A fishing bait shop, convenience store and Mexican restaurant all-in-one.

A very interesting place. You can buy worms or you can buy great tacos. A local told us that this was a nation wide famous place. I could believe that it is. The store itself is pretty dingy, there were a couple flies but I didn't see any going into the food. The ladies there are making authentic Mexican food, although they are using a microwave to warm some things up. It's off the beaten track and it will take 15 minutes to get there from the closest winery. But it's worth it if you have the time.

No. It's bad. You could pick any taco truck in Seattle and it'll be 1000% better. The tortillas were hard (see photo). The chicken was so bland. The beef was just as boring. The abadaba tasted like spicy deer turds (inedible).

This is definitely a little hole in the wall place with a mini-mart and diner all in one. Authentic Mexican food and it is fresh, local and delicious. It has it's local charms and many newspaper articles about the place hanging on the wall. There are two locations, one in Walla Walla and one in College Place. We went to the one in College Place and I had the enchiladas while the wife had the veggie tacos. Excellent choices and everything is fresh made. It is not the "best" I've personally had, however my wife lived in Mexico during college and I was raised on "home cooked" Mexican food. It's worth finding and trying!! And who doesn't love a good bait shop and worm ranch.

Favorite veggie burritos of all time....and trust me...I've eaten a lot of burritos in my life. Amazing, local favorite eatery.

Cool little place with delicious food. I used to come here all the time as a kid before fishing trips. Bring on the nostalgia!

Authentic tacos, can't get any better than this. Watch out for that hot sauce, it's no joke! The Horchata helps with the heat :)

We had tacos de asada. They were good. And the staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Not as economical as a taco truck, though.

A…read moregrocery store built on the premise of healthy options now sells mostly main stream junk food products from the mega corporation Pepsico which uses very manipulative advertising and false claims. Their cereal is mostly sugar based, same effect on the brain as cocaine and proven to cause brain rot. There are few to no organic options I buy such as hummus, cereal, chips, non sweetened fruit, bread, unprocessed protein options, and milk. Personally I don't like being "served", I think required politeness and civility hurts workers by emotionally enslaving them and isn't authentic to the history of the products, how they are made, and what they really are. Instead of processing the history of products they are selling empty emotional transactional "vibes" essentially trying to emotionally own the transaction. Payment shouldn't be a value The bulk food section is an option with a wide selection though not as many organic options as I'd prefer. The vitamin selection is adequate though I'd prefer to buy medicinal tinctures in larger quantities than available. The vegetarian processed food is too expensive to buy on a budget, non organic, and have way too much oil and salt in them. Most of the brands sold are lecherous and emotionally manipulative. I know they are trying to process their "biblical" beliefs but "killer" bread, "love" cereal, "gold" milk, "Morningstar" vege food, is just garbage.

Open on Christmas day--that's handy (even if it sucks for the employees)…read more I had to make (count 'em) *three* trips here on Christmas day due to poor planning and an unforseen issue arising. They were open each time (from 8am to 5pm, for the record). They had a wide selection of things, including some relatively unusual items (believe it or not, they were: peanut oil (first trip); Martinelli's (including some flavors I had never seen) (second trip); non-iodized sea salt (without calcium cilcate or any other additive (really hard to find)) and a shot glass (third trip)). They were the only grocery store open in the Walla Walla Valley today (not Andy's, not Safeway, not Super 1, not Wal-Mart), and it appeared as if it was a good business move inasmuch as the parking lot was full each of the three times I was there (as also were the checkout lines). Thanks, Albertson's for saving my day (three times)!

The reason? An employee told me the buttons take a 3 volt battery that they don't carry any more and have to order, get this, from Amazon. So bring a fog horn with you to cause a commotion. In the past, they would just post a sticky note saying out of order. This happened all the time. Now they have removed them altogether. Because this store is turning into a Safeway, I'm wondering if this will be a policy of all Safeways here? I will personally take $10/hour to stand there for 8 hours a day, M-F, to assist customers. And I'm friendly!
