I took the 1hr 49min ride to the Duluth Library to experience the engagement with Raymond Santana. Detailed as, "Join Raymond Santana, one of the Central Park Five, as he discusses his young adult illustrated memoir, "Pushing Hope," which reflects on his wrongful conviction and tireless fight for his 2002 exoneration." I was excited to be in the room. The Duluth Library was the perfect place to have this event. The space was huge. The sound system was perfect and went throughout the entire room and the way the room was set up was ideal for the audience to focus and be able to feel the emotions expressed with each word. More than just a library, the Duluth Library was a night of memoir engagement for me and I am so happy that I went and was able to be present. Overall, the Duluth Library is humungus, super clean, and is easy to navigate when looking for books. The staff was super friendly and greeted me upon walking in with smiles on their faces. If you're in the area and ready to engage with all the Duluth Library has to offer. Make sure to stop in and check out all you've been missing.

Plenty of outlets and USB ports. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and professional. Plenty of Mac Monitors to choose from. The selection of books are solid. Last, they have book club and author programs all the time that are well done and as someone mentioned you don't have to live in Gwinnett County to attend these programs. This is a great branch and I can't recommend it enough. During different times, the branch has kiosks that give out free COVID or flu testing kits. Over the past several visits, I have noticed that the multiple computers are either out of service or functioning intermittently, and the printers frequently experience errors or downtown, and the computer monitor, mouse and keyboards are covered with food, hair, dirt, crumbs, and other unclean things, which makes it difficult for patrons to complete essential tasks such as sanitation, printing important documents, conducting research or applying for jobs. Please keep the public library clean, and the maintained. This is very concerning.

I come here all the time to tutor high school and college students. It has a bunch of study rooms…read morethat you can reserve for free. They're clean, quiet, and spacious. It's often hard to get a reservation since they're usually booked up, but it still is really great when I get one. If I can't, then there is a larger room which doesn't require reservations, where people can still meet and talk -- however, since we're all in there together it's often louder and with small children. But it can still work. Also the rest of the library has a number of chairs and tables where one can work quietly, and again it's quite nice, spacious, bright, clean. So this is a great library to get work done or spend some time reading. I don't have a lot of experience with the book selection or ordering books, although I did go looking for a bunch of pre-calculus textbooks once and they had a nice large selection already on the shelves. The staff is always pleasant and tries to keep the line at the front desk moving, so I appreciate their work and professionalism! Located in a lovely neighborhood with not much traffic, there are many pretty houses to gaze at during the drive :) Although smaller compared to it's sister branches, the really helpful staff have done their best to keep it organized. Very clean, well-maintained and books always kept in order, this has become my go-to library for quick checkouts, although I live much closer to the Alpharetta location. (Alpharetta library can get understaffed that's why :) ) Parking lot is huge with plenty of benches and wheelchair accessible spots. You gotta take a picture with the horsey if you're visiting this library!

I handled my biz and was through the library detectors. (Clean bathroom with sufficient toilet paper, soap, and paper towel, by the way.) The day was perfect. Slightly cloudy with very mild temperatures. This led me to mistakenly assume there would be few people in the library. I often wonder if anyone goes to the library still and let me tell you, folks definitely go to the Peachtree Corners branch of the Gwinnett Public Library system. In the middle of the afternoon, there were people of all different ages, studying, reading, working, and playing. I had no problem with noise and plopped down at a desk towards the back of the library. Free Wi-Fi but no electrical outlet for me to plug in. Luckily my MacBook, with its screwed-up, old battery still holds a charge better than any PC laptop I ever owned before. Mostly I was writing out equations on paper, so I was good to go with the juice in my computer. The library was a comfortable temperature, probably warmer than most commercial places, which was awesome for me. Strangely, there was a woman wrapped up in a thick blanket. Not sure what that was all about. I took a picture to send to my family group chat, but I won't post it here, haha. I saw a decent collection of books as I peered around right before leaving. I'm not a Gwinnett county resident but I'm trying to bribe my sister into sharing her library card with me! I mean, Asians all look the same, right? Terrible joke... Seriously, this library is SO nice…read more It's brand new, and clean, and bright, and nice!! I am so excited this is within 10 minutes from me. It has a huge kid's section, complete with books, DVD, TABLETS (for kids to play on), audio books, and lounging areas. It has several rooms, and even offers free classes like beginner photography (how cool is that?!). Only time will tell how this library will hold up, but I can't wait to be a regular visitor!
