It was clean and had a steady flow of customers coming through the Friday morning I visited and the family owned local business knew the names of their regular customers who came through. Love that. The gentleman who helped me was kind and patient as it was my first visit and I was slow to choose from all the options. I asked what his favorite was and he steered me towards the cronut. I will say that these guys have amazing donuts .... No question about it. However, customer service can make a business or break a business. The guy running the register is an A+ dick! They only had three of a specific non- gormet donut we requested....( We asked for six!) he said "We don't have any more". Mind you, this was within the first few min of them opening!!!! Luckily another worker heard his response and said,"oh that's ok, we can fix that". It took her all of about 1 minute to make the donuts requested. Like I said before, They were NOT from the gormet selection, but he charged me as tho they were!!! More than a dollar extra/EACH! The first three from the case were charged at normal price!!! Happy (belated) Anniversary, Donut Boy! This lovely bakery opened up just over five years ago and is hopping! How have I not stumbled across it until now? I'm not sure, but I'm glad I finally did! The selection of donuts is great-you have your usual suspects: glazed, sugar, maple, etc. for folks like me that stick with the traditionals. They also have a good selection of unique goods that are both beautiful to look at, as well as delicious! Of course, you can't have a donut without a cup of coffee-and they've got you covered here too. In addition to tasty treats, you'll be delighted by the customer service. My first time having Donut boy was at an event booth before covid. It was one of the twilight concert series and someone there catered boxes of the unicorn donuts. That was when I fell in love with those donuts. As time pass, the memory of those donuts also faded, until recently. I finally went to get more donuts, and all those memories came flooding back. The donut place isn't that big and the people there are very efficient and quick. I think they are so used to having a rush and getting people all their orders in time. They do have specialty donuts but don't get too comfortable with them, they go away eventually. The ones I got was Oreo, carrot cake, white chocolate raspberry, and Crumb. Oreo was good but slightly too sweet for me. The carrot cake was nice and delicious. The Crumb was super soft but also very sweet for me. the white chocolate raspberry was the best one for me. Highly recommend this place - especially if you have a sweet tooth. read more
