When Alex called to discuss my appointment, he cut me off as soon as I began describing my situation. Instead of listening, he told me I "needed to see a doctor" and that there was nothing they could do. He did not give me the chance to explain that I had already seen a doctor and been medically cleared. His dismissive attitude was rude and completely inappropriate for someone in customer service. I then called the corporate office and spoke with Bailey, who told me this was not how their company treats clients and that she would look into it and call me back. She seemed to respond, but the next person I spoke to was Johnathan, who made the situation worse. On his first call, he insulted my intelligence by telling me my building had extermination services, even though I was trying to hire my own independent service. On his second call, he flat-out denied service entirely. Despite having an active pest issue, they refused to even come inspect the unit, give guidance, or attempt to help in any way. I was also told their treatments were "watered down" and that I could buy stronger products at Home Depot--so why even hire a professional? This is how they treat someone actively seeking help with an ongoing infestation? Dismissive, unprofessional, condescending, and unwilling to provide service. I strongly do not recommend using Lookout Pest Control. Save your time and money--go elsewhere.

I called Pendley along with 3-4 other HVAC companies for estimates. When I called Pendley, the woman on the phone was rude right from the start, but I ignored it and just wanted the estimate. She never mentioned there would be a $125 fee for the estimate--if she had, I would've gone elsewhere. None of the other companies charged for estimates; they were all free. Pendley scheduled a tech to come out on a Wednesday at 8:30 AM. He showed up late, never called, and never even explained anything before leaving. I called the office, and they said they'd send me the estimate. During that follow-up call, they casually mentioned the $125 charge. I told them I wasn't paying because I was never made aware of that fee. I never got the estimate in writing, but I did get a call saying it would cost "around $400" to replace my ductwork. I almost spit out my drink. The actual cost for this job--now completed by another company--was about $3,500. Months later, Pendley called demanding I pay the $125. I explained again that I was never informed upfront and didn't think it was fair to charge me after the fact. They said I'd be hearing from the owner. He left a rude voicemail, so I called back to clear things up. Instead of listening, he said, "I've heard the recording, and she told you there was a fee. Do you really think I'd drive all the way to Cedartown for free?" Look, I don't care if a company charges for estimates--that's their prerogative--but customers need to be told up front. He then threatened to take me to magistrate court over this $125! I initially told him I'd pay it just to get it over with, but something felt off. The next day, I called and asked to hear the recording. Suddenly, the owner wasn't so confident. He snapped, "Do you really think I'm going to go through all that effort over $125?" Well, sir, you're the one dragging me through this. He told me I'd have to drive to their office to hear it, then when i said i would, he backpedaled and hung up. So either A) they don't have the recording, or B) they do--and it proves I was never told about the fee. This is not how you treat customers. Threatening people with court over something that was never disclosed is beyond unprofessional. I will never do business with Pendley again and highly recommend others stay away.

I hired another company to review their work and it was discovered they did not complete the job of putting wire along my gutters to keep the rodents from entering the house. I became upset when they charged the remainder of the balance of the job without doing the work and they came out to inspect. They said they didn't know how it happened but they had not completed the job and said they did. I still heard the rodents (which never stopped) but when I call them they said it must be another problem and refuse to come out and are now telling me that it is another problem all together. I called them to rid my house of rats that they never did. I told them I thought that the rodents were in the crawl space but they assured me there was no way and if it was that was not what I paid for? They were suspose to be the specialists not me but they refuse to do their job. I have since had to hire another company that fixed the problem at a fraction of the cost and time. I do not recommend this company for price, service or quality.
