Caregivers were sent to us who were unqualified at best--not to mention often flat out unwilling to do the work for which they were paid. On one occasion the aide outright lied about having done the work, which was immediately evident to all who were present. Attendance was also an ongoing issue (arriving late and leaving early). The company claims to run background checks on all of their aides, however, more than one aide claimed to have never met anyone in management. Attempts to reconcile our concerns with the management repeatedly went unheeded. I must concede that there was one aide who was both qualified and attentive; unfortunately she was rarely assigned to us (I hope she has moved on to a reputable employer). I got more out of their 30 minutes of stretching than I typically get on my own. So here is the challenge. I am a 51 year old Brazilian Jiu Jitsu student with strong legs forged over many years of kickboxing as a younger man. I stopped kickboxing, and everything tightened up. I started BJJ @49 in order to get back in shape (which has happened). However, I have had 3 years to regain flexibility, but it just isn't happening. I am going to take the "2x per week for 3 months" program they offer, and see if it makes a difference in my legs, hips, and back. On my own, I can push myself to a 120 degree center split...and no further. While that is just one measure of all the many angles and muscles in my legs, I'm gonna see if giving this place my time and money will increase my flexibility. It's Jan/2020. By the end of April/2020, I'll update my review with my personal results.
