I had guests over and we decided to order pizza. Someone mentioned Cassano's Pizza, and since some of us had never tried it before, I decided to give them a shot. I went online to place an order for 3 large pizzas and couldn't believe my eyes when the total was over $80. Thinking maybe I was missing some specials, I called the store to ask. The only "special" I was offered was free cheesebread with the purchase of a large cheesesteak pizza. Since nobody wanted that, it didn't really help. I was curious why the pizza was 2 to 3 times more expensive than our usual pizza spot, so I Googled it. The explanation was "premium crust" and "premium toppings." Fine. I figured I'd splurge for my guests and we'd enjoy some premium pizza. Boy, were we disappointed. Because of the prices, I changed the order from large pizzas to mediums, and even then the total was close to $60. The pizzas were barely okay. They seemed overdone, the toppings were skimpy, and the taste was below average. I understand thin crust pizza, but for those prices I expected something impressive. What really shocked me was that after 3 medium pizzas for a group, people were still hungry. I actually had to make microwave chicken nuggets and mac and cheese afterward because the pizzas were so skimpy and unfilling. We were hoping to have leftovers... lol. Very disappointed overall, especially for the outrageous price. I would never recommend this place for pizza. Literally every other pizza spot is better pizza, and better value. read more

Called in a pick-up order and was told 20 minute lead-time. Arrived at the 20 minute mark. Paid for order and was told it would be "just a few minutes" . TWENTY FIVE minutes later I finally got my order. There was only 1 small party in the dining room, but there were 2 other people also waiting for take-out... we were all there for 25 minutes. Nobody explained why there was a delay, and no apology when I finally got my food. Very unprofessional. read more

Stopped by the store located in Troy on Experiment Farm Rd. today and literally stood there waiting for some assistance. I was told by the employee sitting in the dining room to "wait a minute" as they continued watching TV. I stood there another two minutes and then I left. I took this picture because I don't know of any employer that pays their employees to sit in the dining room watching TV. Not impressed.  Needless to say I usually love Cassanos, this time, I'm completely shocked that this is even going on in your store, not to mention she's not following mask guidelines. read more

Good pizza not as good as the Sidney location but still above most chains. Like their crust sauce and wedge to edge toppings.

Great tasting pizza! Service was good, with limited seating. We passed another Cassano's to get to this one. We will be back.

I've always loved the Cassanos taste and miss it in Columbus where I live now, but when I go to visit Mom I always have to get a pizza. I like this location because it's new, clean, and often empty. The one downside was the TV blaring fox news, which is somewhat inflammatory for a casual pizza place, the olympics would have been better-or anything else. read more

Pizza was just the way I ordered it, it was ready and hot when I picked it up. I had trouble ordering on line and had to order it by phone, which was simple. I love Dayton Style thin crust pizza. read more

Delivery was on time, However their pizza was horrible. Cheese bread sticks where alright. Nothing to write home about. Unless your a salt fanatic don't eat it. All I could taste was salt. Very very salty pizza! read more

Called and placed an order at 11:39 P.M on a Saturday night and was told an hour wait. Here it is an hour and a half later, the call center is closed, Nio number to reach the Troy store it only redirects you to the call center. Paid for it on card and wondering where our food is or if we are going to get charged for pizza we never will recieve. They have done this before and We ha to call the next day only for the manager to give a poor excuse as to why the order was never made and offered a free pizza even though we piad for it the night before and it never arrived. read more

Horrible customer service, Cheese dip was not in our order which we stressed and asked if it was in the bag when delivered, he said yes. No problem called and waited 40 min for them to bring it to us , never delivered. When I called back they told me the manger said it was in the bag . So now I am a liar! This could have been a easy fix by just bringing us the dip and not making us feel like it was our fault for their mistake . I do appreciate the 5$ credit the call center manger gave us but will most likely not use it . read more

Okay Is it just me or is my Italian sausage huge on this pizza? Honestly I think it's more like meatballs they had left over from some spaghetti dish that they just stuck on top of the pizza. We tried to place an order through the call center around 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2019 and the recording said that I was calling after hours. We then placed an order on-line and it stated our order would ready in 25 minutes. I went into Cassano's and no one was at the register. There were other people in the seating area that were complaining about waiting for their orders not being ready. One of Cassano's customers said that when she came in to pick up her order that only one person was working and that her order was not even placed in the oven until she arrived. When I spoke to a worker there she just said she was having a really bad day. The lady at the register was working with the other two employees that I saw in the kitchen area. When the male employee came out to the seating area to give one of the waiting customer's her order, I smelled him before I saw him. I am sensitive about posting things like this but the management of Cassano's need to address this immediately. Then to top it all off, when I went to check the box to make sure that I was receiving the correct order, one of the pizza slices fell on the dirty counter and the employee picked it up and put it back in the pizza box! Needless to say, we will not be eating any pizzas at this Cassano's again! read more

At lunch rush time on the weekend(with only two other parties of customers here; one already had food), I see only one person working. They were in the kitchen and made us wait 8 minutes before we could even order. Then the food wait was even more stupid. We waited around 45 more mins and the food still wasn't ready. We ended up seeing one more person, but they were a driver and left promptly. The food wasn't even worth the wait. It wasn't bad, but not enough to justify a 2 star rating in this review. read more

This is by far the best pizza in Troy. I've always had a great experience here and I eat here about once a week or so. However, the last time I went here I went with a friend and we had two separate orders. His order came out and I told him to start eating because logically I figured mine would follow soon after. I waited another half hour watching everyone else who ordered after me get served. I had to go up and ask them to put my pizza in a box to go because my friend was done eating and he had to get going. I waited an hour and fifteen minutes for a pepperoni pizza. I would rate this place five stars had they not let me down in such a way. read more

My wife and I took the kids here at the new restaurant in Troy, and man, that sweet sauce I was used to went bye bye. Kinda salty and very disappointing. The acoustics of this place really suck, and with everyone talking and the super large flat screen tv blaring. I won't return for another pizza..... sad. read more

Called in an order and was told that is would be ready in 35 minutes. Traveled 20+ minutes only to find out that 40 minutes after our call the pizzas were still not even made let alone in the oven. The girl working the counter was rude and didn't offer us any sort of discount or apology. I had to call their main service center and talk to a customer service rep that did the right thing. Overall terribly managed store, rude employees, and outrageous wait times. Save time and go across the street to Marion's Pizza. read more

Everytime we come in town we stop and get Cassano's pepperoni pizza. Its a staple in our family- crispy, salty bottom and great sauce, delicious! read more

Love their pizza! They are always fast and fresh. It is very salty on the bottom though- just ask no for salt and you're good to go! Sizes are kind of a bummer though- go large for normal size. read more
