Chow Fun w. Beef or 各式炒河粉

Got the Chow Fun w. Beef or 各式炒河粉 to go and it was good! Only took about 5 minutes to cook and be brought out to me piping hot. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly.

This place was pretty mixed on. First they had no small sizes for menu items other then the soups. So no small beef and broccoli, only large. Plus the prices were high, so another off put. When I went inside was so confused, I mean I thought it was antique store and clock place til I saw the counter with menus, sauces and plastic wear, to which they soup laden for soup but no actual plastic spoons? So I placed my order and honestly the counter person was pretty friendly and though with my order, but afterwards they just seem to chill. So on to the food, the sesame chicken had a lot flavor and was not bland, but was overcooked and very chewy. The sauce was good for chicken. Now seafood portion, definitely could used more shrimp and a large ones at that. Way too much broccoli. The lobster chopped up was pretty fair, felt like more of it was present then the shrimp itself. Both seafood were cooked just right, unlike the chicken, plus the white sauce was good. Also not disappointed on the white rice, it was not fresh and tasted like spent a way then longer stay in the rice cooker then needed. I guess far be it from me to expected antique dealers to pump out good food XD

After the West Point tour we decided on the Chinese restaurant across the street. The other restaurants are more for adult tastes. Mickie D's was out as well as pizza. Nothing wrong with them but.... Dong Fong (Oriental Restaurant) is typical Chinese American dining. There are more appetizers and soup selections than the usual Chinese neighborhood restaurants. The dumplings and wonton soup noodles have a thick dough shell. The hot & sour soup had an oddly sweet taste. Rather than the hot, spicy and sour flavor. It wasn't bad but not what we're used to having. The 6 of us, ranging in age from 8 to almost 70 were satisfied.

Primarily geared for takeout, but food is very good. Gluten Free options available, though not marked on menu.

Poor quality of beef, had to throw good money away. So tough, use a crock pot and get it tender then mix it with the veg. Will not return.

My former friend took me here for my birthday. I've been Vegan for over 35 years. The only thing I…read morecould eat was white rice, which I really shouldn't ever eat and cucumber salad. It was an incredibly thoughtless gift. Their food is fairly disgusting, and this has nothing to do with me being Vegan naturally, they only put out the cheapest stuff possible and once in a while, they'll put out the more expensive stuff. I remember being very grossed out by the condition of the sneeze guard and the floor and that was such a long time ago. I can't even believe I remember it! Maybe things have changed, but somehow I doubt it. Who the hell wants to pay $11 or whatever it was for an all you can eat menu of absolute son of a lumberjack food. We heard that on a commercial and could not stop laughing. Everyone else seemed fine with it, but we're picky as hell. When we find a leafy green salad with rotten leaves in it, we don't want to eat it just a little tiny things like that we're not kidding, no, we are kidding. Sorry to give the place a bad review because we want every local business to succeed. We're not even through there anymore.. What the hell takes a Vegan to such a place? If you wanted to save money, then don't take me out to lunch in the first place. Cost much friction because I ended up telling my good friend or so. I thought the truth and she got so mad. Nobody likes the truth and I don't either and I should've kept my big mouth shut, but I couldn't. I also didn't think it was a good idea for her to eat there because it was afraid she was gonna get food poisoning.

My…read moreopinions live and die by the staff, and it's with that in mind that I want to dedicate this review almost entirely to Kasey, who was our incredible server. From the moment we stepped inside Kpot, Kasey went above and beyond with service; she was so very kind and accommodating. Without prompting, she immediately created a space for me to keep my wheelchair safe and accessible without it being in the way at our table, which is always something I have to worry about myself when I go anywhere. I have dietary restrictions and she was very enthusiastic and willing to swap out the BBQ trays multiple times as needed. I never once felt like it was a bother. It was my loved one's birthday, and when we told Kasey, she completely understood the assignment. She made sure that we were having a wonderful time, was ninja-like in making sure our unused dishes were out of the way, she made wonderful, positive conversation that helped make our entire table feel welcomed + relaxed like we were old friends, and she had the most excellent timing with bringing out a surprise birthday treat at the end of our visit! I have never felt like a staff member at any place of business, no matter how wonderful they were otherwise, was as sincerely invested in making our experience unforgettable as Kasey was. at Kpot. Kpot is incredibly fortunate to have found such a warm, bright human being to work there. We went on a Saturday, and when any of us ever return in the future, we will absolutely be sure to come on Saturday again in hopes of having Kasey as our host again! The food itself was very good, and the value cannot be understated. It's a great bang-for-your-buck! Once you pay for the hotpot/bbq, you also have access to a variety of food by the sauce bar. (I specifically got some chicken wings and French fries and dipped them in the delicious chili sauce!) Every one at my table had very positive reviews of their food (which were, of course, only bolstered by their raving about Kasey! Seriously, I cannot overstate how this review is glowing because of her, haha! We all agreed that we will be coming back again, in a large part due to the service; KPot has found itself four loyal customers because of her. ) The food being brought to the table was also very timely. There were no delays and everything came right out, fresh from the kitchen. Absolutely nothing tasted bad or off. The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is pretty conducive to feeling social and open, yet perfectly private for your party. It feels like a really good spot to catch up with friends you haven't seen in a while, or to celebrate special occasions with a small group. I do also wanna mention how convenient it was to get food. They give you an iPad with names and pictures of all the food items. It is extremely easy and intuitive to use, and it's probably the best means of ordering food I've had at a buffet-style place. Very hygienic and timely! I truly cannot overstate how the excellent service made our experience as amazing as it was. The food is great and Kpot itself is, of course, quite nice, but the service elevated it into the position of being my FIRST choice when it comes to dining out with multiple people again. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here, if not for the insane value you get in terms of food, then absolutely for the excellent service -- be sure to come on a Saturday so that you're more likely to have such a wonderful, warm and professional person providing your service! Endless thanks, again, to Kasey. You made this experience what it was, and as someone who does not get to see my loved ones for occasions like this often, it means the world to me that we had such incredible service from someone that made everything feel special. I am so glad that we chose here as our birthday dinner spot.

The selection was impressive, with thinly sliced beef, pork, seafood, vegetables, noodles, and a variety of sides to customize each bite. The meats were fresh and tender, cooking quickly on the grill. The hot pot broth was rich and comforting, especially when loaded with vegetables, noodles, and your favorite proteins that you can choose from! One of the highlights was being able to switch between grilling and hot pot throughout the meal. The endless options kept things exciting, and every combination tasted different. The seafood was fresh, the vegetables crisp, and the noodles soaked up all the delicious broth flavors. (You add $5 if you want both) For drinks, I got Piña Colada and tried their bubble tea as well, Matt got Coconut mojito. (The server heard Coke and Mojito she immediately change it and apologized) The thing I don't like and could possibly improve is their appetizer, sauce and salad area. Sauce were good but apps only has few selection, like chicken nuggets, fries, etc. and looks like it has been sitting there. Nuggets were rubbery. Ambiance was okay, not that much people when we came in around 5. Place seems nice as well. But other than that it was a delicious feast from start to finish, with plenty of variety and something for everyone. Come hungry because you'll definitely leave full and happy! :)

The hibachi is quite good and fresh albeit a little overcooked on the eggs and beef. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The value for what you pay is the reason you go as well as most of the food. There is quite a lot of lobster and crab, but no lobster tail. My favorite things are the hibachi grill, the coconut chicken, the boneless spareribs and soups to name a few. There truly is something for everyone. The not so good. The sushi is very hit or miss I've had it. It's pretty good and I've had it where I wouldn't need it. It's not that it's bad. It's just lacking flavor. Most of the little dessert cakes are dry and flavorless. It can't get crowded on the weekends, but I've never had to wait for a seat. Granted it's usually just my wife and I if you have a big party you might wait on the weekend. The bad and why I took a star away on the review. Twice now, I've been there and ordered from the hibachi grill. The cook after he's done preparing your food will point at his tip jar or pick it up and shake it at you. If you don't tip him, he says something nasty to you. I'm sorry that's unacceptable. Overall, it wouldn't stop me from ever going back. Keep in mind it's an all you can eat Asian buffet. If you realize that and you're spending $23 at the time of typing this, it's well worth it.

Went twice for it! They have some vegetables if you're vegetarian and of course some sushi and sashimi too! Some seasoned fruits, different salads as well are available. More afraid of what I did not get especially the fish items. The sushi bar and the lobster as well as crawfish were screaming out " eat this and you will be in the emergency room in 20 minutes " All items were overcooked and dried out. The only food with Chinese seasoning was the Roast beef you cut yourself. You had part raw part med rare or well done. I knew it was going to be horrible because it was lime cutting a shoe to get a piece. I was right. Stuffed mushrooms 1/2 were sour 1/3 were buttery and weird. ShuMai awful. Instantly tasted rancid. I spit it in my hand and threw it out the window. Steamed pork bun had a tiny piece of pork meatball ins. It was very dry no flavor ( out the window) Kimchi loaded with sugar Eggplant loaded with sugar we'd loaded with sugar Stuffed mussels load with sugar. Everything was sweet!! Why?? I left the phone in my car if you saw the food you would understand that this place will not remain open very long. The one and only item I would ever go back here for is the Hot and Sour soup. Probably the best within 20 miles. Very authentic. Restaurant is very big very clean. Staff was very odd and unfriendly. But I'm used to that. I loved the front as it's a little marketplace with souvenirs. (0/10) Dear fellow Americans Chinese food is not sweet!!! Kimchi is not Chinese and oysters are not dry and dark ( scary)
