For…read morethat $150 I was told the A\C was not working and for a complete diagnostics I would have to pay $400. I had also asked them to check the brakes for $99 because the back brakes squeaked. For $99 they told me that both front and back brakes were very bad& all needed to be replaced. In addition, they told us we had $3700 total worth of issues based on their computerized system. Vicky, the front desk person was rude because I asked why I wasn't told the initial diagnostics for the A/C only confirmed that it didn't work, which I already knew. I was out $258 for no repairs done. I took it to another mechanic who was honest, very thorough in explaining what he found. The front brakes had 60% life so the rear brakes were the only ones needing repairs. The A/C needed fluids vacuumed out& recharged, no leaks. We were out the door for $850. Beware of this business, they are not honest.

On October 4 I visited Store #5738 Newport, KY - 61 Carothers Rd and made an appointment to have a…read moremirror removed replaced on October 15. At that time I explained that an uninsured driver had hit the mirror and that I was pursuing compensation from the driver. The person I spoke to told me that because the trim piece for the mirror was undamaged they would be able to use it on the new mirror. Based upon this information I sent Firestone's quote to the driver who damaged the mirror and received payment in the amount of the quote. When I dropped the car off in the morning of the 15th I learned that the part had not been delivered but I was told that it should be there later in the day. I left my car at the store for several hours before receiving a call alerting me to the fact that part wouldn't be delivered that day, but that they would call me when the part arrived in order to make another appointment. My belief is that the part had not been ordered until the 15. On the 17th I received a call alerting me that the part had arrived, and I made an appointment for Saturday the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I dropped my car off on the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I did not receive a call to pick up my car on Saturday or Sunday morning, so at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday I called the store and learned that my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the store I discovered that a snap for the trim piece from the old mirror had been broken and so the trim piece had not been installed. I now either have to live with the mirror lacking the trim piece or pay out of my own pocket to have the matching trim piece installed. I won't return to Firestone Complete Auto Care.
