The girl in the office said they were squealing real bad. NO WAY! When I said no she said " So you just want him to fail it?" I pick my car up, had to pay for the inspection and drove out with no sticker in my window. I made an appointment with a garage that I know would not rip me off(now before you wonder why I didn't take it there to begin with,, I knew my car would pass inspection!) I am leaving a review however because at about 10:00 on a Thursday morning, I called these guys because my wife is sitting on the side of an exit ramp off the highway with a flat tire and I needed someone to either tow it, or change it for her, and I figured a nice 24-hour towing place would be able to get it done... Only instead of answering the phone it rang a few times and went to voicemail. I thought that was kind of odd. I've used 24-hour towing places before and typically there is at least an operator or someone that answers the phone, or one time I remember a voicemail box that said if nobody calls you back in 5 minutes here's another number. But anyway yeah, yelp is where I typically go to share my experiences, and luckily we found someone else that I basically threw a stack of cash at to go change her tire for her.

It was there for three hours for an oil change on two cars and they only got one done didn't bother to mention anything that they weren't gonna get it done. Just let me wait. Was unhappy about that. Spoke with the manager and service manager was promised to be taken care of. Went there with another appointment was Saturday morning first thing and they still made me wait a half hour before they even pulled my car when I was first person of the day And to look for an exhaust leak the which they said was fine. Took it to Cole muffler and there was a hole in the could put your hand in so obviously mechanics don't work on Saturdays. Makes me wonder about my oil change so I didn't go there for a year and a half and then I had a dealer problem on my equinox called to speak with Jack the service manager to see if remembered my incident last time he couldn't come to the phone when he was twice. Southside auto repair shop appeared trustworthy however took they me for over $4K. I took my…read morevehicle in for a diagnostic due to engine lights so i could pass inspection. They started to purchase other parts for the vehicle which i approved based on their suggestions and recommendations. Bottom line, i drove away with engine light still on and over $4K out of my pocket. A honest business person with Integrity would of said "listen we were not able to locate the problem on your vehicle or we don't have a skilled mechanics onsite to service your vehicle" and allowed me to drive away with paying only the diagnostic fee. Instead they recommended all other fixes to get money from me or simply rip me off knowingly they couldn't fix my vehicle. And the funny thing, they came recommended - go figure. I tried to stay local in support of my community but i guess that was another big mistake.
