More than just a library, the Duluth Library was a night of memoir engagement for me and I am so happy that I went and was able to be present. I often wonder if anyone goes to the library still and let me tell you, folks definitely go to the Peachtree Corners branch of the Gwinnett Public Library system. In the middle of the afternoon, there were people of all different ages, studying, reading, working, and playing. I had no problem with noise and plopped down at a desk towards the back of the library. Free Wi-Fi but no electrical outlet for me to plug in. Luckily my MacBook, with its screwed-up, old battery still holds a charge better than any PC laptop I ever owned before. Mostly I was writing out equations on paper, so I was good to go with the juice in my computer. The library was a comfortable temperature, probably warmer than most commercial places, which was awesome for me. Strangely, there was a woman wrapped up in a thick blanket.
