Did an online order for pick-up at 5:55 p.m. Arrived at drive thru 6:00 p.m. for pick up. Order had not been started. Employee said there was only two of them working. Before the fire Donatos was about the only place in Troy that I would go for pizza. The locals like others but all I can figure for them is that they like the cheap beer more than the pizza. At donatos the actual pizza taste good. They've rebuilt after the fire. They are back in business and have settled down for a little while. I need to revisit them. read more

We picked this pizza up for the kids today. It's typical uninteresting bland Pizza that Dayton is known so well for. Crust. Thin cracker crust. Donatos needs to change to the correct flour and try again. Sauce- bland. Put some spices in it and something to give it snap. Pepperoni- also bland. I'm guessing this was made by the low bidder. I got a pizza and sub from there last night. The pizza was not cooked nor were the subs. So once I finished cooking them I ate. At 3:15am this morning I was puking and ing from their food. The pizza was so undercooked the cheese wasn't even melted. So for almost $40 you can this experience also if you'd like. Never again will I go there. read more

If I could give a lower rating than a one star I would of this is the first time I've ever tried Donatos and it's was disgusting the large pizzas are small they burnt both of the pizzas I ordered and what they are calling a calzone is s sad pathetic excuse for one! Who the hell folds over a premise pizza crust fill it with dried out pepperoni and added no cheese to it where's the ricotta cheese and fresh mozzarella!???!!!!! This was absolutely the worst food I've ever had sad and pathetic is the only way I can describe this slop!!!!! So after I wrote this review I tried to contact their customer service dept and sent two emails as of today I still have not heard back from anyone and I still haven't stepped foot back into this dump! read more

Why when I order a pizza would they replace it with another pizza they burn and just put fresh cheese on top to try to cover what they messed up and send me another pizza that has a burnt layer of cheese and a little new cheese on top it's bad when a 4 year old won't eat a cheese pizza thanks Donatos staff not only did you take me for my money the you defeated the purpose of ordering delivery now I have to spend more money and buy more food read more

We ordered 2 subs and a salad from the Troy Ohio store. Told them to hold the blue cheese crumbles on the salad. Guess what? Arrived covered in them. Threw it in the trash. My steak and mushroom gravy sub had a cheap Salsbury type steak on it. Tasted more like a soybean burger than steak. With all the pizza and sub shops in town we won't be ordering from this store anytime soon. read more

As far as large chain pizza places go this is one of my favorites. Thin crust, lots of topping options. Unique sauce flavor. I do wish the crust was crispier but the overall flavor is excellent. My favorite item here though is the Big Don Italian Sub. It is awesome! Has all of the regular meats on it. Salami, Italian dressing etc but I get a spicy sausage patty added to mine that puts it over the top. Everything works together. It is delicious. Next time you see a Donatos give it a try. read more

I placed my order and the pizza that was brought to my table was nothing like I ordered, the guy that brought it knew it wasnt right but wanted to know if I would accept it. Absolutely love Donatos. This is one of my favorite pizza joints and a place that I crave. I love the fresh mozzarella pizzas like the Margherita and Pepperoni Zinger (spicy!) Ordered pizza and wings on 12/20/18. The delivery driver "did not bring change to the door" and seemed very annoyed that she had to go back across the street to get it. I asked for $12 back (handed 2 twenties). She brought back $10 and said that was all she had. Sounds strange. Also, we asked for ranch for the wings, which we did not receive.
