(This is what's known as a day late and a dollar short)…read more This is an email I replied to (same day received) July 23, 2020; 16 days after leaving my initial review... Alexander Z 12:00 AM (21 hours ago) to jaspony1, Ashley Thank you for your email. I will not reconsider your request. I appreciate your timely request for reconsideration, but I did reach out to your organization with a request for cancellation that included a note that the quality of your services had declined. A remedy was not offered; only an apology and an agreement to not charge me for future services. In fact, I advised you that since retaining your services in December 2019, I was very satisfied with the quality of your services. Unfortunately, the decline in your service quality continued after a new individual started servicing my yard. I am now using Poo Happens for these services. I was looking for a remedy and was not offered one until now. At Clean Paw we have no contracts and state you can cancel at any time for any reason, and we really do honor that agreement. Your initial complaint was made while we were away on a family camping trip.(some needed R&R) When we got back from the trip we started at the top of the emails and worked our way down, when we got to your email it asked to cancel and we honored your request. After cancelation, we always ask what the reason for canceling was so that we could make a better customer experience and fix any issues. Also if we get a complaint and given enough time, we as the owners will always go and make a special visit to clean up the yard and to access the reason behind the complaint, so we can remedy the situation and make sure it doesn't happen again. We are a very small family business struggling to keep our heads above the water during these trying times and hope that you would reconsider your rating. Also we would love to have you back as a customer and we are very sorry for any misunderstandings.

The Poop Fairy - The Poop Fairy did an excellent job, first appointment for my backyard. Worth it!

We have had Poop Fairy service since Oct of 2024. For the most part, service has been satisfactory…read more Technicians have been later than the prescribed 2 hour window numerous times...or have arrived way outside the scheduled parameters. The local franchise owner is very polite but apparently overwhelmed or overworked within her normal job. We have had scoop service for three small dogs. Two weeks ago one of our dogs passed away. I notified the owner of this and told her would pay full price (obviously) for the next day's scoop but after that please only charge for two dogs. No problem right? Until the following week and I get the three dog invoice. I contacted and requested a new bill. After several emails, and seven days, I still don't have a corrected bill and am getting late notices. Today I paid the full amount and canceled service. Too many issues stacked up. Billing, scooping too much rock out of my yard, late or three hours early, not spraying deodorizer. I will say they never left the gate unlocked and always left treats for the dogs.

I have been on a biweekly plan with this team for multiple months. I have never had any serious…read moreissue until this past week other than them leaving my gate unlocked when they leave. Which is no big deal, I can lock it if they forget. Their plan is set up so you receive an automated text message when they are going to be in your area to clean up your backyard. It is usually a 2 to 3 hour window of time, which, as we all know in most service industries, is a tad bit frustrating, but they are usually great about letting you know when they are 10 minutes out. With that said, when I know they are coming that day, I try to stay within a five minute range of my home so I can be home to unlock the gate for them. I live in old town Buckeye, and do not leave my back gate unlocked because people like to steal dogs. Yesterday I was told their son was coming between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM. I left my house to go to the bank down the road and planned on grocery shopping at the market down the street. It's like a five minute drive. If I were to receive a text saying they were 10 minutes out, I could make it home within five minutes to unlock the gate for them. While I was back home, I received a text saying the gate was locked. I looked out my front door and nobody was there. I decided to call and I was informed by the owner that her son had attempted to come by and clean up the poop, but the gate was locked. Sarah, the owner, told me that her son did not have service in my area at that time but she would try to get him to come back at the end of their rounds. I told her that was fine. I never heard anything back. I texted again a few hours later to get an update and she asked if they would be able to come first thing in the morning. I usually work 12 hour shifts on the weekends starting at 7 AM, and she asked if he could come by at 8 AM. I told her that was fine and that I would adjust my schedule accordingly to allow him to come in and clean. By 8:40 AM the next day, nobody had shown up. I texted the owner to inform her, to which she replied that her son's alarm did not go off and she asked me how much longer I planned on being at the house. I informed her that I needed to leave and would not be home until about 7 PM. She asked what time I leave the house Sunday morning, to which I replied before 7 AM. She asked me to try again Sunday morning, to which I replied that I would rather not adjust my working hours and come to work late again in case he did not show up again. She offered for him to come Saturday evening, which is frustrating because though I work long hours, the time I am not spending at work, I like to spend with my family. We go out for dinner on weekends. I informed her that I was not impressed with the lack of communication the last few days and wanted to be removed from her route. I asked her to remove my banking information and we could just go separate ways. This is where she became rude and accusatory. She said that it was my fault because her son showed up and I was not available and the gate was locked. I can understand that, but I never received any text message indicating they were nearby or that I was next on the route. Which is some thing they always do. I'm assuming this is due to the fact that the child was not getting service, however, she was blaming me for her son's lack of service. Screenshots are attached. This company has their children working for them, and as a result, there is a lack of accountability on their end. I guess it is to be expected when you have teenagers working for you over the summer months. I shouldn't have to adjust my entire work schedule around a child that decided to sleep in on Saturday morning. Period and I should not be blamed for their lack of adequate service providers when they are running a business that requires adequate cell phone service to successfully function. My suggestion is to look elsewhere. Maybe have your neighborhood kid pick up the dog poop, it's cheaper, and probably just as reliable at this rate. Side note: I did also have an issue with her son the prior cleaning, I went outside while he was cleaning a few weeks ago, and asked if they could move me to weekly rather than biweekly. He told me he would inform his mother. They never showed up the following week. Sarah states that it is because he told her and she forgot, but I am pretty confident that he just simply forgot to tell her and she is taking the fall. Again, gotta love teenagers.
