Anyhow, after going back to the drawing board, I visited one of those online platforms and found several amazingly priced Ford Escapes that were just a few years old with really low miles, and so I called to speak with "Mike" who gave up all the info and encouraged us to drive further south and a bit further for an Escape. Yes, we gambled, but we're pleased that we did. In fact Mike was so kind and encouraging, no pushy sales tactic and really suggested that we drive all available Escapes because one may be a better fit than the other. It was true and we found the right one. We had such pleasant experience that if we ever want another Ford, we will drive over 200 miles here to purchase one.

Buyer Beware! I have never been treated so badly as I was…read moretreated at Don Vance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Marshfield, MO. I believe they should be charged with deceptive business practices. My son and I went to buy a new RAM truck and had problem after problem with paperwork, pricing, and then financing lied to us. They would not let me finance through my credit union even though I had a letter of approval from the credit union that I had mentioned before we even started paperwork. I finally just wrote a check to buy the truck outright. Then, they would not let us drive it off the lot and said we would have to come back days later to get it. At that point, the 30-day temp tag was only a 3-week temp tag, and they refused to give us a new one or do anything about it.

We asked where the other key is and were told that they only had one. We asked for another key and were told it wasn't negotiated. Not really what we want to hear when purchasing from afar. I'm not impressed with their lack of desire to make a customer happy. Maybe it's because they know we live so far away they will never see us again. Just buyer beware is all I have to say. They didn't show us the customer service they strive to say they do.

Bought a used car from this dealership about a month ago. Loved the car, thought my salesman, Stan,…read morewas super nice, as was Micah, who worked on the finance piece. But I've hit one road bump after another over the past few weeks of having my vehicle. It looked and drove great upon test driving it, but once I picked it up a few weeks later, a button was missing on the steering wheel that was there when I drove it the first time. The dealership thankfully ordered the missing piece and installed it for me. During the test drive, I pointed out that the seatbelt light was on when no one was in the seat. Stan said that would go away after a while-- it didn't. I called their parts department about it, and was told it was a "Nissan problem". Took it to Nissan, was assured it would be under warranty since it probably had to do with a broken sensor or something-- turns out, something was simply unplugged under the seats that led to the no-seatbelt light (they assumed someone at the OG dealership accidentally unplugged it while cleaning the car). But because there was no faulty part to cover under warranty, Nissan charged me $240+ for a diagnostic and to plug whatever back in. This week, my A/C stopped working. Took it to a car shop-- turns out there was ZERO Freon in it, most likely due to a leak. I thankfully have 16 days left under the faculty warning to fix it at Nissan, otherwise I'd be out $800 (to start with). Owed the car shop $75 and truly hope everything else is covered under warranty with Nissan. Kindof annoyed none of this was addressed before I purchased my vehicle and I keep having to pay out of pocket. I don't think I've owned the vehicle more than a month yet.

They tinted the windows on our new car. When I called for a quote they said it wouldn't take long…read moremaybe 45 minutes. I made an appointment and dropped the car off at 9. When I dropped it off they said 2 or 3 hours. At 11:30 they said 45 more minutes. I didn't get my car back until after 1pm and burned 2 hours of vacation waiting on them to finish. A realistic expectation would have been nice and I would have made different plans. Never again. I'll drive to Springfield for the next one. Update. They had to take out car seats and never told me. They only clicked outside latches so they looked buckled. Assholes. 3 of 3 seats not strapped in. If they can't do that right don't let them touch your dash or door panels.
