I felt so much shame and guilt that I was sent to a psychiatrist ward for help until my family reached out to the most helpful and considerate man, Ken F. in admissions. He called every day to help me get into Covanent Hill's residential treatment. Thank you to Britt for doing my intake and making the process less scary. I was in residential treatment for 90 days where I met the most amazing women who helped me change my whole perspective on life and myself. I came in suicidal and with an excessive of self hatred. No one as ever taken an interest in helping me and their constant love and support has changed my life. I have forever been changed through my considerate case manager Shelby, my compassionate therapist Heather and all the staff Dena, Maddie, Blue, Jen, Jenny, Anne Marie, Whittney, grief group Cathy, Pastora Nicole, Tammy and Jillian. It cannot be put into words how these women have saved me and changed my life. I am forever grateful! Also Riley is cool and Darren is the best! Thank you Covanent Hills.

I felt no judgment on my DOC or past when I arrived. They simply talored their time and focus on how they could help pull me out of my depression and put me back on track with my sobriety. What I loved about the program is that they have on-site therapists AND case-managers that allowed for both mental and emotional help. They assisted with methods for long-term sobriety while also building emotional character. Another aspect of the program is that they offer two separate recovery tracks : Christian and traditional. However, it never felt "seperated". In fact, the group sessions that were frequently held, allowed me to form bonds with the other women that I will always hold onto. We engaged in art therapy, horse therapy, goat yoga, kayaking, paddleboarding and more! There were PLENTY of activities that allowed me to learn to enjoy sobriety in the outside world. I want to thank all the staff members who helped pull me out of a very dark place and also helped with aftercare such as sponsors and IOP treatment. CH will always be the treatment facility that I recommend to anyone who is seeking sobriety and overall mental health. Denna, Heather, Claudia, Jenny, Jen, Diana, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Lori, Andrea, Nicole, and Jennifer, I truly adore each and everyone of you ladies because you have made an astronomical impact in my world.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Hoffman as a therapist, mentor, spiritual advisor and friend for…read morenearly a decade now. We met through the recommendation of a friend of a family member. I was in a difficult and dark place at the time, and I was skeptical of everything. Dr. Hoffman and I established a rapport immediately, and over the months and years I came to consider him one of my closest acquaintances. If you're a reader and a writer, you'll find a kindred soul in Hoffman, who has written and published multiple fiction and nonfiction works. Whether you dig trashy genre fiction or pretentious experimental literary nonsense like me, or more respectable stuff, you'll find a caring and compassionate storyteller and listener who understands the way we word-people think and feel. I mention writing because some of my most helpful sessions were during the months when we collaborated on a writing project as an exercise in narrative therapy that also helped to reignite my creative passions. We fell out of touch for a little while due to my various obligations and whatnots, but now as my life is again transforming around me and I'm throwing myself into my literary work with a renewed dedication and focus, I'm looking forward to meeting with him again to help me on this new project and adventure of life. (In fact, that's how I landed on Yelp today looking for him...he may end up reading this before I call to make an appointment.) He was also instrumental in helping me through various legal, medical, employment and recovery related challenges. He's also just a great guy to talk to, with vast knowledge, colorful personal stories, a friendly attitude and a compassionate heart. If you're interested in mindfulness, meditation of any stripe, or exploring consciousness in general, a visit with Dr. Hoffman may be some of the best time you can spend investing in yourself and your loved ones (because they benefit too!) If you are a writer, artist, musician or any kind of creatively inclined person, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Dog people? Last time I checked he had an adorable Ridgeback. I'm a cat man myself, with three at home, but I always looked forward to a weekly lick from his big puppy. That's the kind of extra touch that makes a real difference. Seriously though, animal lovers will feel right at home on Dr. Hoffman's couch. I've tried every major AI chat bot, and after extensive research, decided that giving Dr Hoffman a call is the best move I can make for my mental health. I prefer books and computer screens to most people, but even I gotta admit that there's no substitute for a real understanding human who gets where you're coming from. ChatGPT ain't got nothing on the man. In fact, I'm posting this review as a way to force myself to quit putting it off another day and just make an appointment already. If you're reading this, you may do well to try the same.

He meets you where you are at in your journey and he seems to know exactly where to take you to improve your lifes journey. He works with other members of my family and we all benefit from his Buddist practices although he adapts to whatever spiritual entity works for you. His workbooks, print books- he has many- are 20 years ahead of our times. If it wasnt for him I would have given up after 35 years of the limited tools in any of the 12 step programs. Reading 164 pages for 35 years was not working for mw anymore. Now I feel like a budding flower again and I look forward to my new life thanks to Dr Hoffman

I had the books, I did the research, I had the friends who were pros, and yet I was unprepared for what would come afterwards. I'm sharing my story because I would like to acknowledge the incredible things that the hub for wellness has done to support me in the hardest experience of my life. Before even facing the hurtles of my PP depression that was later to come, I was sent home from the hospital with a horrendous injury and no education on how to properly recover. When I voiced my fears to Mati, she came to my house immediately. She brought with her a sense of support and compassion that I didn't know existed. She gave me a checkup and provided me with tips and treatment plan for my recovery. Her kindness and knowledge made all the difference in the world. The sad thing is that the information she gave me should have been the standard of care provided to me by my doctors and the hospital. Mati has turned that level of care and support into her full time career. I'm so grateful for what she has done for me and my family.

I barely could function after having my first baby. Honestly nothing helped. Now with my current pregnancy I have already been a million times better off and more prepared just with seeing Mati at the Hub. Pregnancy and postpartum is no joke and I cannot tell you how much safer I feel about having my second child even with the risk of post partum psychosis again I still feel beyond prepared and know what to do now. I am very grateful. I will continue post partum as well. YOU WONT REGRET IT! Go see Mati!
