One body shop told me our Acura needed a new tailgate. Dan was able to work the dent out and repaint it so it looks just like new, saving me a $3,200 charge for a new (unfinished) Acura tailgate. He's good--really good--and his shop is clearly a point of pride. He's also a genuinely nice guy. You will likely have to wait for him to get to your job, but it's well worth it if you value a quality job done at a fair price.

On October 4 I visited Store #5738 Newport, KY - 61 Carothers Rd and made an appointment to have a…read moremirror removed replaced on October 15. At that time I explained that an uninsured driver had hit the mirror and that I was pursuing compensation from the driver. The person I spoke to told me that because the trim piece for the mirror was undamaged they would be able to use it on the new mirror. Based upon this information I sent Firestone's quote to the driver who damaged the mirror and received payment in the amount of the quote. When I dropped the car off in the morning of the 15th I learned that the part had not been delivered but I was told that it should be there later in the day. I left my car at the store for several hours before receiving a call alerting me to the fact that part wouldn't be delivered that day, but that they would call me when the part arrived in order to make another appointment. My belief is that the part had not been ordered until the 15. On the 17th I received a call alerting me that the part had arrived, and I made an appointment for Saturday the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I dropped my car off on the 18th at 10:00 a.m. I did not receive a call to pick up my car on Saturday or Sunday morning, so at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday I called the store and learned that my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived at the store I discovered that a snap for the trim piece from the old mirror had been broken and so the trim piece had not been installed. I now either have to live with the mirror lacking the trim piece or pay out of my own pocket to have the matching trim piece installed. I won't return to Firestone Complete Auto Care.
