If u have had similar bad experience, u can text me anytime at 361-219-5712 I had been working with Tolley regularly since 2017, I met through an abusive ex's family. At first I was having a good experience, going to her for my chronic stomach illnesses and ptsd, but I found my physical and emotional state to be worsening between sessions, and I felt like she was the only kind of relief I had. Our conversations began to confuse and cause me to feel very bad about myself and the world. The most recent thing back in 2020 that made me decide to stop working with her, was after during a phone conversation, she told me that wearing short shorts was hurting people, and I needed to stop doing that because my legs were 'jiggling around' and I was hurting people who found it to be 'too sexual'. I have a bad stomach condition and am unable to wear thick clothing on my stomach, and my shorts are the only shorts I have for summer. It's also victim blaming to tell women to cover up more, because they are in her words 'hurting people' Tolley has told me through our phone and text conversations that she is god and she has a mission on earth to 'make it work' which would involve some situation that kills most of the population. She has told me very sexist ideologies about men and women, and has told me hurtful things about non binary and trans ppl (which I am non binary). I have all of our text conversations since 2019, if anyone wants me to show them. I will post pics below. Summer of 2019, Tolley told me an option for me was to 'take myself out of the game' of life. It very much felt like (because she had previously told me she thinks of life as a game) that she was telling me to kill myself. I had reached out to her during a hard time of my life right before. There is so much to tell, and I feel I should finally be public about this. I think she's mentally unstable in my opinion and shouldn't be practicing. If u have had good experiences with her, I'm not saying that's wrong, but I am saying that what happened to me and possibly others is very wrong.

My bill is missing a $100 payment that I have record of and my insurance says it is covered in network and the office does not care. It's been a nightmare and has caused more stress than it was worth.

During one of our sessions she told me that her and other counselors in the office have a meeting once a week to discuss how the patients are progressing. This is not patient confidentiality! Also, the billing was extremely slow and a mess. I am lucky to have two insurances that my bills are 100% covered, the office manager sent me a bill for over $800 and when asked about it the counselor took it from me and said not to worry, which I found to be unusual. After dealing with these two issues I started looking up information on the counselor and the office manager (who were in a relationship together) I find that the office manager Timothy Latsko had previously had his license suspended for having a relationship with a former patient and HIPAA violations. I am linking the license suspension to this review so others can see it. http://www.dhp.virginia.gov/Notices/Counselors/0717001186/0717001186Order03192012.pdf or https://dhp.virginiainteractive.org/Lookup/Detail/0717001186 (click on additional public information). I'm still bothered by the fact that my sessions could have been shared with people I did not know or trust. Please very weary if you use this group.

This place is supposed to help people navigate their mental health not make it worse. The constant…read morevoicemails needed to even receive a call back is absurd. Whenever I'm lucky enough to get a call back the receptionist always has a snot nose attitude as if I'm bothering her. Today was the last straw. My prescription was sent in 7/15/25 and the pharmacy requested approval 3 separate times. On Monday the receptionist told me they'll get to it when they get to it. My prescription has lapsed at this point. I gave it a day and called again today. Same thing. Finally after the 3rd voicemail it was pending. The receptionist not only calls from a blocked number but expressed her struggles as a stay at home mom while working. I asked to have a manager call me back and was greeted with a scoff and a call back immediately after by the same rude receptionist letting me know I'll receive a email basically blacklisting me. Imagine also having a toddler, running a business with employees, and working with full effects of withdrawal because your meds aren't filled. I left 6 more voicemails demanding to speak to someone in charge. They pump you full of pills, lapse your meds regularly, and couldn't care less of the effects withdrawals have on you. They don't listen on the monthly check ins to see if the pills are helping. Just a 5min video chat and another $50 withdrawn from my bank account. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE struggling with mental illnesses. DO BETTER

So I asked for help from Coastal Med & Psych. Long story short, they don't help and they don't listen to detailed voice messages. It is a case that you have to explain everything over and over to them. The nurse is even careless. I would like to remain healthy but she doesn't answer messages, return important information, or help until you pay her for a visit. The visits are overly a waste of time. I have had totally better doctors and am no longer in need of my nurse but I need her for writing my prescriptions. It is a long, drawn out hassle working with Coastal Med & Psych.
