    Fajitas Del Mar (5/5)
    Ryan S.

I got the Fajitas Del Mar (5/5). For $19, this was an amazing value; it's hard to find even just shrimp fajitas for less than $20-$25 now. The mahi mahi was great and a generous portion, there was a good amount of shrimp and small scallops too, all cooked well! Everything else was also good! The service was great (4.5/5). We quickly got our food and the check, and the waiter was friendly. The interior of the restaurant is nice with standard Mexican restaurant decorations (4/5).

I really wanted to like this place because I read so many great reviews. The atmosphere was extremely loud and it was very hard to hear each other at our table of 3 in the center of the dining room. We sat for over 15 minutes before a server approached our table. She took our drink order and in another two minutes a different server came over and tried to take our order. Then we watched the two servers have a disagreement about who had our table. I wish one of them had committed, but the server who presumably won was almost never in sight the rest of the night. We all ordered margaritas and the make your own combo plate with varieties of enchiladas and tacos. At $15-$17 the quantity and quality of food was good. My friend and I both upgraded our dinners as "supreme" to get lettuce and sour cream for an extra $3, but both of them came without it and it was 10 minutes later before we could find our server to tell her. She then brought some lettuce and sour cream on a plate and never apologized or anything. The service was so poor and the atmosphere was so loud, I definitely will not make a drive to return here again.

I've been here twice with my family in the past six months, and this place is awesome! It's always pretty busy, all of the employees are super friendly, the atmosphere is lively, and the food always comes out so quickly. I've gotten enchiladas both times I've gone, but prepared different ways, and I was beyond satisfied both times. The kids portions are huge, the burritos are gigantic, and they've always got some sort of drink special going on. I love it here!

Super delicious Mexican restaurant. All their items were pretty authentic and the salsa was amazing. Came in on a Sunday for lunch and not super busy at this time.

Walked in to this restaurant for dinner and was greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was kind and courteous, checking in regularly about menu items and answered any questions. The environment was calm and welcoming even though it was pretty busy with customers. Went in to try some street tacos and added a Birria consommé. Everything was delicious, but the Birria consommé was the star of this meal! Definitely recommend ordering!

It was Cinco De Mayo and the three amigos were looking for a last second celebration spot after a grueling day of work. Don Ramon's had a 20 minute wait and it was well worth it! Our server was quick and had good recs, not to forget; he brought out chips and salsa for free. They also had live music which was a plus. The cucumber jalapeño margarita packed a punch and was delicious. The ceviche came with more shrimp and fresh avocado than we knew what to do with which was nice compared to most restaurants that give you chips with not enough shrimp. The quesadillas norteña was delicious, filled with peppers and sides of guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and pico. Overall I had a great cinco de mayo here and would go back in a heartbeat.

Our food was fantastic, the service was even better! We stopped in to share a few different things, sat at the bar rail & had a great time! Will definitely be back!

There is a parking lot connected to the restaurant. We arrived while the happy hour options were still available. I had the lime margarita and my bf had a beer. I ordered the hh quesadilla and my bf ordered the burrito california. We were surprised how quickly everything arrived. Not only was it fast, but the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this place for date night or getting together with friends.

Not-ceviche, refried beans, salsa and queso, street tacos with two salsas.

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! Great flavor and big chunks of pork that added great texture and taste. All the little side dishes were delicious. The highlights were the korean style potato salad, radish kimchi and marinated soy radishes. Yum. So delicious. All are refilled throughout the meal so enjoy as much as you want. The real hidden gem was the calamari stir fry. Great flavor, great textures. This is a must order. Overall: Is it LA or Chicago quality...no, but really good for Minnesota and very enjoyable. My boyfriend and I did visit Suzette's recently and had to leave early because I wasn't feeling well. It had nothing to do with the food just a personal health issue that, looking back, turned out to be a small blessing in disguise. Unfortunately, my sister happened to be on FaceTime during our visit, saw me getting sick, and assumed it was food poisoning. Without realizing the situation fully, she went ahead and posted a very negative review on our behalf. I was mortified when I found out because that review doesn't reflect our experience at all. To clarify: when we first arrived, I had to wait a bit only because my boyfriend was in the restroom not because of the staff. Once he was back, we were seated within minutes. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet she even complimented my hair and helped us choose from the menu, suggesting some great dishes. The restaurant itself was beautiful so charming and coquette that I even took pictures and showed my sister the lovely carnations on the table. The food was different from what we usually eat, but it was by no means bad. My boyfriend finished his entire meal, and I would've finished mine too if I hadn't started to feel unwell for unrelated reasons. Having worked in the food industry myself, it really didn't sit right with me to see such a harsh review about a place and staff who did nothing wrong. If I hadn't gotten sick, we were actually planning to order dessert! So, I want to extend my sincerest apologies to Suzette's for the confusion and for any hurtful comments that were said. Your team treated us wonderfully, and I'm truly sorry for the mix-up. I've already removed that review and wanted to thank you for being so gracious and for sharing your little piece of France with us. My boyfriend, our little one ;) and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Don't get me wrong: the lobster roll is just as terrific as the one downtown! But the service was a disappointment, and the quality of prep work leaves something to be desired. We watched two other tables, seated after we were, get waited on and receive their food before we could finally flag our waiter down to place our order. The crab cakes on the Niçoise salad were perfectly sized and delicious, but the potatoes and beans had not been adequately trimmed. Note well: if your order contains olives, some of them may have pits. I don't blame the kitchen for this -- it's always a risk with olives. There's a hefty amount of industrial plastic covering part of the kitchen. This was evident on the way to the restrooms. So perhaps they're experiencing growing pains, or equipment replacement, plus Operation Metro Surge has not been kind to the hospitality industry! I'm hopeful that things could improve. In the meanwhile, though, we're sticking with the original when we want that perfect lobster roll.
