But over time, the pickups became rare, and the weekly walks were simply ignored. The situation quickly became a serious problem. When we called to ask what was going on, they assured us we were an "important client" and promised to make it right. They came out, "serviced" the waste containers, but then left a large bag of dog waste sitting on the sidewalk. When questioned, they claimed we needed to provide a dumpster--something they had never mentioned before in two years of service. Despite their words, their actions showed we were not a priority. Communication between their customer service team and the crews doing the actual work was non-existent. The promises never matched the service delivered. After continued frustration, we ended the contract. Shortly afterward, we received an email from them saying we could no longer be serviced. Frankly, with the poor quality of work throughout the contract, it feels like we never really were. Bottom line: Customer service is not their priority. Promises were empty, communication was broken, and the service consistently fell short. Never again.

At first I thought, is this some sort of scam? Maybe it's some kid that wants to earn extra money after school. I wound up contacting them to see what this was all about and just get an estimate. Background: I have two large dogs and the bain of my existence was picking up waste in my yard. Trying to mow my lawn or put out trash previously felt like trying to avoid land mines, especially after a good rain! Stephen got back to me right away, enthusiastically answering any questions I had and offering a poop pickup plan that costs less than Uber Eats, less than your medical co-pay and ions less than one trip to the gas pump. It might seem minuscule but this small service changed my life! I can walk out and enjoy my yard, plant my garden, and play with my dogs with fear of stepping in something and tracking it in the house. Now that Spring is here and the pests have returned, I no longer have an issue with bugs in my yard circling waste I might have missed. This service is everything and I'd highly encourage you give it a try. You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

We've been using Love Those Paws since 2015 to watch our cockatiels when we go on vacation. It is…read moremuch less expensive than boarding them at the vet and less stressful for the animals. The sitters vary but all are enthusiastic based on the reports they leave. After every visit the sitter leaves a note of when they came and left and what they did. They also usually text us an update and a picture of our birds. We come back to a stack of reports. The sitter stays a while after the food, water, and paper are changed to make sure the birds aren't acting weird, and I hear that some singing goes on. We've never had a problem and have be accommodated at very short notice when we want to go away for the weekend. I highly recommend this company. 1/27/20 Update: Just used them again during a ten day trip to Hawaii. I'm pretty sure our birds are in love with Alex, who came for most oF the visits. Now they are just stuck with us. As always, a great experience and we love being able to travel without any worries.

Despite me typing up a whole instruction sheet, he insisted on walking through again just to be sure (which is very reassuring). The actual pet sitting was spectacular. The pet sitter who was assigned was Kim. She spent plenty of time with the cats and made sure they were well cared for while I was away. The visit reports they leave are really cute as well. Could not have gone smoother! I'd also like to add that they were available with very short notice (3 other pet sitting companies were unable to handle our request). Also want to add that Stewart (when he came for the home visit) was wearing a mask and gloves to protect against COVID (a welcome sight). Pet owners would should have their minds at ease if they select Love Those Paws. If I go on vacation again (few and far between these days) I would definitely use them again!

Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

See how many people have reported their pet having diarrhea? The state should shut this business down. It's the worst dog boarder you could ever imagine. No "Country Club" here.
