We were a little hesitant to stop by considering the fact they had less than half an hour to close and most businesses seem to be irritated over this type of stuff but after seeing their great ratings we thought their customer service must be splendid, and it was, we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, the decor inside is super minimalist, something I liked. It was close to closing but they still had everything we were looking for, I forgot to get the guys name but he was super helpful, he informed us about some of their new items and we told him this was our first time in, he treated us to a donut! My partner and I were very pleased with this tiny shop:-) we will definitely be returning. thank you guy for making this such a pleasant experience. And their donuts 10/10. I am no donut connoisseur by any means but I eat donuts on a daily basis. I must say they have some of the best donuts I have ever tasted. The selection variety is awesome, the place is SUPER clean (not your typical dingy donut shop) and the dudes working the counter are super cool. You literally have to come everyday to see what flavors the Donut Guys are whipping up. Aside from donuts they also offer kolaches and breakfast sandwiches. Their kolaches are amazing. Some of the neatest donuts!!!! Gotta try this place out. It's new and really good! My favorite by far was the sausage kolache and the maple is super sweet with that savory bacon! OMG!! This has to be the best donut shop in/or around Houston. The Vietnamese iced coffee is the absolute best I have ever had; made with "Cafe du Monde" coffee, it just doesn't get better than that. I stopped in for the first time for a few of my favorites and was amazed by the friendliness of the owners. I ordered the chocolate covered cake donuts I came for and was given some samples to try. The maple bacon was over the top delicious, the glazed was perfect, the breakfast chowder was amazing. Their breakfast sandwichea are excellent and they make them with real fried eggs (not scrambled from a box) and they fry them to temperature (maybe it was because I asked nicely? )! I was pleasantly surprised that I actually got a runny yolk when I asked for over medium! Their donuts are as good as anyone's and better than some I've had since moving to Houston! We got a sausage and cheese kolache and a half dozen donuts: 2 glazed, one lemon filled (they do it to order), French crueler, strawberry and cream cheese, and an apple fritter. These donuts were fresh and so perfectly fluffy. My husband ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee - it's just amazing. As we were leaving, they gave us a free specialty donut- we got bacon maple glazed. So delicious. You can't go wrong with anything in this place. Everything is made fresh, service is friendly and attentive. The Donut Guys make the best donuts in town, bar none. Their apple fritters are outstanding, crispy but not greasy, lots of apples and a wonderful glaze. You had me at Nutella . My daughter goes to the middle school across the street and she has been bugging me for months now to go but we are habitually late every morning well today I decided to go after I dropped her off and boy am I glad I did! I got a smores doughnut for my daughter, a boudain kolache, and a Nutella stuffed doughnut plus some freebies for being a first timer like the maple and bacon and some donut holes. OMG am I in love you may be thinking Nutella stuffed donuts are almost everywhere these days but let me break it down why I am in love. Every doughnut shop I have ever tried that offers them, stuff it to where it looks like you are getting a lot of Nutella but then you bite in and you just ate all the Nutella in one bite well not here!!!!! When I say this thing was overflowing with the stuff that runs through my veins and keeps my blood pumping (Nutella) that is no joke. I will definitely be back. First off, super clean and very minimal inside. Awesome people, very knowledgeable and so friendly. The Vietnamese coffee is a must. This shop just has a bit of everything that you could want. The boudin is great and they have some cool pastries. You can get just a regular glaze or you can get something a bit more colorful like fruity pebbles on top of a chocolate glazed donut. Yum yum yum! The donuts are excellent. The turtle and smores donut was great. Maple bacon was also a plus! The jap and cheese kolache was ok however it did have a hot dog taste which i hate! I like sausage to taste like sausage. I would recommend changing that. The breading around the kolache was very good though. Next time I'm trying the boudain kolache. Very cute inside and the owner was very kind! We will be back! read more
