Empty shelves dusty and empty. The store looked unkept, racks were messy, and the overall shopping environment felt neglected compared to other locations. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable we were made to feel almost immediately after entering the store. Within about two minutes of stepping inside, we were being followed by asset management . It was obvious and unnecessary, especially since we had just arrived and were simply looking for a few specific items we were there to purchase. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I've experienced something like this at Nordstrom. The same thing happened to me at the Westfield Culver City (Fox Hills) location after years of shopping there without any issue. As someone who has regularly spent $400 or more every visit at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, it's extremely disappointing to feel singled out and followed around the store while shopping. I just had to leave. During this visit, I also noticed other shoppers in the store (not being followed), I guess other race of people do not steal, just mines. We must be followed! I don't have to shop there. Despite what appeared to be suspicious behavior elsewhere, the focus remained on following us instead of paying attention to actual store issues or potential theft. Nordstrom employees should focus on maintaining their stores and treating all customers equally rather than making loyal customers feel targeted. We recently moved to a luxury apartment near by, but because of these experiences, I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.

They even radioed another employee to notify them as I entered. I complied without hesitation by leaving my cart outside and selecting only five items. While I was trying on clothes, my husband remained outside the fitting room and observed a Caucasian customer enter with both her shopping cart and well over five items. No employee stopped her, enforced the policy, or even acknowledged the apparent violation. My husband brought the inconsistency to an employee's attention, yet nothing was done. Policies should be enforced consistently for every customer, regardless of race or ethnicity. Selective enforcement creates the appearance of bias and profiling, which is unacceptable. As a Hispanic customer, I found this experience both disheartening and offensive. Whether intentional or not, treating customers differently based on who they are--or appear to be--erodes trust and leaves a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope Kohl's addresses this issue through better employee training and ensures that all customers are treated with fairness, consistency, and respect.

I especially love stopping by when a new holiday is around the corner. They always have fresh inventory and fun seasonal displays that make browsing feel exciting (and dangerous for my wallet lol). Huge shoutout to the employees here--they truly deserve it. Despite long lines, busy rushes, and the occasional disruptions, they stay friendly, professional, and do their best to keep everything running smoothly and safely. I've seen them handle stressful situations with patience, and it doesn't go unnoticed. It definitely gets busy, so I appreciate those rare moments when it's calm and there's no checkout line. That said, it's almost always worth it. I consistently score cute finds for my pets, kitchen goodies, and I always keep an eye out for Hello Kitty and Sanrio items! Like any Ross, it can be hit or miss some days, but more often than not, I leave with something I love at a great price. It's a big store with plenty to browse, so if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop... just don't be surprised if you walk out with more than you planned (I always do!).

One dude named Angel, you may or may not know him, he is ALWAYS first or ONE of the first 5 people waiting in line. This dude always gets cards even if he's purchased the set already. The downside on this target location is that it's limit 2 per SKU, so this dude get multiple of EVERYTHING and he's known to be reselling as well from what I've heard. Today 05/08/26, there was an issue between 2 gentleman waiting in line about spot saving, because Angel left his chair in line and was apparently gone for hours only to show up 30 minutes before the store opened. Then what appears to be a friend or family member of Angels, shows up 15 minutes before opening. Then one gentleman, I don't know what the name is, but he's big, waddled his way into line and sat down on the ghost chair that he apparently left in line the night before, he always seems to be one of the first 5 people as well. I don't know what the name of the guy was that was defending Angel but this dude reeked of weed, looked like a bum wearing a black hoodie, facial hair indeed looking all bummish, and was also saving a spot in line for his wife that showed up like 20minutes after the store opened. It's crazy that chairs for whatever reason it be, can "save your place" in line without you even having to be physically there because as a collector myself I'd be pretty mad too that the first 5 people in are buying multiple of everything while everyone else there is trying to get something as well, especially after waiting HOURS and you can't really get anything because ANGEL and his buddies are spot saving and not PHYSICALLY present in line. This store needs to ban Angel from shopping at this location and they need to change to limit down to 1 per customer because limit 2 per customer especially when it comes to Pokemon cards is wild. It's a kids card game, and we got grown folk arguing which in this case is valid, IF YOU ARE NOT WAITING IN LINE LIKE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE FIRST IN LINE AT ALL.

I think it was because the stalls are a bit shorter than I remembered, but overall this target is pretty much the same in terms of price of the items. Having two floors to shop felt like it was quite an adventure to find things. The second floor is where the toys, electronics, home and kitchen items were located. The first floor is where the food items and seasonal items and clothing are held. Starbucks is also only located on the second floor, which is right next to the mall entrance. We did use the restrooms on the first floor, which we I thought was clean, but there were actually quite a number of unsanitary toilet seat seats and it kind of smelled really bad. Overall, I would come back to this target to shop. It wasn't bad. They were plenty of staff sometimes they were hanging around asking if you need any help.

I don't feel safe, even as an American citizen, so I avoid this area and have also told others to stay away. I like the Target and the people who work here are nice but it's a crummy company between the loss of DEI, the prices skyrocketing recently, and creeps in the parking lot of the Eagle Rock mall. And by creeps I fully mean poorly trained agents kidnapping, brutalizing, and sometimes murdering people who are important to our community. Please don't allow this or we can't shop here at all anymore which is a loss for sure. It doesn't feel safe for a family to come here when poorly trained agents have guns and the authority to terrorize without reason.
