i gave chance after chance and they show time and time again they're overcharging and playing with my money. they have overcharged me and my husband twice on services that should be covered by our insurances and take they're sweet time to credit the credit cards we're pretty much forced to charge. I say forced to charge because in our specific situation a free annual cleaning is covered by our insurance but they thought we needed a deep cleaning that they can over charge for and they refused to give the free annual cleaning to us because we "needed more." the first time they over charged my husband and we only found out when we called our dental insurance and they told us they overcharged and told them to correct it. when I went a year after my husband they did the same thing and now that i got a letter from them saying they overcharged charged and should only pay $100 something instead of $500 , now they're saying I only have credit of $93 ? MAKES NO SENSE WHERES MY MONEY. the x-rays they took that they claimed showed i needed more extensive cleaning was the same as they took years ago when I first went to this place and I got my free annual cleaning no problem . I came here a few years ago to get a cavity removed. They did a good job removing the tooth with the cavity but after the operation they recommended I get fillings for all my teeth. They convinced me I needed this and I wasn't sure about it. After they persuaded me to do it they drilled my healthy teeth to replace with a filling that will wear over time. This is not ok. Be careful! This place tries to rob you in different ways! I was scheduled for my second cleaning in October. They called to remind me my appointment and then told me that I had to pay $60 something. I questioned WHY because I have PPO. They told me that because my insurance only covers ONE CLEANING a year! "My insurance is PPO, that's not possible", I said. Then I called my insurance to confirm immediately for benefits of doubt, and yes, I have TWO cleanings per year, NOT one! I called back to the office and they told me that I MADE A MISTAKE. They said "it's the X-Ray that's NOT covered this time, not the cleaning". They lied after I revealed the truth. Then they said the X-Ray costs $60 something. I said I do not need another x-ray, I just need a cleaning. Then they told me "it's highly recommended by the doctor". Yes, it's recommended, not mandatory! They said "let me ask the doctor to see if it is okay", then HUNG UP ON ME! I will NEVER EVER go back to this place! Actually my husband had a very expensive with this place as well. He made an appointment for regular cleaning, then they told him he needs to do some $30-50K surgeries. My husband said he had to think about it. Then they told him "you can finance under your wife's account NOW and she can pay for it!" What? Excuse me? They tried to manipulate my husband to sign up for a financing plan without giving him the chance to discuss with me!!! Then they REFUSED to do ANY cleaning on him, claiming that they didn't have time, on the day he scheduled for a cleaning! At the end, they billed my husband a FULL bill of X-Ray, evaluations, etc, which were supposed to be cover by insurance, just because my husband was not stupid enough to be manipulated! This office staff needs to be retrained. The people get upset because you have to reschedule an appointment. Not to mention their ability to make a simple partial you have to go back 5 times for fittings only to receive them and the teeth fall out while eating scrambled eggs. Outstanding! My mom got COVID-19 and her dentures were lost while she was hospitalized and in rehab for three months. While private dentists refused or cancelled my mom's appointments between March-May of 2021, Aspen Dental staff were excellent and they replaced her dentures within a few visits! My mom was so happy to be able to eat solid food again! Thank you Aspen Dental! I was disappointed that they don't take Medical, but it was worth the self pay to get her some new teeth. :) read more

I can't praise them enough! I went there for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth extracted. They took many x-rays and even 3D scanning, they're very up-to-date with current technology. My previous dentist claimed I only had 3 wisdom teeth and insisted I didn't need them removed, despite my jaw pain. Aspen showed me my x-rays and found all 4 wisdom teeth! They were incredibly informative, they listed many treatments after extraction to help with jaw pain, receding gums, gingivitis, and overcrowding. Because of my pain, I could have all 4 wisdom teeth removed the next day without waiting for a referral to elsewhere! They're amazing with customizing a treatment plan so I was only paying for what I needed and putting extra services on-hold. They're honest about costs, no hidden fees or charges. No judgement, no side-eye, no shaming or guilting you into procedures I couldn't afford. The extraction was so quick! Dr. Sanajay was friendly, frequently checking in on my pain levels (no pain at all), and kept me informed of what was happening. I used to dread going to the dentist and would always leave bleeding and feeling worse than when I went in. Broke millennials, please go here for dental work! I am writing this in an attempt to help anyone who finds themselves in our situation. After numerous visits and decisions Aspen devised a treatment plan for my 83 year old mother. They stated ALL her remaining teeth needed to be be pulled, top and bottom, and dentures top and bottom made. On the day of the procedure, pulling all her teeth, it became clear mom couldn't tolerate the recommended procedure. We were never informed or offered an oral surgeon, rather the procedure was to be extractions under injection by the dentist. The scheduled procedure was stopped and as mom remained in the dentists chair "numbed with injections". I was taken to the desk to discuss our options. After a long computation period on the computer the office sales team stated it would be an ADDITIONAL $5,000 to see the oral surgeon that was at this site. He apparently rotates from location to location and we could rebook the procedure. In addition to this shocking development I was informed that this oral surgeon portion would NOT be covered by her DELTA DENTAL insurance. (Everything prior has been). Now the reason we came to ASPEN In the first place is they accepted her insurance and they stated they did everything IN-HOUSE. We left after considerable frustration and pain and suffering without treatment. Fast forward 3 months and after seeing a reputable dentist AND oral surgeon it has been determined that mom needs 6 teeth pulled and a treatment plan for a partial upper denture. The new dentist also discovered mom has a bone pattern in her lower jaw that will make lower dentures very painful and possibly unwearable. This was NEVER discussed at ASPEN DENTAL. My point and complaint is Aspen Dental effectively did a "bait and Switch" with a vulnerable senior who took them at their word. They also are more concerned with the bottom line and have undisclosed ways to increase profits all while touting their in-house approach. They seem to disregard patient pain and suffering, something I brought up multiple times, for the bottom line. All said and done, I am thankful we didn't proceed with this clinic and found reputable doctors that created a treatment plan that fits the patient's needs. I will say the employees at Aspen were very nice UNTIL we questioned the lack of transparency I've described. They then became silent and adopted a "take it or leave it" attitude. I needed to get my wisdom teeth extracted and was told it was urgent from my dentist however their rates were much too high so I came here. I called this place asking if I would be able to get my wisdom teeth extracted by them and that I am a new patient. The person over the phone reassured me that I not only would be able to get them extracted but that I'd be able to get them extracted THAT day. This was a huge relief as their prices were much lower and I am in pain. The person over the phone let me know I can't eat anything for 12 hours prior to the appointment time so I made sure not. After dragging a close friend with me, knowing I wouldn't be able to drive afterwards, the lady at the counter the day of my appointment let me know that the appointment was not officially set in their system but seemed to be "pending"? She let me know they'd still be able to see me however it wouldn't be until 4 hours after my appointment time. I was already super hungry and made myself wait 12 hours, I didn't want to wait 16 hours and then some from the recovery period to be able to eat again but I figured I don't really got a choice if I wanna get it done today. I said yes and she let me know that it wouldn't be the extractions for today only a general check up and if I get referred then they would set up another appointment time to get my extractions done.
