It is a short walk from South Station and Rowe's Wharf and surrounded by excellent restaurants. Members have access to the space 24 hours per day, which makes it very easy to work after hours or weekends, if needed. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're in a high-end office space. You're immediately greeted by the wonderful staff and they will help you with anything that you need. The space itself has a beautiful open floor plan with modern furniture and fixtures throughout the conference rooms, offices, library and patio. The layout is simple to maneuver around and you are steps away from anything you need. The conference rooms are perfect for meetings or to take a private call. Each conference room has a TV that you can easily connect to for displaying your presentations with various options to connect to your specific computer device. There is a fantastic outdoor patio where you can work, take a call or just enjoy a drink after a long day with a beautiful water views. The daily breakfast is also a team favorite. WeWork proved to our firm that we can function in a collaborative work space with a lot less square footage. The move to Industrious was based on location and a few extra perks. Although not a tenant we utilized that WeWork constantly and I feel qualified to compare them to Industrious. Industrious' Seaport space if perfectly located a brief walk from South Station, surrounded by numerous great restaurants and historic and cultural venues such as The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Children's Museum and Fan Pier to name a few. With respect to amenities, layout, staff and service, without a question, Industrious blows WeWork away. The Seaport space is an entire floor with breathtaking views of downtown and the seaport. The offices are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and it's so easy to navigate around to common areas, facilities and offices alike that I didn't find at WeWork. Without a doubt, the biggest difference is Industrious' staff and service. Having graduated from Cornell's School of Hotel Administration and spent 7 years at the Mobile 5 Star Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan, I believe I know what exceptional service is and you'll find here. The community staff of Annie and Jordyn couldn't be nicer. The first day on the job I walked into to huge smiles and welcomes. It was like I was walking into an office I had worked in for years. Within minutes, I had a tour, breakfast, and welcome kit with goodies and situated. Any and everything I needed was executed in minutes from configuring all my devices to Wi-Fi via MAC address, installing printers to restaurant recommendations. Situated in a store front on Bow Street, the Green Room is a welcome performance space in the neighborhood. Definitely join their mailing list to stay abreast of visiting performers and take in a show prior to dinner and drinks in Union Square. There is no food or drink available in this room, so plan ahead.
