Great company - something doesn't add up with the low rating. There are 10 Reviews that fall under 'not recommended' by Yelp which all seem to be positive. I have an Aquacal that I am not happy with (sold by my pool installation company 5 years ago), that is still under warranty. Dealing with Aquacal for warranty repairs is a nightmare - their standard time to get someone dispatched for repair is 15 BUSINESS DAYS! Don't know when they'll come, they'll call you sometime in the next 15 business days to let you know they're on the way. Oh yeah - you need to put the $285 service charge on your CC in advance. Done Right is the Aquacal warranty company in my area, and they came out in 1 day, and only charged me $155. They also got the parts covered by the Aquacal warranty. Couldn't be happier with their professionalism and responsiveness. Highly recommend them. read more

Done Right Pool Heating and Air Conditioning is a division of Built Right pool heaters. They service all makes and models. One thing I know is when I call them they will have the parts to fix the pool heater and that is awesome. They service the Naples area in a most unusual way they dispatch repair trucks from the home office and basically are in the area all day. So you may call for an appointment and they will say fix it the next day. But if the technician is all caught up they will call and give same day service. I have used them only for pool heating and have had them on two occasions. They have absolutly knocked it out of the park each time. I have called for a warranty service for my Pentair Water heater and clearly indicated that the unit is under warranty. Done Right Pool Heating has sent a technician that told me that they have run the serial number and my unit is not under warranty. Done Right Pool Heating repaired and asked me to pay for a service. Later I discovered that the unit is actually under a warranty and both repair cost and part should be covered. Done Right Pool Heating provided false information and tricked me to pay for something that would be covered under warranty. I have called Done Right Pool Heating customer support to explain the situation, but Done Right Pool Heating has told me that I've never told them it is a warranty claim and refused to speak further to resolve the situation. I want to state the following facts: 1. during initial call with dispatch I have clearly said the unit is under warranty 2. I have repeated the same to technician then he showed up 3. I was told the unit is NOT under warranty and then i have must pay be aware, they would scam you into paying for something that would be otherwise covered under warranty. read more

I needed my OEM digital control panel changed on my heat pump. They claimed that a dial version of the control board was the only option. This was lie, as I ordered a replacement OEM digital control panel with no problem after the dial control panel became water logged. Their replacement lasted two weeks and they blamed me because I don't have a roof over my heat pump. I have rented many vacation homes in Florida, all with pools, and I have visited many private residences with pools. Never have I seen a heat pump under a roof. Anyway, their change to the dial control panel also required a change of the circuit board. They did not give me the OEM circuit board that they took out, so I now need a $400 circuit board to replace the one that they stole. They also charged me for two service calls, after saying that I would only have to pay one, because they didn't have everything that they needed on the first visit. So, almost $600 in equipment and service charges plus $400 to replace the circuit board that they stole. That is hands down the worst value I have ever gotten considering their "repair" only worked for two weeks. It is too late from me, but SAVE YOURSELVES! Avoid this company like the plague. read more

We had a pool heater that kinda worked when we bought the house a few years ago. We finally decided to have it checked out. Called at 9 am and was told that they would have someone there same day. We contacted this company and they set an appointment for the following day. They contacted us when they had an available technician the same day. Home in Bonita Springs, pool heater not working properly. Saw Done Right on line, called scheduled an appointment. It's an almost 20 year old Rheem heat pump. Was hoping for the best but planning for the worst. Christian showed up promptly, diagnosed problem quickly, had water pressure valve on truck ($90). Christian was professional, knowledgeable and an all around nice guy. Based on my interaction with Done Right, from first call to completed repair, appears to be a very well run business. Hired them through my local pool company to fix my pool heater. After they attempted a repair, the unit never worked and I reported it to my pool company the same day. A week later a tech came out to look at the issue. while I was away from the home I got a call from their tech who came out to work on the issue with no service window or advance notice provided. He seemed upset that no one was home. The technician was belligerent from the beginning of the call and "suspected user error" even though my pool company made a subsequent service call and was unable to get the unit running after working on it for an additional 30 minutes. The unit has never functioned since the so called "repair" and the company was slow to schedule a return call so they could come out and chastise me for their shoddy work. This is a terrible and disrespectful company who blames customers for their poor work and claims to be the victim when they upset customers with their awful service. read more

After waiting over 5 weeks for the pool heater manufacturer to send out someone to do warranty work I heard about Done Right and called them. They were out in three days, diagnosed the issue on that day on a Friday and on Monday had the new part installed. And did it under warranty!! Had them out to work on my pool heater that was not putting out warm water tech comes and says everything is fine I told him it is not outputting warm water and insists it working I tried to explain that there was something wrong and how could a pool warm up if the water coming out was not warm he could not understand they differently don't know how to work on pool heater's so do yourself a favor and call another company for heater issues. read more

So excited we found Done Right! We called another company and they wanted a service fee of $190 and labor which they charged per job and would inform us after they came out. Called Done Right their service charge of $145 would be applied to the first hour of labor and they were able to fix all three issues with our pool heater in that time and still got the warranted parts covered because they were an authorized service company. Well I saw one of the driver's driving poorly this morning "all over the road" In a newer Nissan Van. I called the office to report the driver was driving poorly and came over in to my lane more than twice on 771 then on 776 on El Joe Bean road again, he was more concerned about his cigarette then keeping the van on the road or a safe speed. When I spoke to the women and stated what I was seeing and next to the van she stated they have constant monitoring on all the vehicles and no Van in that area! I said I am next to the van and he just came in my lane again and force me off the road I again described the van and she said oh yes that one we have no tracker on. If this is how a worker is driving first thing in the morning what kind of work are they doing on your pool heater or Air conditioning system employee looked liked he had a rough night and didn't look forward to going to work. read more

Very professional, did a through analysis, and determined that the low-flow switch was failing. Replaced and heat-pump now running w/o any problems. I called them to come out to diagnose our pool heater that stopped working. The person answering the phone was very nice and they happened to have a service truck in the neighborhood and they were there in about an hour. The techs were very nice and polite and they quickly diagnosed the heater and provided an repair quote. After a few years of bandaiding our A/C which Done Right graciously accomplished, we finally bit the bullet and purchased an upgrade. Done Right was here, promptly, on the instal date and were done in abou 7 hours - removal of old unit; upgrading the plenum to accommodate the new air handler, and installation of the upgraded air handler. The new unit, as expected, excels in performance and efficiency. We have used Done RIght since moving into our home in 2017 and have always been pleased with their service. My neighbor and I have used Done Right for 15 years to service our air conditioners. It's a family-run company with an extremely high level of competence and integrity. Their employees have, without exception, been well trained, courteous, efficient, and on time. Hurricane Ian caused roof tiles to fly off a nearby roof and strike our units. Despite damage to their own properties, they stayed on the job and came out to troubleshoot within 2 days of our call. I needed a new unit, and their explanation why was no-pressure and easy to understand. Although CJ (son of the owner) was able to make a quick repair to my unit, there was noticeable vibration due to the shock of impact, and we scheduled his Dad to come out the next day to have a look and confirm that a new unit was necessary. Within four days, despite supply chain issues and the press of post-hurricane service demands, CJ, his dad, and an assistant all came out to make the new install, which was completed in just over half a day, and it's running beautifully and much more efficiently, from a power consumption standpoint, than the original unit. I am extremely impressed with Done Right Pool Heating company. Even the receptionist LaDonna is so knowledgeable and friendly. I had previously been in touch with Drips N Puddles (another company), and they had diagnosed that I should replace my heat pump all together as it had gone bad. They quoted $4000+ to come repair it. After doing some research, I found Done Right Pool Heating company. I liked the fact that they are not motivated to sell a new system because they don't sell new systems. They simply repair existing systems and if a new system is needed they put you in touch with the right group that can take care of you. Also they felt that $4000+ to replace a Heat Pump heater was way too much. They sent the technician to my home in Florida in matter of hours and quickly found that some $60 sensor had gone bad. I had been struggling to get the manufacturer of my pool heater to come and service it, they wanted payment up front to come out and when they finally did come they told me I needed a new compressor for $1500.
