Limited cream is good to cut down calories.

If you like to connect with local people, this store is the best contact point. Decent local main stream people are very nice, same as the smiling clerk! Coffee isn't strong but it is good for Sunday morning after drinking 1st Starbucks coffee at home.

Nice little place in an area nobody knows is there. Always kinda busy, good coffee, pretty homey neighbourhood spot

Great donuts but you better get them fast. Stock is very limited and once gone they unfortunately do not get replenished.

They're donuts are ok. Definitely nothing special. I had the Hawaiian donut and it tastes identical to the vanilla dip donut at tim hortons.

Library coffee is a meticulous coffee lab that is dedicated to roasting beans with precision and…read morebalance. That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.

Really enjoyed the food and service here! The ambiance is beautiful. Bòn Italia is a local coffee…read moreshop and restaurant, across from Bayview Village Shopping Mall. There is parking underground at the condo, or simply park across and walk over. Food is made to order, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their Insalata Burrata Fresca (salad), Roman Feast pizza and Veal Parmagiano pasta. But tbh, all items are great! And don't forget about desserts ;) They also have LLBO, so you can enjoy a wine, cocktail, or mocktail with your meal as well.

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

The…read moreratings were high, the photos looked great, and I figured it'd be a safe bet -- so I brought my partner along expecting solid coffee. After trying my vanilla iced latte and my partner's macchiato... I wondered if this place might actually be better known for food or matcha, based on what I've seen in other reviews - the coffee was not good. The espresso beans seemed to be over-roasted, which were quite bitter for our liking as opposed to something more subtly chocolatey and nutty. My iced latte also got watery pretty quickly as the ice melted it seemed, and ended up tasting more like the kind of latte you'd get from a fast-food chain (or the espresso shot was way too long). A bit of a letdown, especially since the two fairly small drinks came to about $18. The space itself is cozy, and I really like the vinyl collection (which earned the 2 stars). That said, the records are noticeably pricey compared to typical vinyl shops like Sonic Boom. A lot of them -- even ones with just Side A -- were priced at $55 and up. I didn't cross-check the barcodes on Discogs, but while I love the curation (especially the focus on Japanese jazz and city pop -- really cool stuff), I find it hard to believe all of them are rare pressings worthy of those $55-to-several-hundred-dollar price tags. As an avid collector myself, I wouldn't come here to buy the records. Service was friendly.

I've passed this spot so much, but managed to take some time during a day off to stop in. I had a matcha latte with almond milk this time and I was pleasantly surprised, a perfect level of sweetness, and not to mention the foam! I had no idea this was possible with almond milk! I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and a bite.
