Parking is always smooth and I love that it is covered. This location by far has one of the best views. There is nothing like doing your work in front of the large window at the peaceful fountain. You can even check out your book and enjoy it on the grassy area less than 20 feet away. The space is decent for allowing for different groups to have their own area. When I have a question while there about a book or hold I can always get prompt and good feedback. Now here are a few things that need work. I understand that the kids area appears to be open so when there are activities going on it can be loud to the others trying to read and work. I wish they had a door to reduce the sound. Which brings me to the next one which is noise. I'm not sure when libraries became so loud but it is quite literally why I go there to work for a quiet experience. Between the workers having conversations at the front with security or each other it can be so loud for me on Saturday's. This recent visit there was a kids event, people loudly talking on their phone and workers laughing/chatting simultaneously. I eventually left cause I could even hear it over my AirPods. I know I can book a room but I fear the experience would still be the same. I think I'm going to check out a couple other locations to see if this is equally an issue at other locations to be fair but this noise level is a real turn off. Would I return? Yes because the good outweighs the bad but I may have to alternate locations.

Very clean, well-maintained and books always kept in order, this has become my go-to library for quick checkouts, although I live much closer to the Alpharetta location. (Alpharetta library can get understaffed that's why :) ) Parking lot is huge with plenty of benches and wheelchair accessible spots. You gotta take a picture with the horsey if you're visiting this library!

You can go online and after finding your selection, place a hold and you'll receive an email once it's available. Books are usually held for five days giving you time to pick it up. Though there have been times when I couldn't make it so I called and the staff was helpful in allowing me more time. There is also a self check out. This system is wonderful. After checking out your books you can choose to have a receipt printed with the due date or have one emailed to you.

I actually volunteered here during high school, back in the day. The volunteer coordinator took me to the back where there are many offices. This campus is the main campus for administration for all public libraries. Kinda cool little fact most people may never know.That being said, they have a pretty awesome volunteer program! Or they did back in the day at least ;). Cool magazine room that stays quiet. Library in general is always quiet (as it should be ;)) Lots of kids always, but it's not too bad. Good lighting. Wifi usually works if needed. Has all the books you'll possibly need, or you can have them reserve the book you need to pick up on the gwinnett public library website. I think they have book clubs, puppet shows, and stuff like that. I usually at this point only go on the website, have books on hold for me, and go pick them up. It's super convenient! I handled my biz and was through the library detectors. (Clean bathroom with sufficient toilet paper, soap, and paper towel, by the way.) The day was perfect. Slightly cloudy with very mild temperatures. This led me to mistakenly assume there would be few people in the library. I often wonder if anyone goes to the library still and let me tell you, folks definitely go to the Peachtree Corners branch of the Gwinnett Public Library system. In the middle of the afternoon, there were people of all different ages, studying, reading, working, and playing. I had no problem with noise and plopped down at a desk towards the back of the library. Free Wi-Fi but no electrical outlet for me to plug in. Luckily my MacBook, with its screwed-up, old battery still holds a charge better than any PC laptop I ever owned before. Mostly I was writing out equations on paper, so I was good to go with the juice in my computer. The library was a comfortable temperature, probably warmer than most commercial places, which was awesome for me. Strangely, there was a woman wrapped up in a thick blanket. Not sure what that was all about. I took a picture to send to my family group chat, but I won't post it here, haha. I saw a decent collection of books as I peered around right before leaving.
