Service: I went to Times Kunia today 9/9/26 and I went to a short white guy with a mustache. He greeted and scanned my groceries. I usually use a credit card but I decided to use $20 cash this time. My bill came out to $12.79 and I should have gotten back $7.21. He just handed me my change and said Thanks. When walked out I got only $7.10. Short11 cents. This guy can't count or in a rush or don't care or rude?!. Asst Mgr you should Audit his Register. This guy is always going to be over in his cash register because of rushing or don't care attitude? Recently check out the new brand name of Times supermarket combined with Don Quijote feels very strange in a good way . I like it because you can do your grocery shopping along with anything related w/Don Quijote . For example I like their small automotive aisle along with all the Japanese snacks . I was impressed they imported snack from Osaka Expo which was held about 1 month ago while I was up there myself in Osaka . Tried their hot plate lunch here recently and loved the value of the 2 meat 2 side plate lunch. They give you a good amount of food. Kalua pig and cabbage tasted like the cafeteria kind--just okay. I got their beef stew though and it was amazing. Maybe one of the best beef stews I've had. I really loved it. I'd come back if I'm in need of a quick bite to eat. Saturday special , pork chops with mushroom gravy. I was so impressed by the size of the pork chop. I got mash potatoes and toss salad with gravy on the side. The chop was very meaty and tender, really delicious. The mash was cooked perfectly the way I like it. The gravy was a bit too salty for me only because I rarely add salt but there was a good amount of mushrooms. I feel for the amount of food I got it was worth what I paid. Have to add that the lady serving the food did an excellent job. I will definitely go there again. read more

Wow, Times - major props on this upgrade! I've been shopping here since moving to Ewa Beach 10 years ago, and it's always been my favorite spot for groceries. Times beats both Foodland and Safeway, hands down, especially on pricing. With these new upgrades and revamp of merchandise, I'm really impressed. A lot of the items I used to drive all the way to Marukai for are now just a few minutes from home. Sure, Don Quijote in Waipahu still has a bigger selection, but Times is stepping up their game on premium items, for sure. This weekend, I was FLOORED to find fresh Hokkaido Uni and Otoro in their new sushi section. My wife had to samps, you know, purely for "research purposes." Her verdict? It was just as good as what we had the night before at Imanas Tei in town. If we can snag that level of sushi at a supermarket up the road? Game. Changer. Not only would that make her sushi cravings easier to handle, but we'd save a small fortune in the process. For me, I've got my eye on the Takoyaki in the hot section and maybe a bento or two, and let's throw in a crepe cake for good measure! Haha! Oh, and shoutout to the poke department - pretty solid every time. The workers there, and the staff overall, are always friendly and helpful, which makes shopping at Times an even better experience. With the addition of more Japanese cuisine, I'm guessing we'll be stopping by even more often. Now, about that restroom situation.... Times, please. It's been the same since I started coming here, and let me tell you - that's not a compliment. The other day, I went to open the bathroom stall door, and because the hinges are total trash, the door swung open like a wrecking ball and slammed into the next stall. I'm pretty sure I gave the poor woman in there a heart attack - or, you know, expedited the reason she was in there in the first place. LOL!! Not happy with their new format I hope it's not permanent or I will not be coming back to shop here. If I wanted to buy asian products where I can't even read the label, or 3 foot plush Pikachus (in the produce section!) I would go to nearby Seafood City or Pacific Market. Are they trying to be a Daiso dollar store now? Just buying basic needs like pasta or beer is a struggle wading through majority of aisles selling weird nick nacks and unknown Asian products. I used to go to Don Quijote a lot but this is like they took all the weird off brand stuff from that store and put it in here, and made thr aisles with basic stuff smaller. Since I was in the area, I figured check out this new store in Royal Kunia. Smaller version of Don Quixote/Times combined. Like another Yelper said, the aisles are small. Parking is kinda small when rush hour time, avoid lunchtime as it gets crowded. Large selection of asian products food/ drinks including the Japan skin care/hair care. I prefer going to Don Quixote or Times. read more

6/2/26 @ 8:03a - Yay for having poke bowls and some sushi available since I've shopped on several occasions before 10:30a last month without any out yet. Would prefer without sushi rice because the vinegar overpowers the poke flavor. Excellent ahi quality on this day. The eggplant and 100% whole wheat Oroweat were good Tuesday deals and able to make use of the 5% off coupon. Mahalo for helping customers save money! It's a pretty small store. Didn't buy much compared to a regular Don Q. I highly suggest not to go there before you have to go somewhere unless you are ok with smelling like fried fish. The smell was super strong and it stays on you until you shower and wash your clothes. I'll only bring stopping by here to buy some shower products. read more

First time finally checking the place out and only bought this sushi. Walked around for a bit to check everything out. It wasn't busy. Plan to check the place out again when I need items or food. While the workers were friendly and the store is nicely renovated, this is just Times and Don put together. It's a very nice store to go shopping at if you're in the area but I don't think I would come out of my way to come here. read more

Since they changed to Don Pen this store went downhill. I have been shopping here for years and now I can't find anything I need. They have too many Japanese snacks and the grocery selection got really small. Can't even find taco shells. They are also unorganized as they can't find the key to the tobacco cabinet. I do like the new Don - the only thing is I hate the smell. The filtration system to get the barbecue smell out is terrible. Unless you want to smell like you have been at a barbecue all day. Ladies, unless it's hair wash day - don't bother. read more

This was disappointing. I haven't got the steam plate since the change to DonPen. The steak plate is not the same, or at least this one wasn't. Doesn't taste the same, isn't cooked the same and you don't get a drink. I don't really care about the drink, but the streak! I'll try Waipahu next time and hope for better. read more

Did not like the customer service desk clerk. (Maria) Not friendly at all. Did not crack a smile! I went to get a refund on my second gallon of spoiled milk. She did not believe me saying she went in the back and opened a gallon and it was fine. Why would i go out of my way, drive all the way back to this store twice, just to get another gallon if it wasn't spoiled!?!? And I lugged the previous spoiled one back. How inconvenient! Not even a sorry for the inconvenience like the previous clerk Caroline who was the perfect example of great customer service! She (Caroline) should get a promotion. Went to Times Kunia for some last minute items. I was greeted at the door by an employee. This Times location is a little newer than other locations. Their produce here is also a little better than the Waipahu location and I love that they have a big area just for wine and liquor. I also love the sales that they have and different Asian products that they have available. It's a great place to shop for groceries or also for their daily food specials! read more

Renovation is nice. A lot of new products. Isles are rather narrow was really hard maneuvering my mother in laws wheelchair. BUT MOST of all they really gotta check their expiration dates on there products. We bought some things expired and rancid smelling. And even some products that are about to expire in 2 weeks. Pretty sad for a store that just renovated and reopened this past weekend. Be sure to check the expiration dates on anything you buy before you buy it. read more

I go to Times Royal Kunia whenever I want to find cubed steak and am in the area. This is the only grocery store that has it pretty regularly. I was told by a butcher it is because a lot of meat departments don't have the machine to prepare cubed steak. Times is now owned by Don Quijote so I did notice they have quite a few Japan items which I usually only at Marukai. I love their new self check out registers. One of the reasons I don't shop here on a regularly basis is that it is not close to where I live and the lines sometimes are long and move very slowly. Now that they have self check out, I may pop in more often. My friend always pops in for their roast turkey plate lunches. read more

First time trying the food her at Times. I got the Fried chicken and it did not disappoint. The taste was similar to Zippys, but a whole lot better. The entire thigh was light and crispy, while the inside was juicy and tasty. I was pleasantly surprised at how good their fried chicken was. The cashier/food server here was awesome too! We live Kapolei area, so its very convenient on the location thats near the off-on ramp of the freeway. Not even 5mins to Times Supermarket. Bonus, they have a restroom for those long afternoon traffic hours where your hungry and got to release some pressure. TMI I know, bit its the truth ad how many Times I had that and Thank GOD for Times to have this lovely location. I have been going to this location since 2000 when we bought our first Kunia home. It was a blessing to raise our family for 7yrs and now looking back.... I can't believe how the products are still in the same aisles. So I practically know the store layout. In the summer our 3 kids love spending time to shop in the AC. The hot food and seafood is still delicious and the staff service are awesome. Love the Kunia location! Great local supermarket that carries an excellent selection of poke and food items. We usually stop in 3x a week for fresh vegetables and last minute ingredients, as we live in the area. I recently found out they are having a sweepstakes and are giving out scratch cards. I didn't get a scratch card and called into their store. Gabriel at customer service was excellent and helped me with my issue quickly and in the most understanding and polite way. In addition, it's always a great experience as all their cashiers are nice and friendly. They have also recently renovated the aisles and turned them sideways, to what I think allows for more space. I usually shop at the Time's in town, but stopped at Royal Kunia location during a staycation out on the west side, for some groceries for our hotel. I really like this Time's location, my first vist turned in to more visits. This Time's is nice and spacious, with the Taste of Times in front of store on your right. I was surprised to see no lines, the town location is always crowded. I might grab food from Taste of Times next visit to save time. What I love about this location is that they have more Filipino products especially produce. I love the old school scale in the produce department. When I first shopped here I noticed the hot food section with prepackaged meats, had longanisa. My family loves this which I never know how to cook them, I tried once and frying it is too much work for me and it came out burnt. I was happy to see this here so I grab to bring back to the hotel, cooked up some eggs and rice and I got our breakfast set. Ever since then I have been back here to pick up groceries and the longanisa. During my last visit which was this recent Sunday to Times Kunia, with my mom, we had plans to go to Seafood City but I stopped here first to grab the sausage and we ended up getting everything at this Times. We got our seafood, meats, and noticed they have a nice selection of both. The meats are fresh and lucky we caught the sales on meat. I was surprised to see my total for our groceries was low, got some great deals. The only thing I noticed the lines can get long, which is due to not enough cashier line. Main thing lines moved quickly, no complaints from me. This has to be the best pharmacy. The people there are so friendly and very helpful. I pretty much know everyone there by name. They keep me updated on vaccines and will call me when my prescriptions are ready for pickup. They will also call the doctor if my prescription needs to be renewed. My wife and I are both happy with this pharmacy. I will say "hi" to them when I'm grocery shopping. It is true when they say "it's your friendly neighborhood pharmacy". read more
