I was just leaving the Indian restaurant nearby and I saw this donut shop. I don't really care much for Indian desserts, so I thought, why not get a donut or two? I go in thinking at that time of day after lunch there might not be too much of a selection, but the case was full of donuts and my fave the old fashions. I was tempted by an apple fritter too! The dounts made for a nice dessert after lunch and quite a different flavor from Indian food. Service was polite and basically got my donuts and paid. Oh, yes, they have donut holes too. Friendly service even when I'm hardly awake went to grab donuts for my daughters class today at 530am. They made me a mixed box 2 dozen and then handed me a special one for bday girls bfast. I am serious about my donuts. When I move to a new town, I try every donut shop in town to find the best. Donut Corner not only has the best tasting donuts in town, but they are also modestly priced. In fact, I hesitate to post this review because it'll be the equivalent of letting the secret out. However, I had to come down on the side of sharing these wonderful donuts with the Redding world because they really are the best. To the guy who said the employees are rude: I have no idea what he could be talking about. They are always friendly to me- even before I was a regular. Perhaps this is more a reflection of the customer than the employee. Do get in early, though, they have been known to run out before 10 am on weekends. read more

This is the worst donut shop I have ever been to. Not even starting with how horrible there donuts are they are just extremely rude, their prices somehow change depending on who's working? And they treat their customers like garbage, they're so rude it's insane. There donuts are NEVER warm even if you get their at open, they have a horrible selection and horrible prices and most the time you get a mouthful of grease when you bite into there donuts. I've lived in Redding for over three years and as a result have eaten a lot office office donuts from Anderson to Susanville and these ARE THE BEST local donuts! We've even put them against VooDoo donuts I brought back from Eugene and for classic donut flavor and texture these donuts won. Small place so selection is limited and only traditional varieties but on the flip side they're always fresh with your old favorites! read more

there are only two donut shops I go to, Luckys Donuts at Westwood village in Redding and the Donut Corner. The Donut Corner makes the very best cruller donuts! They also make great apple fritters. Lucky donuts also make great maple bars and old fashions. Each place is family owned and very nice people. read more

Used Yelp to find this place while traveling on business in Redding. Wanted to bring in something to our factory to help break the ice with the staff there and these donuts went over very well. The donut corner offered a great variety so putting together 2 dozed was quick and easy. The gentleman behind the counter was helpful and quick and we were in an out of there in a matter of minutes. Its a good thing too as the line was building behind us at 6:30 am that morning. I will definitely stop back in the next time I am back visiting this plant. read more

When the phone was answered I asked the Lady if I may speak to the owner and she said "he's not here" and hung up on me. Very rude. What ever the Donut Corner was, it is not anymore. When the young guys where there, they let my then 7 year old son use the restroom. I went in this past weekend and while my now 8 year old son and I where ordering, I asked if he could use the restroom and the very rude lady said no. I asked again and that it was for my son who was clearly doing the pee-pee dance, and the rude lady said very loud, NO!. So I left the donuts and drinks on the counter and I took my son over to K-mart to use the restrooms there. Even if the donuts are good, I will never support a place that will not let a child use the restroom. It is not like we where dress in old dirty clothing, we where clearly well dressed and clean. No compassion for my son, then I have no compassion for you and your business. And by the way, the donut shop in the mall is better and you can use the restrooms there. The lady there was nice and gave my son some donut holes. read more
