Been going to them for a while. It's so nice to be able to go to mechanics I trust and who don't speak down to me.

I was having issues with my BMW X5 and was looking for a shop for an estimate. Found this business on yelp decided to give them a call. I told him the issue with my car and wanting an estimate to decide whether to repair the problem or trade my car in for a new one. When I took my car in, they did an initial inspection and gave me a detail visual of the issues and written estimate via text. Unfortunately, for my situation, the expense was more than I wanted to spend on the repair opting to trade in for another car. The service I receive from this shop was excellent and will do a good job on any repairs. I will definitely come back to this shop again for all my auto repair service. read more

My 2007 Toyota Camry is like a good spouse. Dependable and for the past 15 years, have never gave me much of a problem. But this year, a series of problems plagued the car at the same time. A friends of mine recommended me this place to get it fixed. They did a pretty good job, but they weren't perfect. Getting a good mechanic is one of those relationships that are key to life. A good mechanic will save you thousands of dollars over the life of a car if you plan to keep it for a long time. DWCAR gave me a very upfront diagnosis (with pictures) and a fair price (not the cheapest but not outrageous either). They also provide a long warranty (I think three years), that you won't get with other shops. But they aren't perfect. While the amount of time they took to repair my car was acceptable, it is not quick. It seems like nothing with these guys can be finished in a day, even if it is minor repair. Where they also fall short is in the follow through. While they are good at taking a reservation, taking your car keys and and fixing your car, they didn't do a great job was keeping you informed when your car will be ready to go. They told me a time....but the reality is that they don't seem to know. They missed the timeframe a couple of times, and it was always me calling and asking. This isn't great if you have a busy schedule and have to uber to the location (as they don't provide loaners). I need to be able to trust their schedule. I think part of it is because of the amount of work they are taking on at the same time. The other thing is that they might not be investing in a person to do followup. If business is so good, why bother spending on that expense? At the end of the day, the repair seemed to be good, although I am experiencing a rattling sound from one of the repairs. I'm less concerned about the rattling that the time it will take for these guys to fix the problem (probably a loose exhaust clamp), since they seem so busy. read more

Let's be honest, no one loves spending money on their cars. And to make things more difficult who do you trust? My husband did some research and came across Done with Care and used them for a moderate repair job. My husband has never experienced such knowledgeable staff who took so much time to explain the process and answer any questions related to our car repairs and service! We have now used them for my own car woes and again have had great experiences. We have referred them to other friends and neighbors now too! read more

I couldn't love these guys more. It's so important to have a reliable and responsive mechanic. It feels like their prices aren't the cheapest -- but that makes sense. I know I can call them with any question, concern, or issue and they'll happily talk me through it and fit my car in if needed. Had got a Snap finance to pay for mechanical repairs on my 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee called this shop to see how the program works. Well I was pleased he came and the viechle front differential was to be fixed. The shop call the next day we can not fix this it is to much rust the took pictures of my dented from fender as well as the under carriage and the a video. It also needed a transfercase as well. They wasted my time and I was crushed this was my only viechle and on disability. And the parts that had rust are replaceable. But this shop did not want to work on my car. So if you have a rusty and dented car do not go there save your time find another shop the will not work on it. I do not see how they got high recommendation and reviews when they can not even work with some imperfect cars everybody can not afford new and even new have issues read more

David and DWC have been simply awesome to work with, and their work is total quality. He has kept our cars serviced for years now without a hitch. In fact, we have a 15-year-old Range Rover with 200,000 miles on it that was alway breaking down before we started taking it to DWC. For the past several years it's been running so well I can't justify getting rid of it. David is a good man and he has a great staff that are friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. I am a bit disappointed at the slow pace being taken with my auto repair. My new rack and pinion steering on the floor in a box to stop the shop puppy going into the reception area, and mechanics being pulled off my repairs to do others repairs. New electronic ignition put in and yet the distributer cap is not new. It is now the 17th of January and my vehicle has been there since December. 27th. I understand parts needed to be ordered and the holidays were upon us, however finish timeline again being further down the road. This place is the best! I have not had any issues with them, and David will give you an honest answer. They have helped on three of my cars, and always made sure I was taken care of. I definitely appreciate that David tells me what is going on with my car so I understand where my money is going and for good reason. Unlike a lot of other places. I understand they are busy, but somehow they always answer the phone even without being rude, which is great! Easiest one of the fairest and honest auto shops in the city. Dave takes the time to explain everything and there are no hidden fees. They go out of their way for you too. The place is a mess inside. Piles and stacks of things all over inside. Very unprofessional staff. A tech said she identified the problem and would send me an email with a quote. I received the email late Tuesday evening and quickly responded stating that Friday at 2pm would be good. The person who emailed me said as soon as I let them know to go ahead they'd order the part Wednesday morning and put it on Friday and I'd be out in half an hour. It's now Friday night and I haven't heard a word from them since Tuesday. I emailed them 3 times with no reponse and called several times. The phone rang and rang. I had a bad feeling while I was there but dismissed it. Now, I'll follow my gut instinct. This guy calls himself a Christian. Maybe he should behave like one. UPDATE: Less than 30 minutes after I wrote this review I get a phone call from them. The message was from the same woman whom I'd spoken with on Tuesday. She said, "I never did hear back from you.
