Chipotle burrito

These burritos were hefty! And the chipotle burrito was full of saucy chicken and a heaping of onions! The staff were so incredibly kind! Loved the self serve salsa bar

Salsa Police. Was I being profiled?

Skip this place and head straight to La Monarca. The food is out of this world and the service is warm and friendly You will THANK me!!

Delicious Mexican Favorites @ Taqueria Yungapeti in Walla Walla, WA. !! Returning customers to this great Mexican Restaurant. It was festive, clean, and busy on a Friday night. Artistry throughout was spectacular, I especially loved the realistic illustrations on the tables and chairs. Service was pleasant. They took our order right away, read it back, gave us our drink cups, chips, and rang us up. We filled the cups up at the fountain drink station, then made our way to the salsa bar, and grabbed a booth. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was generous in portion, hot, and fresh! We devoured as much as we could. We also enjoyed the spicy green sauce they had on hand. Thanks for a great meal!

Asada Taco's

This is some of the best food I've had I a while! Everything was perfect. The service was incredible. They have some of the best and smoothest Horchata I've ever had. It's the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat, and the inside is very well kept. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Walla Walla Asada Tacos--not on the menu. You have to ask for it.

ONE OF THE BEST IN WALLA WALLA! Since moving to Walla Walla recently, I've heard nothing but raving reviews from people end to end in this town so I just had to give this place a try. Lots of times people tend to make an entire judgement on a place based off of ONE item that they didn't like during ONE visit. Problem is... restaurants could very well be AMAZING and the person likely just probably ordered something that isn't the best item on the menu. To help avoid this and before writing this review, I tried different items during a several different visits to base my opinion. ***If you want a quick recommendation, try their Walla Walla Tacos WITH asada (beef) or Walla Walla Tacos WITH pollo (chicken). This is not on the menu but just ask for the WW tacos with either of your choice of meat and you will not be disappointed. The added grilled onions and cheese adds WAY more flavor and juicy-ness! Their "soft" chicken tacos (which is with flour tortillas as opposed to corn tortillas) is also very good and bigger than the regular tacos. I also recommend their asada gorditas. THEY ARE AMAZING! The portion size of their side orders of rice and beans are also really good here. The rest of this review compares this place to the same dishes at La Monarca (a taco truck on Rose & 11th) and Bomb Tacos (halfway to Milton-Freewater). IMO, the asada and pollo tacos from Bomb Tacos were definitely better than both this place and La Monarca HOWEVER, they use a smaller tortilla and thus, their tacos are smaller. La Monarca's portion size of a side of rice and beans is the biggest out of the three places--it's enough to share with another person. If I had to choose where to go for tacos, I would choose the Walla Walla Asada or Walla Walla Pollo tacos from La Monarca. Bomb Tacos are better but smaller and, with the extra drive needed, it isn't THAT much better to make the extra drive worth it. La Monarca's WW asada and pollo tacos seem to be tastier and juicier. Having tried the asada gorditas from both Taqueria and La Monarca, the choice isn't as easy to make. Taq's is twice the size as La Monarca's and is how most gorditas are--basically like a little sandwich. La Monarca's is smaller and has a more outer fried shell. Despite getting more bang for your buck here at Taq, I really liked the flavor of La Monarca's better. Overall, the Taqueria is a must try if you're in the area but in my opinion, the flavor might be a little on the bland side as other reviews have mentioned.
