I usually just call Denise, when my day time permits & I can get a great styled cut just waiting a few minutes. Denise always takes her time & does a great cut every time I go! The shop has a low tone & a very calm & peaceful atmosphere. The results if you view my pics look similar & Denise is the artist behind all that! I love this shop! read more

Update to the original review moving from 2 stars to 3. The initial haircut was still the most horrible I have ever had (see picture). The side was so uneven and there was a giant strand of crazy long hair in the back. I did go back a few days later and a different lady blended the sides in nicely and got rid of the rat tail on the side for free. So, the end result was pretty good; although still shorter than I originally asked for but the second lady couldn't glue on more hair. Nice people and nice atmosphere but the original experience resulted in a bad haircut. Unfortunate. Probably won't go back but you never know. Too bad. read more

If you're looking for the good old fashioned barber shop experience with excellent barbers, this is the place. Jimmie (with the beard) is excellent. Love the finishing touches with a straight razor and the got towel treatment. Leave with the childhood smells of a true barber shop haircut. Two thumbs up. read more

This place is fantastic! My boyfriend has been going to Floyd's for sometime, looking for a good haircut, but it's been impossible to get a time slot for sometime. We stumbled upon this place and immediately, my boyfriend was seen. His barber was Preston, who was fantastic and super sweet. The cut was amazing, and so quick! I like the real barber shop experience. I like a good straight razor trim around the neck and ears. I have used almost all the barbers here, and all do an excellent job.I usually try to get Denise if possible. She does not rush, and haircut is always great. read more

Juan moved from Parker to setup his own shop. It's a great setup with great barbers. Make sure to come early on Saturday (they close at 3:00) Been having these guys cut me for a while... Always quality work for a fair price. You won't be disappointed read more

I love this place. Victory was very cool. In my mind there are two kinds of barber shops. The one that will empty your pockets with expensive cuts and up charges. Then there's one like these that are no nonsense get a cut and chillaxe. 20 bucks for a cut. I just need a place where I can go in and not worry about looking goofy on the way out. This is it. It is a great place to get a hair cut. Luis cut my hair and did a wonderful job. Also, I love the shaving cream they use to shave the back of the neck. It smells amazing and is very relaxing. The staff that didn't cut my hair are also very nice and like to talk with all customers. read more

I called ahead to see if this place could cut black people or African-American hair they assured me they could and reaffirmed their decision upon my arrival. When the stylists completed the cut I noticed the right side of my hairline was a bout 1/4 of an inch higher than the left. Hairlines should be horizontal with the surface fades should not have a beginning point physically seen. For $25 I expected a clean precise cut which I DID NOT receive. I would not recommend this place for any black person, for white people they do really well but black people do not go to Don Juan. read more

I am traveling here in Texas, from The Outer Banks of North Carolina and needed a good haircut since it has been about 5 months since I last had one. I came to Don Juan's based on Reviews posted and since they take walk-ins and was not disappointed. Preston cut my hair and trimmed my beard. He really took his time and is skilled at his trade. My haircut looks better than it did from haircuts back home in North Carolina and Virginia that cost twice as much. I travel to The Dallas Texas area several times a year and will just schedule to get Preston to cut my hair again when I am back in Texas.
