Our location is…read moreconveniently located next to RIT and many local companies, including Paychex, The American Red Cross, and Alstom Signaling, just to name a few. Our hours of operation are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, and we welcome families to visit and drop off anytime between those hours. We enroll children between the ages of 6 weeks through 10 years. We also provide 'Before' and 'After' school care for families who reside in the Rush-Henrietta School District, and Vacation Club and Summer Camp for all children of school age.

My daughter attends CCB and she seems to enjoy it there. It's hard to compare daycares since, we've…read moremoved her at different ages. However I feel there's a good consistency in the teachers there. They keep "floating" teachers there to a minimum, so it's almost always one of her regular teachers at pick up and drop off. There are good programs to keep the little ones busy. I believe there's a regularly schedule rotation of art and music teachers that rotate through the rooms. They also have a surprisingly robust (and newly renovated) outdoor space and playground for the various rooms. My 2 year old spends a lot of time exploring outdoors in a safe and contained space, which I think is a good thing. CCB does a good job of communicating any changes in schedule, staff and events. It's a relatively big place, but seems to well-organized. They also provide food which is a plus, since meal prepping for our little one was a big time sink and also probably less healthy. Overall I would highly recommend CCB and wouldn't hesitate to send another child there in the future.

She would frequently go out of her way to see old teachers and say hello to the friendly staff. CCB did everything they could to help our child adapt and grow while there. Any time we had questions the staff and teachers worked together to improve the situation. Besides the excellent care, the facilities and programs were excellent and never felt tired. We felt everyone there was proud to help the center be at its best. People clearly were proud to do the right thing and maintain the reputation that CCB earned over the decades.

When we moved to Rochester a few years ago, we were lucky enough to get a spot for our daughter at…read moreRB. The building quickly became a second home to us and the staff became our second family. Since then, they have grown to love two more of our children and have taken care of them all in every way. Our daughter was extremely well prepared for kindergarten after finishing preK. The center never closed due to staffing issues etc. They are extremely knowledgeable and competent with food allergies. Most importantly, I always knew my children were going to be loved and deeply cared for when I dropped them off in the morning. They have made lasting friendships and their teachers remember them for years after they left their class. It is a special place and we feel extremely lucky to be a part of it.

In the infant room, a woman sat in a rocking chair while two infants did tummy time on the carpet under her. One of the children and spit up a considerable amount and no one noticed or did anything about it. Additionally, I heard staff talking negatively about other staff right at the front desk as the supervisor gave me a tour! I was shocked. URMC NEEDS to create an excellent childcare center on campus.

I have only toured this facility (2 different times) and was really saddened by what I saw each…read moretime. My main concern was the caretakers attitude towards the children. They didn't smile or engage with the kids. In the infant classroom I watched as 3 babies cried and cried and neither caregiver even looked at them. These were babies who needed something and the staff did nothing. When they did pick up a baby to feed it, they were rough and didn't try to comfort the baby at all - simply stick in the bottle. You would hope that while the baby got fed and received some personal attention that the caregiver could smile or try to talk to the baby a little. Babies need to feel loved and they certainly aren't going to get that there. Most of the caregivers I saw were very young women who seemed to not want to be there. A lot of the 'teachers' weren't there either time and they had floats filling in. The two classrooms where my child could have gone had no windows. It was just a very sad environment and I could never leave my child there.

Everything is digital (billing, updates, forms) and if any information is incorrect, the staff is quick to fix it. They also offer bonus special events for the kids and their families. Overall, we have had a great experience!

My family has used this day care for a couple years. This year we decided to leave because my child…read morewas bullied and the person watching over the kids did nothing until my child acted out. On top of it they punished him because he is special needs and they stated they do not offer a program to suit his needs. They were fine for the first couple years now because he acted out due to being bullied, they no longer can offer the program to them. Thats sad that this place is not a safe place for a child who needs a little more than the average in assistance. Do not send your child here if you are looking for a safe space for them. They allow bullying and take it out on the child who decides to act out because no one is listening.

The generations child care was our first nursery tour scheduled. We arrived today - and the front desk receptionist was very nice. She offered us a seat while we waited for the director, Tammy, to show. In the lobby right by the front door is the waiting room. We went to go sit and i realized the garbage can was over flowing with bugs crawling / flying all around. Instantly I was disgusted. Before our tour - i asked about price and realized they don't offer the part time care we are looking for at this location. I was secretly happy. Before we left - i told Tammy about how i am a first time mom and i am already nervous about bringing my baby to childcare and the garbage was over flowing and covered in crawling bugs. (As a fruit fly proceeded to fly past her head). I told her it skeeved me out and was a very bad first impression. Then i asked how often are the garbage changed? All she had to say was "daily" with a half smirk on her face. She didn't apologize for the fact that the facility she runs was disgusting. She didn't have any sympathy. She honestly didn't even act like she cared. First impressions are very important. And the cleanliness & Manors of the director - made me never want to let my child step foot in this place. You want me to pay you $800 a month and you can't even clean out your garbage cans??? I think not! Hope all the rest of the nurseries we look at arn't like this dump.

I would like to write this in reguards to the irondiquoit location of generations upk program room…read more.. my grandson went there from sept 2023 to April 2024 6 mos and in the beginning we have it a chance as this was a child that would get his services at this location thru the school district all of that was good .. thank you city school district but the center it self was not good including the director that doesn't communicate very cell different helpers in the classes what they call teachers no they are NOT .. they were not nice to my grandson everyday was a here ya go report all bad never good remind you my grandson is 3! on April 11 th my daughter got a call to come get him he's having a breakdown meltdown whatever ...my daughter came to pick him up not one time did my daughter get a incident report from the director of irondiquoit generations not a call not a called meeting Nothing!!! and when my daughter went to pick baby up there was no teacher in classroom whom had the incident with my grandson she was no where in sight but yet director was .. yes there's a piece to this puzzle missing this daycare failed my grandson and neglected him in too many ways neglected his education from April 11th to April 24 th the more I write the more this upsets us as we do have a lawyer aboard this is a horrible center especially if your a parent that don't want your child coming home sooo hungry and with a soaked diaper on a daily bases this I promise you do not send your child here the director needs to be held accountable for her actions not being handled and turning her head to a child that has special needs shame on her and her 2 helpers that were in that room when whatever happened that we still have no answers this is not where you want your child I promise you it's very disturbing and action needs to be taken in this center ! I don't care if director has been there 16 yrs she needs to be done like today .. parents please please listen to your child advocate for your child this is just another day in that peek program in this center and this will not be closed until the story is over and we're asking for director to resign for her actions that were not professional and she failed to communicate with family on why she ignored the entire issue and never reached out to family and allowed this child to neglect his services shame on her and her helper ( what they call teachers but are not) we will continue to advocate as we love this child so very much ..

My granddaughter attended this daycare and was dragged across the floor by one arm and slammed in a…read morechair. get this! my granddaughter was already seated in a chair waiting for breakfast. she was dragged from one chair across the room to another chair. My daughter mentioned the incident to the Director and even though it was on camera, nothing was done about it. Please please please trust your judgement as a parent, if your child becomes uneasy when dropping them off to a particular person. your child may not be able to speak but you know your child. Something is seriously wrong with this one particular employee. She should in no way ever be left to care for small defenseless children. to make matters worse- There were more than one employee in the room at the time of my granddaughter's incident which tells me it's accepted and common behavior.
