Donut Castle is every bit as delicious as it was 16 years ago! I stopped in hoping for my old favorite (they were out), but it turned into an even sweeter experience, I got to introduce my daughter to Superman ice cream! Holy Nostalgia! Recently went Taylor to visit family in the surrounding cities and decided to stop at Donut Kastle. The place still has the charm and quaintness I remember. Hands down the go-to for a variety of fresh donuts. We ordered our treats at the drive in window, like we always did and the service was fast! I highly recommend visited early because supplies don't last long - unfortunately for me that was the case. Nonetheless,we were able to get donuts just not the ones we wanted because they were all out. We ordered ice cream also which is the next best treat they serve. It was this location that our team went to recently to grab some donuts for the team. Our team grabbed a dozen assorted box of donuts for a treat. Got some plain, glazed, filled with custard and fruit filling, sugar, chocolate covered, glazed with nuts and other cake donuts too. There's never been a donut my team has ever turned down and not devoured. Who doesn't enjoy carby goodness? May have to come back and get some apple fritters to see how they are here. read more

While it's clear that dounuts are the speciality, they do sell ice cream treats in the old skooll counter setup; only missing the pimple faced, squeaky voiced, soda jerk. If you're feeling lucky, they are a full service lotto store in an odd twist. Sweet, little, grandmotherly woman at the counter was sweet as the treats.
