I now have to figure out how to get the recurring service cancelled without being billed. I would strongly warn any potential customer that this company....Poop 911....should not be signed up for as recurring service without engaging directly with a human first. ** Update Apr 30, 2026 - Was finally able to get a hold of someone and had the service cancelled. The recommendation if engaging with this service is to utilize telephone numbers versus email to get a response.

Kyle from Poo Happens is really great. She owns the company and is a veteran. She goes way out of her way to do an amazing job each week. Not only does she scoop the poop, she brings a really long hose to get across the backyard to wash it off when she is done. I highly recommend Kyle and Poo Happens.

As of 9:45 on the first morning of my four-day vacation, I had received no communication and had not received an alert on my phone of motion in my dog yard. I texted Grace but received no response. I then tried to call her at 10:00 a.m., but there was no answer. A few minutes later, I received an alert of motion from my front doorbell. The doorbell camera showed a Sheriff's deputy knocking on my door. I called Grace again, but again, no answer. After a while, I got a call from Grace, explaining that she heard a "screaming" sound from my dogs and that she had locked herself in the guest room and called 911. I reminded Grace that, when she had come to my home two weeks prior, I told her that my dogs had learned to howl from neighborhood coyotes and got them to howl so she could hear them and not be surprised if they howled while she was staying with them. She told me she had forgotten. I then felt I had no choice but to return home immediately, forgoing the rest of my vacation and forfeiting hotel and jet ski rental deposits.

Also, you know how most of these services will give a light spray of a nice fragrance when they're done, so your yard smells all wonderful? Don't expect that here. The local franchise owner is very polite but apparently overwhelmed or overworked within her normal job. We have had scoop service for three small dogs. Two weeks ago one of our dogs passed away. I notified the owner of this and told her would pay full price (obviously) for the next day's scoop but after that please only charge for two dogs. No problem right? Until the following week and I get the three dog invoice. I contacted and requested a new bill. After several emails, and seven days, I still don't have a corrected bill and am getting late notices. Today I paid the full amount and canceled service. Too many issues stacked up. Billing, scooping too much rock out of my yard, late or three hours early, not spraying deodorizer. I will say they never left the gate unlocked and always left treats for the dogs.
