Really this is a barber shop. Not an up style trendy salon. Needed a fade and they hooked it up skin tight fade. Felt fresh leaving there looking good for the weekend. Barbers were cool and down to earth. Chatted it up before I got a hair cut and during my cut. Long wait? Watch tv or look at all the toys on the wall- there's alot of them. Price is decent too. We had been looking for a new barber/hairstylist for my teenage son. José was recommended by one of my son's teammates. Today I accompanied my son to his third haircut with Jose, and was blown away by his skill level, attention to detail and ability to reproduce the haircut my son wanted from a picture. He was patient and took his time to get it just right, and then showed my son how to style it at home. And most importantly, the haircut looked amazing! If your going to apologize don't lead off with "you called an hour and a half before the time you wanted an appointment". I called because I happened to have a cancellation but it's not at all ridiculous to call shops to see if they have any cancellations or are having a slow day. But it is ridiculous to not be able to say " sorry we don't have anything available at the moment." If your intent was to apologize then you would not have felt the need to include the above excuse. read more

Decided to book a week ahead for Tony, changed my date three days before the scheduled time, and within 10 minutes of that change, I rescheduled back to my original date and time. Tony texts back "ok" and "arrive on time" once I stay with my original scheduled cut. I arrive on time and he states only then 'you backed up my schedule due to that previous text and won't be able to get you until after two more people' even though he could have easily stated that same thing to me via text and before me driving up there the day of the cut. Bad communication and poor service IMO from him. Got a cut with someone else at the shop and he did pretty good for the price while only needing 20 minutes. Also, Tony is cash only. read more

Went in to David's for the first time yesterday, and without doubt I will be back. The atmosphere is really cool and laid back (love the Funko on the walls), and the service was top notch. David got me in a chair, and knocked the cut out of the park. This is the 3rd shop I visited in as many months, and this was the 1st one to give me exactly what I was looking for. Best place to get a good men's haircut! The barbers are really good and detailed! They also have great prices men's cuts are 15 and for seniors only 10 dollars! The atmosphere there is relaxed and they have movies playing while you wait in the lobby. My son gets a comb over fade with a zero and a part and they always perfect it! read more

I have been searching for an experienced cutter of hair for a number of years. The eye candy / free beer places have 20yo girls with little experience. If you found one to give you a decent cut, they moved on before you went back. I spent my Saturday Morning coffee time looking for great reviews. David's Fade Shop came up high on a couple of searches. What I've been wanting is a fade style that worked with the challenges of age. I called him and was surprised David would work me in late Saturday. After explaining what I wanted, something happened that hasn't happened in years during a hair cut, a great conversation. The end result, was great. Even fade, plenty of length left on top to prevent sun burn and a perfect beard trim. All of this for a very fair rate. Since David is younger than I am, this might be the last barber I every go to. My wife liked the results very much too. read more
