The cake portion is not too sweet, and balanced nicely with the filling. I would highly this local business. They're the read deal. You don't need to go to Maine for great whoopie pies! You can also get them at Cat Pause, at the UVM Davis Center.

People are still raving to me about how amazing the whoopie pies were! We chose 5 different flavors for our tower: pumpkin, Irish cream, red velvet, peanut butter, and maple walnut, so that people could try multiple flavors. We were doing a fall theme, and the different shades of reds and browns fit in perfectly with our theme, and they looked awesome! We even had a giant pumpkin whoopie pie for the top of the tower, which is what we used during our cake cutting, and also what we're freezing to have on our 1 year anniversary. Time Out for Whoopie handled the delivery and setup of the whoopies, and did an amazing job making it look both beautiful and delicious! We had about 2 medium sized whoopie pies per guest, and they were GONE in about a half hour! Have you ever seen a wedding cake get completely eaten before? I know I haven't! I think that speaks volumes as to how delicious these things are! Time out for Whoopie is still a new business, so there is no storefront yet. However, you can place your order online through their website, and they will deliver to the Grand Isle/Burlington area for free! For local orders, you can get any of the flavors listed on the website. Non-local folks, don't worry! You can order your whoopie pies to be delivered right to your door step in just a few days! However, the only flavors available for mail delivery are the cream filled whoopie pies, since the cream cheese and mousse filled whoopies require refrigeration. So, anyone out there looking for a fun, unique, and DELICIOUS alternative to cake for a wedding, birthday party, shower, or even just because, look no further than Time Out for Whoopie! Going with the whoopie pie tower over a wedding cake saved me money, AND people enjoyed it so much more than just a standard cake. I'm betting we'll still be getting compliments years down the road!

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

A no laptop policy keeps things flowing and encourages folks to talk vs work. Breakfast menu is available all day while lunch starts at 11 and goes until close at 3p. We tried a few things: * croissant - super flaky and perfectly made. * breakfast sandwich - with sausage. Buttery and crispy edges toast with fried egg and melted cheese with sausage. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever. * banner eighteen - a play on cheesesteak with broccoli mushrooms and shaved steak in a sesame hogie. This one had slight spice and a slight taste reminiscent of a combination pizza. It's a big sandwich and quite tasty. * oatmeal raisin cookie - not too sweet which I loved. Chewy. * fresh baquette. Bread . . . . . * maple lemonade - slightly sweet with a good bit of tartness. It was good! I'd definitely comeback here if I'm craving some sandwiches

We tried the eat the east breakfast sandwich ($11) and the vermonter sandwich ($16). I especially liked the vermonter sandwich and the bread it came on. The cafe also sells various bread items and baked goods. One thing to note is that since the cafe is counter-serve, seating is also first come first serve. We were able to snag a seat right as someone left, but for that reason I would recommend coming at a less peak time if able. August First is deservedly a busy spot in Burlington and I would be there often if I were a local.
