Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: N/A - went through the Drive Thru Value: 5/5 Darla's Donuts has a great variety of donuts and all were delicious! This small shop in Salt Lake is only open for drive thru, so be prepare for lines if you go during more popular breakfast hours. When you get to the window, the staff asks if you want to see their menu and if you say yes, they will bring out the entire tray of their donuts to you to pick from . We got the churro, blueberry crumble, Bismarck, apple fritter, maple bacon, and one with orange frosting(?) All were delicious and would definitely go back!

Pretty good donut shop. The lobby is CLOSED so you'll have to use the drive thru! I got an assorted dozen which was about $20. A little pricey but good quality donuts, my coworkers really liked them! It's right off the freeway so it's not a bad location. The service was really friendly but they didn't really have a menu to look off of. Overall, I would recommend this place if you don't mind paying a little more for some donuts!

Apple fritter made right!

Super convenient drive through! Friendly team members! I got my husband a Boston cream donut and myself an Apple fritter. Both were SO good! We've found our new donut shop!!! Thank you and keep up the excellent baking!

I went to Darla's Donuts the other day because I wanted a donut, but I also wanted to pick up donuts for my lab team because we've had a tough past few weeks. The lobby was closed at the time, and only the drive through was open, so there was a bit of a wait. There were a variety of donuts to choose from - from plain and old fashioned to a little more gourmet. I chose a variety baker's dozen, and I heard great things about the donuts. I tried a fruity pebbles donut for myself. I look forward to trying more for myself in the future.

Blueberry, Root beer, Orange and Chocolate were our guest's favorite.

I've heard about Darlas donuts but have never had the chance to try them. I'm so glad that I did. I was recently tasked to find delicious donuts for my sister's wedding reception. I sampled several different local donuts including Darlas. And out of several high rated local donut places - we found Darlas to be the best. Delicious donuts, lots of variety and great service. Definitely a new favorite! Jenna was helpful in advising us and taking our order for 17 dozen donuts. Jenna and Darla had the donuts ready for pickup and took great care of us for my sisters special day.

Yummy, yummy, donuts made with love!

Staff at Darla's loves donuts (as much as you do)! It shows in the fruity pebble topped donut, and all sorts of other creative combinations you can select that varies day-to-day. During the pandemic, they leaned-into their "creative" side window to make an impromptu drive-thru. When the gal hauled out a big flat of yummy donuts to point out (posting that pic 1st) which ones to make my dozen from, I knew this donut shop was a keeper. Of course, park and go in to select your donuts the 'old-fashioned' way (donut-pun intended!!), if the lobby's open to the public. Otherwise, the drive-thru is clutch & worth a lil' wait.

Although the lobby was not open, the drive through is a great way to get these halos of epic decadence. So soft and delicious. If you don't live in the area, this place is located directly off the HWY 201 and Redwood exit. And so worth the drive!!! We went traditional with glazed, sugar and cinnamon topped glazed. All were amazing.

I never really go down to SLC unless I need to. I finished up at a local clinic for a work physical, and was looking for some interesting food places in the area. Darla's Donuts was down the road from the clinic, and with rave reviews from both Yelp and Google, I figured why not? They open early but close in the early afternoon. I got here an hour before they closed and they still had donuts I had wanted to try. They were so helpful answering all my questions as to what donut was what and which ones were their popular ones. I wanted to try their croissant bars, and there was one left, and the lady behind the counter said she was going to get me a better looking one from the back. I appreciated her going the extra mile for me. I asked if there was any cream filled ones, and she offered to cream fill any donut of my choosing. Another extension of kindness from this amazing donut shop. I ended up trying the following donuts: Blueberry muffin: 10/10 - tasted exactly like a blueberry muffin! Fruity pebbles: 8/10 - simple, but good. Tastes like what you would expect. Croissant bar: 10/10 - basically a glazed donut but crispier because of the croissant aspect. I really loved the texture and taste of this one. It's one of their fan favorites for a reason. Chocolate covered cream filled - I didn't try this because I got it for my husband. He finished it quickly though so I assume it was delicious. Banana cream pie - 8/10 pretty good. The banana flavor isn't too strong, the whipped cream was like frosting. It was a good take on banana cream pie. Pumpkin pie - 8/10 very fall flavor type of donut. The cinnamon and pumpkin flavor goes off. I would 100% make the drive from Davis County to SLC to get these donuts. I would go here earlier though so you can get more selections. Also, I know this place is good because right before I walked in, a lady had ordered FOUR boxes of a dozen donuts. Darla's is fantastic. I wish it were closer!

Omg they open at 5 AM

Drop by to pick up a dozen donuts and I wasn't disappointed by the variety available at 600 AM! The vanilla custard filled donuts are hands down the very best! Apple fritters are what they are known for but I have to admit that I have had better and was a bit disappointed at how little apples were in them. But the good news is their raised sugar and glazed, old fashion and filled donuts are top shelf! So I'll leave the apple fritter behind and enjoy the rest! Staff are great - helpful and friendly- lots of parking and what more can you ask for! Awesome donuts we will return!

I was craving donuts! This is definitely satisfied it. Freshly made in the morning. We got maple bars, lemon filled, blueberry, chocolate coconut, apple cinnamon cluster. They were all amazing. The service here is excellent right when we walked in they greeted us and talked through what they had available and what was most popular. Get the blueberry doughnut it is the best. Out of the world! They were all so soft and had really great flavor. I would definitely come back here a whole box cost us $9! I hope they stay in business forever. I love that they are local.

Cute boxes!!

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! PROS: Main street, easy access from transportation/offices Great selection of homemade pastries Nice choices for drinks (obviously, I tried a few) Super quaint bistro style inside Outside seating under shade and a tree Attentive and exceptional employees (CONNOR) CONS: Parking may be an issue, although some on-street parking available DON'T THINK, JUST GO! Lots of choices.

We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.

If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

The sweet cashier recommended Strawberry & Mango, so that's what we got. They were delicious! I think the mango was my personal favorite. The location is in a food mall, which I wasn't expecting but it was so cute inside. I wish we had more time to check out the other vendors but we'll have to come back. On a separate note, it was kind of hard to find a trash can.
