Came in for breakfast take out. They were out of all croissants by 10am on a holiday (fair). The food was very average BUT the service was terrible! I got a few of #10 bagel with egg, cheese and bacon, a bagel w/ cream cheese and jalapenos, an old fashioned glazed donut and chocolate donut. - pretty standard The sign says they charge for credit card so I pulled my wallet back out for cash, but the asian lady said "doesnt matter, no charge for you". Before I paid I asked why she charged $1.00 more for one of the sandwiches and so she changed the price but ended up charging for the credit card use. She lied and she was just annoying. For a place with standard food, the service should be a lot better. Will not be returning. read more

I too came here to check out the vegan donuts. The chocolate bars, maple bars, and glazed donuts are all vegan and they taste literally the exact same as non-vegan donuts we all grew up eating. I'm actually skeptical. I think the owners need to post the ingredients list because I've been vegan for 3+ years and I'd be so upset if the vegans contained any form of milk, eggs, honey, gelatin, etc. A message to the owners: PLEASE post the ingredients list. Don't eat here! I came in for a donut and there was a fly flying around on one side of the donuts! I got one from the other side because it was the other side and we are in cow city and flies can get everywhere! I was kind enough to tell her then she tried to say it's not flying and I said yes and it started flying around! She killed it in the case. I left. Please do not come here if you consider yourself high risk because they lady working there was wearing her mask on her chin and not wearing any gloves. As for the food I tried- the croissant with bacon egg and cheese smelled funny to me I took one bite and tossed it decided it wasn't worth eating the whole thing. The donut was indeed pretty good but I have good donut places closer to my house. And my blended tai tea was decent at best too sweet to enjoy the whole thing... This is my last choice for donuts. The variety is very small. Not much to choose from. That's okay. I still frequented the place a few times when Christie's donuts nearby was full of customers or their parking lot wouldn't allow me to park. The small selection is fine. The one thing that brings down the experience is the customer service. Each time I went into Donuts Xpress, the man who I assume is the owner by how he presents himself, appears very rude. Acts as if it's an inconvenience to serve his customers. The other workers are usually pleasant but even if someone else is helping with the donuts, the owner hovers and interjects with comments or stares at you as if judging if you're worthy of the donut purchase at his business. Never a pleasant experience. Maybe I'm being thin skinned but it's not like I'm asking for someone to entertain me or make the sweets before my eyes. I just want to pick a few readily available donuts, pay and be on my way. I do prefer Christie's a little further down the road.
