I love this place! Why? Because they make Red Velvet Chocolate Iced Cake Donuts. First of all, I love cake donuts and no one seems to make them anymore. But here they offer a several varieties of cake donuts, so I am a fan. Donut Haven does offers the usual variety of donuts including sausage rolls. And if you what it warmed up all you have to do is ask. The owners are nice and polite. In case you want to dine in they do have a few tables and chairs inside. Sometimes good things are kept hidden away in a not so shiny and new strip mall. Donut Haven is one of them. We happened upon them only on the recommendations of others and we are glad we did. I adore the people who work there; they are so very sweet. Their donuts are fresh and are worth each and every calorie. My boys are a big fan of their sausage rolls. I love the cake donuts. There's a lot to choose from if you get there early, but they close at 12pm. And if you don't get there early enough you might not get your first choice. read more

I read "sausage rolls" in some of the other reviews and imagine a puff-pastry type shell with an actual spiced/herby flavorful sausage inside (not a hot-dog type thing) probably because if you've eaten UK-type sausage rolls, that's what you think they are. I would call these " pigs in a blanket". Or pigs in a big fat overstuffed duvet. Basically a small hot dog in a fluffy slightly sweetish fat wrap of dough, some of which I removed. The one wrapped in croissant- style dough was a little better. I wouldn't go out of my way to order these again, though. I also wanted to try the doughnuts so I bought a glazed and an "eclair" ( this was also NOT an eclair. It was a long john. ) I didn't expect much after the rolls but I have to admit, the doughnuts were quite good. Light and sweet, but not overly sweet. And the whole thing was CHEAP. Two rolls, two donuts, under four dollars. They have a pretty decent selection of flavors for a small local donut place. I'd definitely stop and grab donuts here for a family breakfast. read more

I love this place. Its the best part of going with my husband on his annual business training. The lady who works the front counter is so welcoming and patient while I "hem-haw" over my choices for the bakers dozen. This place really is a haven, they have all the classics plus a few oddities. No matter what you call it, koloches or pigs in a blanket, get one! My personal fave is the sausage, cheese, and jalapeño! If you like spicey and sugary, it's a winning combo. And yes, she will ask if you want it heated. Do it. Once I have my loot, plus beverage of my choice, I head back to my hotel and indulge on the patio. I highly recommend that you do the same. Everytime i come here the lady seems to upcharge me when i get the same exact thing as the time before. I got a bacon croissant, a chocolate peanut donut, a redbull and a dozen glazed donut holes. The total for that came out to a little over $6. The next time i came i got less.
