My husband and I went to village house coffee for an early Valentine's Day date and had a great time! I love when places offer flights to try different drinks. I ordered the winter flight with the specialty coffees at the time. One of them was a Christmas flavor that had just finished and they would substitute any flavor I wanted. There are so many options to choose from but the staff was wonderful and asked me a few questions and gave me a couple of other suggestions as a substitute and it was my favorite in the end! Everyone was so friendly and the establishment makes you feel at home. I loved all of the pictures of everyone around the place. It made it feel very homey and inviting and showed how everyone there is like a family. We enjoyed our coffees and time relaxing there! We also got my daughter a caramel cider on our way out and she said it was the best she has ever had.... We would highly recommend this local coffee shop! I look forward to going back again! I wish I had taken more pictures. I had not originally planned on doing a review or I would have taken more. I love using Yelp for information and decided I wanted to make sure I helped get the word out about this local place a little later or I would have had more pictures of how cost and homey it is!! read more

Wow!! I just love this place! Great coffee, great bariatas, great vibe! I got the Acorn Cruch today which is "All-star the nuts", just like me! Haha! Its delicious and I fully recommend it! Their smoothies are out of this world. The first time I ever had one, I came back ten minutes later and ordered a second. The service is quick and friendly, prices are reasonable, and they offer rewards (though I personally don't use them, so couldn't tell you how they work). It is a little further out of the way for me, so coming here is both a rare occasion and a special treat. Hopefully I'll be able to visit soon! read more

Only been here once. Got the white mocha with oat milk (as I do anywhere I go). It was absolutely fantastic, staff was friendly, and even though they were slammed busy, I received my drink in what seemed like record time. It couldn't have been more than 2 minutes. Just wish they had more breakfast options other than sweets. read more

My wife and I really liked this coffee house! The ambiance was soothing and it had a cozy relaxing vibe. It's not far from where we recently moved in southern Indiana. They use Sunergos coffee which is a nearby local Louisville brand. If I had a critique (and this is the coffee snob coming out), it would be to have an organic selection, but I'm not sure Sunergos supplies organic coffee. That said, the coffee was really good and I'm we found this place. They have some cool funny merch for sale too. I highly recommend coming here! We'll be back. read more

I'm never in Georgetown, Indiana; but today my brother is getting married to an Indiana girl and her childhood church is, you guessed it, in Georgetown. After a LONG morning of pictures I needed a coffee. I almost drove to New Albany, but Yelp helped me find this cute little spot just a few miles down the road. There were several positive reviews, the pics made the place look inviting AND there was a 25% check-in offer! I love supporting local business and trying new things, so here I am, sitting in the big comfy chair, sipping my quad shot, skim pumpkin spice latte, sucking up their FREE wifi. The decor is warm and eclectic. There are Christmas style lights strung across the room and a few small lamps brighting up the space. There's soft acoustic versions of today's music playing over the speakers and there's even a piano pushed up again one of the walls. The barista, Haley, was just adorable. She was super friendly and upbeat. Unfortunately, there was no button on their square reader to take off the 25%, so she offered me 10% (since there was a button for that). We ended up agreeing for her to not charge me for my extra shot. She was apologetic, and texted her boss to ask about the check-in offer. I think the coffee was $4ish, and it's pumpkin spice with an extra shot, so I wasn't too bent out of shape about. I got my coffee to go then sat on the couch to relax a bit before heading back to the church. She checked in on me a few times and made pleasant conversation. This seems like a great little spot. If I was near Georgetown more often I think I'd join the rewards program and hang out during the happy hours :) Oh, and the pumpkin spice latte -- it's just super! Top notch! read more

Village House Coffee lost my business after the employee who took my money asked me if I was going to give her a tip. I always tip in restaurants but not when I'm pressured to do so. This happened 3 visits in a row. All 3 times were at the drive-through window. TO BE FAIR, THE LATTES ARE GOOD. Also, I left a message twice for the owner to call me AND I requested a call on their website but nobody called. I do want the business to thrive but it won't be with my money because unfortunately I'm not comfortable going there anymore. read more

Great staff, wonderful ambiance! This coffee shop is painted with warm colors and full of comfy furniture, they even have a little cozy backroom that reminds me of the den at grandmas house. I stopped by this charming shop on my way to Evansville to see how they were doing. It is still a great shop, but I'm confused by their choice of coffee providers. I've stopped several times at other coffee houses in Southern Indiana that use the same provider, Sunergos. All of them sold the same coffee at a lower price, both my the cup and retail. Plus the finished product is better than the Village House. Why do they continue to use the same coffee everyone else is using? Find your identity. read more
