I have seen chiropractors, massage therapists, personal trainers and many more kinds of therapy. What David does is completely different and actually helps to build muscles from the ground up that alleviates the symptoms I have had for years. This isn't just a short term band aid, this is long term treatment. David knows what he is doing and I'm so thankful I found him. I've been working with him for the last couple of months and the TMJ/vertigo is significantly diminished, staying that way as I've continued to do the exercises he recommended for me. We've moved on to correcting other aspects my posture, as well as improving my overall fitness. David clearly understands the relationship of posture to chronic pain and how to unwind the underlying dysfunction that's the source of the pain. I've recommended him to friends and anyone with chronic pain should give him a shout.

I initially saw Dr. Lim and was impressed with his reassuring and pleasant bedside manner. When I needed more follow up treatment I was seen by Dr. Yih and was pleasantly surprised with his knowledge regarding procedures best for my condition. I had a procedure in September of 2024 at which time he said the treatment should last at least 2 months. To my surprise, it lasted well over 6 months! Since then, I have tried some PT and oral medications which have unfortunately not worked for me. Back to tried and true.

But, after my experience, I can't recommend this hospital enough! The nurses and staff were amazing and so attentive to my child and me. It was my second cesarean, and the care I received while I was there was wonderful and incomparable. I didn't get this kind of treatment with my first c-section. They helped me to the restroom when I needed it, and even helped me change my baby--simple things like that really helped me during my visit. I didn't feel neglected or stressed at all. The hospital is very clean, and even the few visitors I had commented on how kind and attentive the staff were. They even offered a free car seat and diaper bag for my baby. Overall, my hospital stay here was great! If I decide to have another baby, I would definitely deliver here again.

No hi, no can I help you, nothing she just said "I'm not her assigned nurse " I am in so much pain I asked for pain meds she said later. I asked to send in my lunch because my fever was coming down and with medicine I feel like I was able to eat. She said no I don't think you can eat or it's a nice idea to eat you need some smoothie you can have your family bring you some smoothie for you. My family lives an hour away. When my husband has some free time it's bad traffic time that it's take all the way 2hrs. Nurses don't care. I got here at 11 no Dr came to talk to me or nurse checking in on their patients THEY DO NOT CAREEE After this stay I'm absolutely not coming back.

I can not say enough good things about Dr Park or the experience in general. She started by making me feel at ease; talking me through everything slowly and clearly. During my first appointment, Dr Park actually spent almost 30 minutes (prior to the procedure) talking to me in great detail about my concerns. She really listened to me actively asking tons of questions and thinking about everything I said. I honestly can't remember the last time a doctor spent that much time listening to me! Her office is beautiful, further encouraging a heightened relaxing experience. The walls and floors are covered in cool marble and painted in calming, soothing tones. The over head lighting is non fluorescent that is always nicely dimmed. The procedure is elevated by relaxing piano music, heated beds, and foot lamps. Everything feels almost luxurious - a feeling I have definitely never experienced when receiving a medical procedure! Dr Park even has a small coffee and tea station set up to further encourage as much of a soothing experience as possible. Her office is almost spa like! I would absolutely recommend Dr Park to anyone that was looking for amazing acupuncture! She is a dream!

I've called them more than 15 times on ONE DAY, spoken with multiple answering service staffs only. ALL 15 phone calls get to the answering service 15 times. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALL at all at the office. Very hard to communicate and hard to work with them. Seriously dissapointed.

Please note this is my own experience and the intention is simply to share MY experience for you searching & for feedback for the lovely women running this business. I started going to Tsoy after my first miscarriage in February 2022. The mother (it is ran by a mother and daughter, which is so great) doing the intake form said, "if you would have come to me you would not have miscarried." She verbatim instructed me, I need to come regularly to get pregnant. Which I got pregnant prior to going to acupuncture with her. I sadly believed I had done something wrong to have a miscarriage. I came to her consistently to heal from the miscarriage. Fast forward I find out I am pregnant August 2022. I go every week to get acupuncture, I may have skipped a week but I came a lot. And in between working, getting weekly blood work due to the prior miscarriage, getting acupuncture, I was always nervous I wasn't doing something else "right". I find out I had experienced or was about to my second miscarriage in 2022. I had an acupuncture appointment the following day, and decided to call as this felt like a 911 and maybe if I did more (acupuncture) my baby and I would make it. I come out after the acupuncture and I let the mother and daughter know I'm really emotional with news I just heard. The mother then says we'll if you don't believe in it or if your husband doesn't then I can't fight him or you on this. I let her know what she told me in February still haunted me, telling me if I would have come to her then I wouldn't have miscarried. I communicated to her that doesn't land well with me as medical advice that is sound and can be proven in my specific or others cases. She then retracted her statement of what she said in February, about how she could in a nutshell saved my pregnancy. I let her know I came this 2nd pregnancy consistently and potentially (i did end up miscarrying) would miscarry so her "instructions and care" cannot guarantee anything for fact and she is not God, although she spoke that way. Her daughter then says, it sounds like you need a good mental health therapist. Which I can only assume as I don't know her intention, but it came off condescending and that my level of emotions and tears was out of place. When I had just come from my ObGYN stating they could no longer hear a heartbeat! I asked for a package still wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, and the mother says oh you have issues with money, and then states something about $20 off. I was in shock she would say that as I pay out of pocket $400 ish both months for her services. The daughter then says it's because I need herbs, she sells me herbs. In November 2022 I had surgery as my uterus shaped was affecting the baby's growth. I encourage you to listen to the way they speak and are they in service to your needs or pushing more appointments or more herbs on you? I have an acupuncturist now, she's so kind and gentle. After my surgery she kept saying be kind to your body, your body is healing right now. Through this process I learned i have the choice to say, this is NOT working for me. Pushing appointments and stating someone can save you or your baby is not sound medical advice for me.

Look at their google reviews. This place is so dirty. I've never seen them sanitize a room and the hand sanitizing stations feel like they are filled with water and a little bit of soap. Don't let their social media fool you: it is a scam. The testing is so easy that no one really fails the class, but you will likely not pass your boards unless you pay for a tutor to teach you what you should've learned during your 40k+ USD of schooling. Most students do not even go to class, but pass. They will give students the degree for showing up... It is dangerous how little the students know. The students and teachers act like they know things, but they give advice from the 1950s. They have no biomedical information. Be careful: if you have diabetes they might prescribe you a formula with honey and not understand why that is dangerous. Professor Bsha is trans/homophobic (by refusing to use pronouns and mocking students), but its a drop in the bucket. The entire atomphere of the school is racist and homophobic. You will never learn to treat patients with dignity here. . The administration always fights with eachother and their students. You would be better to go to school anywhere else. read more

I just started coming here because I have a urinary tract infection and I'm already starting to feel better. I first took the modern Western Medicine approach, I went to a hospital and was prescribed antibiotics, the infection didn't completely go away and it grew stronger again, unwilling to undergo a 2nd course of antibiotics that would further weaken my immune system and leave me more susceptible to infections of all kinds, including urinary tract infections, I decided to search for alternative methods of healing. I decided to try Eastern Medicine. I found Dongguk University and I am very pleased. Acupuncture is often dismissed by Mainstream Science in the West as ineffective and as pseudoscience, nothing can be further from the truth. I can assure you that Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine work. I definitely recommend Dongguk University. I will continue coming back to this place. read more

I have to say that previously i was a BIG FAN of Dongguk. They pretty much cured me of my carpal tunnel. YES CURED. no drugs or operations needed, just the magic of ancient healing. seriously it was insane how much they did for my life!!! BUT i went in today and had a weird experience with an obvious new student who left 2 needles in my body that I discovered as I was leaving the office!!! NOT OK DUDES!!! luckily it was no biggie but its a warning, make sure they thoroughly check your body before you leave! demand it! I would recommend the following Doctors (you end up working with a student, but the doctors oversee the work) Dr. Chen (this dude cured my yearlong carpal tunnel pain!!!) Dongguk clinic is amaaaaazing. I have had a migraine every single day for a year now and it wasn't until I visited Dongguk after utilizing western medicine to heal my migraine that I actually began to see pivotal, long lasting changes within my migraine. Every time I step into an acupuncture appointment, I feel cared for and like I am walking into a room of people who are extremely intelligent and have a ton of knowledge of how every single system is working within the body and effects the rest. They can tell I've been eating dairy and need to cease for healing just by looking at my tongue. They can tell if my spleen is weak just from filling my pulse. I have been going to this clinic for many years and I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE WONDERFUL DOCTORS THERE! Please understand that this is an University, so you must know the very first appointment will take a while as they need to learn EVERYTHING about your medical history. Holistic medicine in some cases do take a while for you to see results! Do not expect overnight miracles! BUT I have treated myself for a number of different conditions at Dongguk Royal and I give 5 stars to this hidden treasure of Los Angeles! My experience at Dongguk university has been amazing! I had a serious condition of carp tunnel syndrome in my left hand and as a musician/ drummer it was causing extreme pain and immobility to play my instrument, which is my lively hood .... After meeting Yoo Kyong Kim , my acupuncturist, and receiving my series of treatments , the pain started to decrease and the mobility in my left hand has improved significantly! I have visited Dongguk twice now and have found the staff at the clinic to be very thorough with their questions while focused on compassion and how best to treat the situation. Stephanie, Gus and Prof. Chang were all very kind and helpful. I would be interested knowing more about the content of the discussion going on with the interns when the doctor is in the room doing the instruction and procedures. It is very important to understand more about alternatives and how mind-body-spirit works together. I highly recommend the services especially the acupuncture. read more

I've been coming here often enough to notice that 10 Body Type has a bunch of regulars - meaning people see a positive difference in their health and keep coming back. This is a casual office, and you're given your own small room for care, which is complete with acupuncture needles (the number ranging depending on what you're being seen for), magnets (at the doctor's discretion), and heat lamps to improve circulation and for comfort. A lot of people think acupuncture is akin to a massage or spa place - it is not. It's a doctor's office for medical treatment! Once you're needled, you rest for about 20-45 minutes in the same position, and you're welcome to bring headphones to pass the time. Specific background for why I go to acupuncture in case it's helpful to someone in a similar boat: I've been suffering for two plus years with a vaccine injury that caused a host of heart, lung, and energy issues, including an onslaught of mass cell activation and depression. I've spent the majority of the last two years in bed and in a tremendous amount of pain. I was finally referred to a pain management specialist, and she mandated that I begin acupuncture alongside some trial prescriptions for nerve pain. My first acupuncture appointment made me feel like I just had ten cups of coffee. Energy and life and joy that had been inaccessible to me were suddenly returned. Acupuncture is vital in restoring and strengthening a body's Qi or Chi, and that's exactly what I've felt. I go to acupuncture diligently twice a week to improve my circulation and stay on course with my overall improvement of health and happiness. I skipped one appointment and I didn't have the strength to exercise! Though I do hope one day soon I won't need so many visits, twice a week is absolutely crucial for my quality of life right now. I was familiar with 10 Body Type because I used to come here years ago for frozen shoulder / calcium deposits from sports injuries and use. It definitely helped with my recovery and pain management, and sports injuries are a very common reason people go to acupuncture for the first time. 10 Body Type is located in a shopping strip with its own parking lot, or there's plenty of metered parking. I wholeheartedly recommend 10 Body Type. After a couple of sessions, I haven't felt this good, genuinely gives me tears of joy after Dr. Lim's treatments. For those that suffer from chronic pain, you'll understand. Dr Lim is also a Veteran of the R.O.K Army (Republic of Korea), a retired mechanical engineer and now a phenomenal Doctor. He is very meticulous when applying acupuncture and cupping...I believe its from him being analytical from engineering experience. I am completely impressed because he understands how the body is wired. Over the years, I've had my fair share of a dozen other acupuncturist but Dr Lim has been the best; providing top quality patient care. The office and room are clean and soothing. Dr. Lim takes his time and gets to know exactly where you are feeling pain and how painful it is and will adjust his treatment according to your tolerance. He first administers acupuncture and followed by cupping which you don't realize how tight and stiff you are until he does it. It will loosen you up! My first problem is that this place profits off of selling wellness, everything about it feels…read moredesigned to sell you more sessions, more "treatments," more add-ons, instead of actually listening and helping you heal. Another problem is the owner, Dr. Ozar, who was quite unpleasant in my few interactions. When treatments don't feel right or work, his response is always that "you're not putting in the work", and it's incredibly discouraging to hear as a patient. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility or even reassessing the treatment plan, he shifts all the blame onto me! the person who is paying him hundreds of dollars. Dr. Ozar barely spends any time with patients -15 mins max, he'll pop in, give generic feedback, suggest you spend some more money, and move on. If they're running behind (which happens often), you can be left sitting in a cold room for up to 30 minutes. Sometimes they'll put you on electrical stimulation during that wait and yes, you're billed for it - I saw it in the codes from my insurance. It feels like they'll charge for anything they can. Now to the office side of things: billing is confusing and full of surprise charges. Itemized receipts are hard to get, and follow-up questions via email are often ignored. Communication about both care and billing is slow and inconsistent, leaving you constantly chasing down information and waiting for email replies. The staff behind the desk is lovely but clearly don't know what's going on with the billing - which is sketchy. I'm posting this anonymously because I've seen how harshly this business responds to negative reviews. And what really shocked me was how rude and defensive Dr. Ozar is in response to feedback. You can see it for yourself - just look at how he replies to other negative reviews. Instead of taking criticism with professionalism, he argues with patients, accuses them of lying, and writes condescending replies that make him look petty and unkind. If you decide to go, protect yourself. Get those superbills, double-check every charge, and keep every email you get. Ask questions and don't be afraid to push back. You deserve to feel cared for, not sold to. My statements are 100% accurate and reflect my true experience. I have nothing to gain by writing a false account of my experience.

He is an expert at diagnosing the problem with a quick conversation and exam, and he is an expert at treating the pain.
