Valentines day had so many chocolate covered strawberries at $2 a piece. Extra fun find for today, plus today offered up a $20.00 gift box filled with the cutest, tasty treats. Strawberry cake donut was a perfect donut choice. Chocolate cake donut was another perfect, yet an unperfect shape.... kind of puffy, almost like that donut was puffed up from bragging it was the best of the case. Fudge options are excellent, reminded me of ones we got at the beach, however these are right here in an unassuming house in Georgetown. S*W*E*E*T spot!! read more

I swear to God, that they have friends and relatives make these posts. They were up for some national award recently. No one in the Georgetown area could figure out why. The used to deliver a few donuts to the local coffee shoP. They stopped using them because they were so unreliable. It's the same with their store. You never know when they'll be open, and when they won't. The open in the morning. Then open back up in the evening. Very strange hours. Often they will have only one type of donut out. That's it, one type of donut. I'd really like to support them, but gave up on this place. What a joke. read more

The lady that worked in there acted like she just lost her best friend. We had our two grandkids with us and she never smiled at them or said anything to them. She just was like she wanted us to disappear. To be treated that way it almost doesn't matter what the donuts were like. But the cake donuts were overcooked.We decided to go there because my son had been in the hospital the day before and we wanted to find some pumpkin decorated donuts for Halloween. There were just a few different selections in the case and they kept running to the back to look for donuts. I was really surprised to find they had no decorated even orange icing donuts. If you want to sell donuts why not put them in the case instead of leaving them setting in the back on racks? read more

Forget all the reviews that were posted before !the end of 2018. I say that because the business was sold and the new owner (forgive me for saying it) fell way short on the quality and taste. The doughnuts looked great but they are heavy and dense and they taste like they were fried in old over used oil. They made me sick to my stomach. Totally disappointing experience. The old doughnuts made by the previous owner were to die for, but the new owner need some major help to improve the taste and the lightness of the texture. I bought four doughnuts they put them in a bag on top of each other and by the time I got home they were one big lump of doughnut. I felt bad to give them one star but I could not for the life of me give them any better. read more

This is the only donut shop in town, and I am ok with that. Despite the fact that the coffee is awful(really, don't even try it), the donuts are heavenly. They recently moved to a new location around the corner from my house, and started opening from 7pm to 11 pm. This is the single greatest thing that has ever happened in the town of Georgetown in the last 150 years. It is also the single greatest reason for my recent 10 pound weight gain, but who cares when I can get a hot apple fritter at 10pm? All of the donuts are good, but the apple fritters are the best. They will also gladly add filling to any donut if you ask. If you happen to be in Georgetown, I'm sorry. But at least you can get a great donut. read more

I was asking for marshmallow filled donuts and the owner lied to me and didn't say they didn't have any and he tried to fill it with custard and then out marshmallow in the hole to make it look like what I wanted! This review is LONG overdue. I like donuts. I've always LIKED them. But this place...they make you LOVE them. The guy who makes them lives upstairs, and he, his wife (Cookie), and his daughter basically run the place. They are SO friendly. I go in there with my twins, and they always speak to them, and they know exactly what I want, and how I want it bagged up. These donuts are so fresh it's crazy. I've been to donut bakeries before. It's nothing new. This place blows them all out of the water. I On top of that, their prices are SO LOW. The only time my order is over $3 is if I buy a dozen. I can buy donuts for 3-4 people for less than $3! They will even take orders over the phone which is awesome (it would be even better if I remembered to utilize that option). They are open really early in the morning, and really late at night. That said, you need to try to get there at the beginning of their operating hours because they do sell out quite frequently. I've never actually tried the coffee (I can see from the reviews I'm not missing anything there), however, I will say, there was a day when I was planning to purchase coffee from them and the pot was empty. Cookie was so sweet and offered to make another pot there on the spot. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait. The only thing that's a bit of a downer is that they are closed on Monday morning. Of course, they need a day off, but for some reason, I'm always wanting to start my week with one of their donuts and I never remember they are closed until I get ready to pull in on Monday. They also do special orders sometimes. If you call ahead and say you want something, he will usually make it for you. One time, they even made us a powdered sugar one on the spot. Look...I've been to Jeff Bakery, I've been to the bakery in New Albany, I've been all over and this one is THE BEST, HANDS DOWN! Keep in mind, if you buy a dozen or don't plan to eat your treat right away, transfer them to a container. These are not Krispy Creams.....they aren't full of preservatives, so they will get stale if you don't keep them away from air. That's what you want though, you want fresh ingredients and that's what you are going to get EVERY TIME here! Enjoy! read more

If you want a simple donut and don't want to drive far from Georgetown, IN, then Donut Frenzy is for you. They have a very simple selection of donuts. Don't expect anything exotic. The donuts were good but not any better than any other donut store around. I wouldn't pass up another donut shop for this one but like I said, if you want a donut and don't want to travel far to get it, this is your place. read more

I was pretty excited to try this place based on reviews. I responded to a facebook ad of theirs for a donut bouquet for my husband's birthday. Georgetown is a 25 minute drive for me, but no biggie, right? Showed up this morning at the agreed upon time and the lights were off, doors locked. Note on the door said they were closed. When I messaged them on FB, they told me their fryer had broken and they didn't think messaging me at 2am would have been appropriate. However, they knew I was coming. They also knew I was a first time customer. SO - ANY message from 2am until 9:30am would have been better than nothing. And then, they blocked me from responding to their FB message AND from reviewing them on Facebook. So, here we are. I guess if you know you've treated a customer poorly rather than accepting it and handling it like an adult, you just block them and it's all okay. read more

The donuts here truly are very good. Since the store has limited hours and makes the donuts on site every morning, they are fresh and delicious. I have brought them in to work several times and they are always a hit with my co workers. read more

They are in a different location than they used to be, but still in Georgetown on Hwy 64. The cost is comparable to the big box store bakery doughnuts, but so much better flavor and texture. The very best cake doughnut I've ever had. I believe they are open from 4am - 11am and 7pm - 11pm daily except Sunday night. Family owned business. read more
