But I tell you this, the neighborhood has gotten sketchy. read more

This is a tough one to review, I'm giving it four stars because the cigars and coffee are both wonderful. It is after all a cigar shop. The ambience is also very cool. My reluctance is that my experience with the staff was not all that good. The lady who helped me was totally in different to me being there. This was a little irritating because no other customers or were in the shop. There was however a lady sitting at the rolling table sending messages on her phone. Nichabana was the 5th shop that I visited and it was by far the best. It felt like home. The staff was great and very accomodating. They knew their handmade products well and were able to help me select a few cigars that would match my palate. The coffee selection was great and the setting was friendly.
