Talked to some local upholstery shops and the consensus I came away with was it would cost roughly $350 to replace a failing headliner. I had a sneaky suspicion there was another option out there...somewhere. I found good ole Will's on the interwebs and gave him a ring. He said he could replace my entire headliner, most likely in under an hour and most likely for less than half of what I was being quoted at the upholstery shops. AND, he would come to me! I Was sold. The guys showed at my place of work as scheduled, were polite, friendly and professional. and finished the entire job in well less than hour. What more can you ask for? I have no qualms about highly recommending Will's to anyone in need of a replacement headliner.

He quoted us for leather and for vinyl with leather since my seat had both. He said he could repair it for 1,000 dollars, no problem. I had a whole new seat installed in Los Angeles for under 500.00. So this price was shocking. He was very nice, so we decided to have him do the job. The night before it was due, Orlando called to say he couldn't repair it. He needed to replace the seat. It wouldn't work, and he had already taken it all apart. Then he said it would be 600.00 more. I told him this was way too much, and I wouldn't have had him do the work if he couldn't. He said 500.00 more was the lowest he could go. I told him I wasn't happy about this at all, but I needed to get my truck back. When we went to pick it up, he had done the entire seat in vinyl. No leather was used to make it match my other seat. So not only does it not match my other seat, but it is also a lower-quality material for 1600.00 for one seat! I would have rather had a matching seat! The vinyl looks ok but I would never had had him do a vinyl seat for that price. I would have gone somewhere else. Orlando is very friendly and nice, but if he gives you a price, get it all in writing; otherwise, good luck! It wasn't a good experience. I felt taken advantage of.

I contacted J and J and was instructed to bring the car back and they stated they would take a look at it. They claimed to take it to an exhaust shop and said the catalytic converter was fine and could not find any issues. The check engine light continued to come on and off. Today I had to spend $1300+ to replace the faulty converter and fix several additional engine issues. J and J may be a top-notch upholstery business. however, based on my experience, I would be extremely cautious if you are considering purchasing a used car from J and J.

One simple mistake caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. Valerie Arthurs, franchisee, left…read morethe compressor next to a $100k+ car. I sent multiple messages and called her number and it took six hours for her to reply, after letting her know I filed a police report. She usually keeps her compressor in her car, but on this day, the extension cord malfunctioned and caused smoking inside of her personal vehicle. She moved the air compressor that she was using to inject ink into the stitching on a Lexus LC 500. The tools she used to complete the job were placed too close to my vehicle which burned a hole through the custom vinyl wrap, through the clear coat and OEM paint, down to the bare metal on the passenger rock plate. After making contact with Valerie six hours later, she denied responsibility and refused to provide her business or personal insurance for the property damaged she caused. I have been forced to file a claim with my personal insurance to begin the repair work due to Valerie's negligence. I do not suggest doing business with her unless you enjoy unprofessional business behavior. Being that she's unable to provide business insurance information, I have zero confidence she has any type of coverage to help her in an instance like this.
