The Pitt Stop Deli is a small convenience store with a full cold and hot hoagie station serving up all kinds of tasty options. I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out. Nice small little location but parking is limited and traffic coming off bridge can be a pain if heavy traffic times. Seating inside with a few tables/bar stools and walk up counter service. Now, pizza... my fav is Grandma's style and it did not disappoint! Nice portion sizes and flavor was great. Will def be back next visit to PA and can't wait to try more things.

This was a great tasting sub, I was able to taste the freshness of the meats and cheese, I also had some of their chicken soup which hit the spot on a cold night, it was loaded with rice, carrots, celery, and of course chicken. Now for starters I am trying a cup of their broccoli and cheddar which really hit the spot, a basic and old school soup, very delicious. These came out very hot and delicious without the sauce, the sauce pushed my taste buds over the limits, I never had this type of appetizer before, you can smell that sauce before you even taste it, you know it's well when that happens.
