Pros: Easy parking Walkable from many surrounding areas Fast service Free chips and salsa! Clean space Large food menu Cons: Daquiri was just ok; couldn't really taste the alcohol, but liked the flavor Pro tip: Nice place to stop in for a drink. Next time I'll come by for a meal!

Fajita Taco Salad...fresh ingredients and attractive!

While it took a while, we finally found a Mexican restaurant that has "put it all together." Yelpers, you have to give Casa Amigos a try! First, our table was well served by a friendly, knowledgeable, attentive server. Rodrigo was great from the time we entered on a Sunday afternoon, throughout the meal and until we finished our visit. I watched him take care of numerous tables and it was obvious the other guests were also well cared for. The restaurant was VERY clean. From the window ledges to the restrooms, cleanliness is an obvious priority to the owner and staff. Really nice, detailed presentation of the good sized entrées (see photos). Our Fajita Taco Salad and Chicken Fajitas arrived quickly and looking great (obviously care taken by the kitchen). Veggies were fresh. By the way, the chips and salsa provided at arrival were perfect; fresh, not too salty and tasty. Sooo...I'm obviously a fan and would be very disappointed if other Yelpers had a disappointing experience. We'll be back! I seldom give "5's" but I've no hesitation with this one.

Went there for the first time with friends! Definitely a busy place but got a booth. Pro's of the place is good portions are very generous, service was solid, Gold Margarita was good and food quality was good. Cons are the salsa is very bland, the Queso was average and very tight inside so if you have 5 people the booth is your option and it's tight. I got the flaming Fajitas and they were delicious! The burrito also was huge and packed with flavor. It's newer so they will work through the issues but hope they get salsa with flavor! I'd go back for sure based on price and main meals being very good!

    Chips and salsa are complimentary.

New Mexican restaurant in the former Scotty B's location. We were met at the door and seated immediately. Follow up with waters, chips, and salsa immediately. Then we waited for 10 minutes with no additional service. Time we typically would've enjoyed a drink as a starter. Instead we ordered everything at once. Patron margarita must've had just a small trace of tequila. Huge fishbowl size but literally no taste of alcohol. Food was served with minimal sauce. Poured salsa on enchiladas to moisten them up. Average at best experience or slightly less.

Food and service is great. Nice to find a Mexican restaurant in Minnesota that knows how to make Mexican rice correctly.

Inside is beautiful and grand with a mix of luxury and comfy. Felt really cozy inside with great energy and vibes. Service was very friendly and attentive. Order: Signature cider flight. Four different 2oz samples. All delicious with a great balance of sweet and tart. Burrata appetizer. Creamy and delicious. Exactly what you hoped for. The surprise was that it was wrapped in thin cucumber strips that added a little crunch and freshness. Shaved kumquats added that hit of sweet and sour. Bucatini tutti mare. Handmade noodles had great texture and chew. Creamy sauce was good. Mussels were fresh. I wish the shrimp were grilled instead of sauteed in the sauce, it would have added great flavor and texture. Protip: ask for Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top. It added that needed nuttiness and savory element. Braised cabbage. There were charred bits of cabbage that added great texture and flavor. The savory red sauce was delicious and was the perfect pairing. The star of the dish were the chunks of halloumi cheese that added the needed texture and salty element. Overall: This is a destination restaurant. The vibes, the service and the food make this a must visit on your Minnesota food tour.

I thought the wine flights were a little bit pricy but they had really generous pours that made it worth it for sure. Each one of the wines we tried were so tasty and I would have ordered a full glass of any of them! The goddess pizza was also absolutely incredible. The Bianca sauce was so flavorful and the crust was perfectly crispy. It was also larger than I was expecting, so we were able to share it which was really nice! Our waitress Madi was so helpful and kind and delivered excellent service! I cannot wait to come back and try out their dinner menu!!

We got seated quickly and the bar manager took care of us and was very attentive to us and my dog! The view was great and we had a nice lunch. There is patio space with sofas and chairs and a small deck with umbrella tables. We scored the table all the way at the east end. Good news, they are dog friendly!! When I questioned the hostess she said, "bring it on!" Service was very good because there were so few people there at the time but I could see how busy it got inside the restaurant after 5. At 4:00 you get the dinner menu. We had the chips and dip which it seemed everyone was having. They serve artisan pizza and we had the "Shrooms" pizza. We enjoyed both. The leftover pizza heated up perfectly 3 days later in the oven at home. Husband had the Old Shore Old Fashioned, which he said was "adequate." We are Old Fashioned snobs with The Noble Lion, Winchester and Rye and Hazelwoods winning first, second and third on our drink card. I had the Lychee Lake Martini which was sour and salty and found itself poured discreetly over the end railing. Stick to your tried and true favorites and brands. There seemed to be plenty of boat parking and we noticed many people picking up pizzas for their dinners on board. The lot was full of fancy cars when we left at 6 PM. It had gotten very busy. We'll try the inside restaurant when the weather turns cold.

If you want to come here even relatively close to peak hours, I would highly recommend a reservation. My personal favorites here include the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and the Minute Chicken. I've gotten both items multiple times and they are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and get the Dessert Flight; the portions are more than fair for the price and the Banana Cream Pie is to die for. We recently did brunch at Hazelwood for the first time. The Monkey Bread is a generous size with a crispy outside and gooey center - exactly how you would want it to be. The Smoked Gouda Hash browns are worth getting on the side with any item that doesn't already include them; they are so creamy and have a rich cheesy flavor with a nice crispy top layer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the Avocado Toast. The bacon bits, lettuce, and poached egg completely overwhelm the avocado, which is virtually nonexistent. It's served on a very small and boring piece of wheat toast.

The inside was pretty deserted apart from a few patrons sitting at the bar but overall the ambiance is nice and fresh and bright. Because I wasn't too hungry try I settle on the G.O.A.T salad with shrimp, my friend got the jerk chicken flatbread, her mom got the chicken egg rolls and we got the kid's cheese pizza for my friend's son. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and when it was brought to the table it looked good. Their choice of plates is an interesting one because the plates have specks that make you think they're dirty. The egg rolls weren't good at all and the inside wasn't fully cooked so you could take the flour in the wrap. The jerk chicken flatbread had no jerk sauce/seasoning on it. The salad was good but again the plate makes the dish appear unclean. We ended up sending the egg rolls back and they took them off our bill which was nice.

While I understand food costs and needing a pared down menu, gone were the uniquely Jamaican dishes such as the jerk bowls and the jackfruit, etc (still on the website by the way). So what I tried was a Jamaican Banh Mi. Basically, grilled chicken with some sliced vegetables in an imitation of a Vietnamese banh mi. I really enjoyed the sauce they drizzled on and their mango Cole slaw was one of the first times I actually liked a restaurant Cole slaw. Sadly, a sandwich with a thin slice of chicken breast and some Cole slaw is not worth the $19 price tag. While the service was very good, Montego Blu doesn't stand out anymore given the lack of their Caribbean options.
