We noticed the seal broken, and it's been on the list of forever to try and figure out who made the windows (there is no branding on them). One of my friends, with a different brand of windows, actually just had her window with an issue replaced for free (she hadn't had them installed, the previous owner had). I ended up finding the label in the window frame that had information. I called, and was told that I had to pay a $50 fee within 30 days of buying the house (which was in 2015) to be able to assume the lifetime warranty of the windows. They consider this to be a service fee. Additionally, the warranty is ONLY the parts, per their terms and conditions. They charge an additional fee for installation. So Ideal Window Manufacturing refuses to replace windows with a lifetime warranty, charges a fee to have the warranty enforced, and charges a fee if you sell the house for someone to actually obtain the warranty that's already guaranteed with the windows? Please reach out if you are facing similar issues, I am working on putting together a class action lawsuit.

Tri-State has an insurance policy whereby if a golf ball causes damage to these windows, they will repair or replace them at no cost to the consumer. Aaron came to our house and sold us on Window World of Northern NJ. We signed a contract with Aaron and Window World and gave them half the payment. Aaron eased all our fears and assured us of their work. He explained that in 6-8 weeks we would be scheduled for our install. It has now been over 8 weeks and we are not even scheduled for an install. Aaron proceeded to take our check and we have not heard from him since, even after countless phone calls and texts. In fact we had to call Window World to schedule a measurement, they did not call us. We have now been calling for multiple weeks only to continue to reach an answering service and to never have a phone call returned. The one time we were able to speak to an actual representative our call was transferred to Patrick. We were told Patrick was the manager and he would help us. Instead of helping us, or apologizing and easing our fears about lack of communication and customer service, Patrick continued to try to talk over us and explain that the company did not operate by returning phone calls to customers and that we were not a priority. We were told not to call back, they would call us when the product was ready and they would install. Since that phone call there has been no communication from Window World about when our install will be scheduled or if our product has even arrived. We have since started the process of trying to contact the company again, but alas, we are greeted by the same answering service that tells us they will take a message and someone will return our call. This is our first home, and as first time home owners we are very careful and thorough with any decisions about our home (especially ones carrying a price tag over $10K). By choosing Window World we thought we were going with a company that would back their work and have great customer service. At this point not only are we concerned with the customer service, but also with the work. Thanks to Patrick we understand that we are "not a priority" and if something should go wrong with any of the product that they install on the house we can expect to not get a return phone call and have to chase them down the resolve any issues. At this point we would rather have our money back than run the risk of there being any issues with the install or the product down the line and while we wait for Window World to get around to us and resolve things , damage being done to our home. Thank you Patrick and Aaron for your dedication and commitment to what it is you do. You really let your customers feel how passionate you are about your work. And to think a simple return phone call could have put our minds at ease.

For the millwork I purchased interior doors, mouldings, wainscot, fiberglass columns, and exterior, Azek and fir for facia, soffit material etc.. Once the framing was complete, Mike came out to the house before the quote to measure everything and make sure the 2 dozen doors had the correct opening orientation and size. We went over many molding profiles and door styles. The price was very competitive and it was an easy decision. Once we got started, Mike was always quick to respond and when I needed a few add on pieces the truck was there for delivery to keep my schedule on track. I wish all of my suppliers were as good! Dante came by and gave me a verbal outline of what he would do to better the thermo-control, ambient noise and air quality (as my windows were not sealed and there was increasingly poor air qauliity which was also effecting my asthma) of my home. He was obviously well informed as he works with our commercial building and is recommeded, he was knwledgable about his product, assembly and timeline: no bullshit. I was extremely appreciative. I had previous "window and door specialist" that looked completely inefficient with multiple trips which was a logistical nightmare with work and my building and nothing was improved and money was spent. I highly recommend Dante's company. He was in and out in 6 hours wihtout a mess and a beautiful, essentially sound proof, thermo controlled door that is high quality. Not the end of the world. I show them a all the windows that need to be done. They said that is more than what I told them on the phone by 2, and they can't do it. Also, the deal the person in the store said was possible will no longer be honored. I say ok to the price, and ask if they can just do three windows (less than half the initial workload). Nope, they won't do that either. How about just two windows. Nope to that. The entire time they kept blaming the guy in the store "I can't do anything about the price, there is a guy in the store sitting there with a calculator. Not my job". Okay well I made an appointment for today, Can you at least do some work. "Nope we can't we are done at 4pm, he won't let us work later" well this was at 2:30. I called the guy at the store front who was very nice as always, he said he could do nothing about the guys, and he sympathizes with me. The guy in charge sat in the van outside sending his worker back and forth to the house to talk to me, the whole thing was very odd. They took all my storm windows and screens out, left the windows wide open upstairs, moved my furniture and rugs and just left everything a mess. Very disappointed. I made an appointment for window repair, not to get a quote and have the job of putting my windows back together. Once again, not a review for the storefront. I have used them multiple times over the years for doors and shelves, but the people they sent to fix my windows today were terrible.
