I sat there listening to the front desk calling several other patients to reschedule their appointments last-minute, which signaled total office disarray. Making matters worse, the dentist didn't even show up to the building until 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I was there for a root canal and crown consultation. After the exam, they quoted my out-of-pocket cost--after insurance--at nearly $2.500. The number felt extremely inflated, so I went to another dentist an hour later for a second opinion. Using the exact same insurance for the exact same root canal and crown, the second dentist quoted me $1,700 less than this office. It is shocking that they would try to overcharge a patient by that much. Between the blatant price-gouging and the total lack of respect for patients' time, I will never step foot in this office again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Very quickly, they started calling to cancel my appointments until eventually I came in one time and they said sorry you've missed too many appointments and we don't want to accept you anymore as a patient. They had entirely faked all the paperwork, giving me calls and then on paper making it seem like I didn't show up. They seem to be upset that they accept certain insurances and don't wanna pay out on it. Cheap and immoral.

I called back again. It has been two weeks since I called and I never called back. Ended up going back to a previous dentist who got me in right away and I will post a review on them. This review is not for their dental service, but the fact that their office staff doesn't even take the time to ask why are you calling and is there anything we can help you with. Assisted by a wonderful young lady Ayannah they numbed me up and before I knew it Ayannah was making a temporary crown right there next to me. After a few adjustments she glued the temp in place like she's been doing it for 20 years. Everyone who worked on me today was very professional and made me feel as if I was in the best hands. After today I know Dr Kawano and his awesome assistants like Ayannah and his Son Derek (who shares the practice) are at the top of their field. Crazy Bernie is now a HUGE fan of Kawano Dental!!!

I felt disappointed after every visit. My recent experience, I had a fractured tooth that required a crown. After the treatment I felt radiating pain through my gums, jaw and ear. I assumed my gums were just sore from the procedure. 4 days later the pain was so intense I couldn't sleep at night and started spiking a fever. The office was closed and there is not an on call line so I waited another couple of days and when I called in they told me the dentist wasn't in but gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I found a specialist willing to see me right away and advised me the severity of my situation. When I called to cancel my appt at Dr Larsen's office I was told I would be charged a fee and when I tried to explain, they hung up on me. I am beyond disappointed.

An hour later, I called again, and got a woman, who immediately put me on hold... For 12 minutes before my call disconnected. I called back, and left another voicemail. (Edit: I drive to them to inquire about the "Plan" I paid for. The Reception was clearly busy, so I forgave my call drop. She also clarified my plan, and answered some important questions for me. I appreciated that. I gave back 2 stars, but my score remains 3 because I had to go to the office in person.)
