Don't let the Very unassuming decor fool you. The food is very tasty, fresh, and the portions are generous. I had the rice platter with chicken. It comes with hummus, a small portion of greek salad, pita, and a very generous portion of chicken over rice. The sauce over it is very good. The chicken was also cooked very well and seasoned. You know what's bigger than Jabba the Hutt? The donairs at Donair Hut! Haha okay maybe not that huge, but the donairs here are pretty massive compared to a lot of other donairs I've eaten! First off, love the menu here because they offer so many variations other than your standard donair - like Hawaiian, Asian, Californian, Arabic, Caesar and more! I always order the standard donair when I go to the new stop, so it was a Chicken Simpleton Donair for me. The Chicken was tender, flavoured well and there was plenty of protein from start to finish. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were fresh and crisp. All wrapped into pita, it was so hard to in nice bites because it was so massive! Luckily, lots of napkins because there was sauce everywhere! A little on the pricier side but that's because you're getting such a big donair! They have plenty of seating inside. Free street parking. Really yummy food!! I stopped here yesterday afternoon to grab a late lunch and asked what they would recommend...they recommended the Rice Plate! It comes with your choice of meat or falafel...I got the chicken and opted for the addition of hot sauce! It was so flavourful and quite a large portion! It came with Chicken Rice Salad Hummus Pita And yummy sauce drizzled over the chicken and rice! All this food for $11 and it was enough for left overs the next day! The Donair Hut is a total not-so-hidden gem in downtown Langley, and if you're looking for a real donair, this is definitely the place to hit! It's popular and there can be a line out the door during peak hours. It'll be a 5-7 minute wait to get your donair even without anyone in front of you, but so worth it! The place is small and chill, has a takeout vibe, food court seats and a few stools. You can always take food to go or eat it at the table outside. No matter who is working the counter, the service has always been fantastic every time I've been here. The donair selections are plentiful and all of the ones I've tried have been delicious. On my most recent visit, I decided on the Arabic Donair with Lamb. Not sure if they make their own tzatziki but it tastes a lot better than store-bought. The meat was succulent, not dry and not sliced super thin, which is how so prefer it. I don't want to feel like I'm eating deli slices in a donair, which some joints love to do. Veggies were all fresh and the wrap holds together quite well, but as with any properly portioned wrap with meat and veggies inside, it's bound to burst at some point. That's half the fun of getting it! This place is more than worth going to! The price is right, the portions are ample, and the flavour is unmatched in Langley in my opinion. THIS PLACE IS SOOO GREAT! We were welcomed with a smile upon entry and we were given the feeling VERY quickly that this guy really likes to make sure his patrons are happy. He goes out of his way to remember people. The fries are crazy flavourful! From now on I am going to toss my fries with sauce and pickles/peppers! I AM SO ANGRY THAT I HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF THIS BEFORE. I ordered the Greek lamb donair and it was delicious. It was a very generous portion size and was flavorful and full of ingredients. I did notice that they raised their prices (the Greek donair is now $9.99 before tax). All in all, though, I can see why this place is so highly rated. read more

I found this place by searching on Yelp. Ordered donair called Arabica. Which was quite tasty and I can't remember what was in it. It was great tasting wrap I should say but I felt not enough so I went to different restaurant afterwards. As tip: you must try some dishes come with rice. Those rice dishes are not list on the wall menu. You need to see them in printed menu by cashier. Owner operator I must say. Quite friendly and great customer service. This place best suit for take out as inside has only limited seating. Next I will try one of their rice dishes. read more

If you came to the restaurant pre-March 2016, you would met Matt, a very kind fellow who took a ton of pride in his work. The donairs were delicious - the epitome of fresh and flavourful and downright delightful. Your patience was certainly rewarded with each donair that came off the grill. This place is clearly a staple of Langley office workers and has had success in customer retention and developing a longstanding relationship with the community. Now, under new management, Riza has picked up where Matt left off. While the scope of the food has changed (now pushing the super mix combos with beverage as opposed to just letting you order off the menu), it is still delicious. The meat was fresh, Riza was friendly, and made an effort to "take care of you". My lamb/beef mix was tender, mixed well, exceptionally fresh, and not over-sauced. If you have any reservations about not seeing Matt around there anymore, believe me, you won't be disappointment with the new management or the new product. Their donairs are different. They mix everything together so that you get all the tastes in every bite. The wrap they use is thin and they toast it on a grill just the right amount so that you get a bit of crunch, but not have it break apart. I have tried several types on their menu and they are all really good. Can't forget to mention the bubble tea as the have a lot of variety and the are good too. The owner is friendly and knows what his regulars want ... And he has a lot of regulars. One of the best donair places in Langley City. The parking can be a pain sometimes as it is right on the one way street on Fraser Highway. There's a little parking lot across the street from the yoga place. Ambiance is clean and decent with a small wait to no wait depending on the time of day. I was skimming through the "Best of Langley" insert that came in the local paper today and caught my eye on the Donair category. As lunch rolled around my stomach felt like it was eating itself and I had a sudden craving for a Donair. I jumped on Yelp to ensure this place was legit, saw some recommendations for the Turkish and went for it. I waited about 15 minutes which was longer then I expected but the wait was well worth it. Not only was the donair incredible but I saw some bubble teas go out and thought, "why not?" As a first time bubble tea'r I wondered where have these things been all my life? Donairs 9/10 and Service 10/10 ... been going there since 09 and consistency in food and service has been the same. The owner/operator of this place is an awesome dude... he doesn't make you feel like a customer but gives you sort of a buddy-feeling. He talks to you and connects with you on simple stuff, while serving you delicious food. For many I am sure this is a "lunch-at-home" sort of feeling. If you haven't tried it and then go to this place and try it!!! Pick anything from the menu and you'll love it. Their LAMB is good too.... Donair Hut is my go to every once in awhile when I am looking for a post-workout meal which is full of meat and veg, with some additional carbs thrown in. As long as you get a donair with light sauce, and then pick your vegetables strategically you can definitely get a super healthy, delicious meal in here, and for cheap as well! The staff at this location is really friendly and doesn't seem to get annoyed with me being a little bit picky when it comes to selecting certain vegetables and asking all kinds of questions about when the veg and meats were made each time I go. This place has The Best donairs ever! My husband and I stumbled upon this place a few years back while we lived in Langley and even though we moved away we still come back. I have a special place in my heart ( and stomach ;) for the Greek donair with lamb and of course they garlic and hot sauce. The lamb is tender and the hot sauce adds an awesome kick. The owner has to be one of the friendliest people I have ever met. He is always greeting you when you enter and even brings the food to you. I am soooo addicted to this place that I asked my hubby to get me one once but it turned out they were closed :-(, the owner was finishing cleaning and still insisted my husband come in and he filled our order!!! Love their donairs. I always order the Arabic with lamb. Fresh ingredients, great size, it's all very yummy. Friends love their bubble teas but I'm hesitant since it's all powder based. Friendly staff, small restaurant. Not too much seating so sometimes you might need to take it to go. Also if they're busy it might be awhile before your order is ready. I've lived in Langley for a few years now, and have only been to Donair Hut a handful of times. The food is excellent every time. I like to keep it simple, so I usually go for the Simpleton, but the Mediterranean is great too... Pickles on a Donair... Pure genius! My only gripe about the food is that I find the wraps to be a little on the small side, even when I do add extra meat. The gentleman who runs this joint (I think he's the owner too) is a great guy. Super friendly and makes some good recommendations. The only real downside of Donair Hut is the amount of time it takes to get my food. I've always had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes, one time as long as 20 minutes. It's not that he takes a particularly long time to put the Donairs together, the place is just always busy whenever I go in. But I think that's a good sign, isn't it? So... If you've got the patience to wait 10 or 15 minutes, and want the best Donair in town, Donair Hut should be your new go to spot. However, if you're in a rush, maybe skip it. read more
