I chatted with Skip, the owner, who mentioned they now accept EBT cards for items like bread, cereal, and milk. Today, I'm heading to the hot side of the grill for a meatball hoagie. Off camera, I asked if the meatballs were homemade, and he explained they come from another establishment--so yes, they're homemade, just not here. This was your classic meatball sub: toasted bun, melted mozzarella, and packed with flavorful, piping-hot meatballs. Even though it's a store, they have a spot where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you'd rather eat in than take out. A family member ordered the falafel on rice and didn't like it either. The ranch was actually really good, but from the experience we had, the food just wasn't hitting. We didn't order anything else so can't speak on anything else but our experience wasn't great and the customer service wasn't rude, but it wasn't nice either. Nice small little location but parking is limited and traffic coming off bridge can be a pain if heavy traffic times. Seating inside with a few tables/bar stools and walk up counter service. Now, pizza... my fav is Grandma's style and it did not disappoint! Nice portion sizes and flavor was great. Will def be back next visit to PA and can't wait to try more things.

The extensive menu features a variety of brunch options, salads, and sandwiches. Their veggie options are a bit limited, but definitely present (ex: falafel salad, avocado toast), and many of the dishes feature unique combinations and homemade sauces/aiolis. I landed on the Smoked Salmon Avocado toast, which was fine. I was disappointed that it seemed to be made with prepackaged guacamole/avocado (I'm sure for cost reasons), and the bread was pretty thick so it was challenging to eat. Flavor-wise, it was solid, but I think I'll try one of the other, more creative options next time. My cousin chose their turkey sandwich and seemed to enjoy. It was large enough that she took half home! Our food arrived before our matcha lattes, so we wound up asking for to-go cups. The matcha itself was delicious, though sweeter than we anticipated (in retrospect, we should have realized that a "white chocolate lavender matcha macchiato" would be pretty sweet!).
