You receive top quality care and do not have to sit in the waiting room for an hour to be seen for only a few minutes. I switched to this practice because I didn't want to be a number at a larger facility and I am so glad I did! The entire office staff knows you by name and I never waited more than 10 minutes at most for my appointment. What makes this practice stand out for me is that after your exam is complete, Dr. Evans brings you to his personal office to discuss your health or his findings. You never feel rushed and always leave fully informed on your overall checkups. Not sure if they are accepting new patients, but if they are definitely consider giving this practice a try. If you want the best care for yourself or family members then you need to look elsewhere..My dad…read morehas COPD and has had a prescription for Advair inhaler..this inhaler is very necessary for him to breathe properly..and not have to rely on oxygen..after being notified by the Pharmacy that the prescription had run out and was denied renewal I contacted the Drs office that morning to find out why..I was informed that I could call back after 3pm or contact the Pharmacy to find out if the prescription was being renewed..I called back around 3:30...the prescription had been denied..after I requested answers I was told that it would be reviewed and could expect a return call..the office closes at 5pm so after not getting any response from the office I called back at 4:45..I was treated very rudely and was told the prescription had been renewed and sent to the pharmacy...it makes me sad for the patients that don't question issues similar to what we experienced with this office..my Dad will be locating a different medical provider that will take time a treat him like he is no more than just a number!!

I am so glad I made the switch. Dr. Dorsey and the staff at Maplewood have been amazing. They truly care for their patients and all listen to our concerns. Everything is always explained in detail. I have been a patient at Maplewood for almost 20 years. Back in 2017, I went in for my annual…read morephysical. My PCP at the time was Dr. Lee. She was great, very thorough. As she was examining me, she asked me about my digestion. I told her about some issues I had been having and she got concerned. She sent me to a gastroenterologist. He recommended a colonoscopy. I ended up being diagnosed with stage 3b rectal cancer at the age of 39. If it had not been for Dr. Lee asking me about my digestion, I never would have brought it up. I credit her with saving my life. Several years ago, Dr. Lee left the practice, and I ended up randomly paired with Dr. Winborne for my next appointment. I am really glad that happened. Dr. Winborne takes the time to sit and listen to her patients. We had a few appointments together, and she said she would like to take over my care. I heartily agreed. Dr. Winborne understands my special needs as a rectal cancer survivor. She has a great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable.
