UPDATE: AI enshittification is ruining things I loved about this place. Its not just this place…read more Ever since the AI craze, basic technologies are becoming worse. Appointment reminders dont work properly and I dont blame this on the Staff. Maybe they use a Microsoft computer or an Oracle system, maybe they have an AI app, who knows? The front office can prove with screenshots that they sent messages and reminders. While it shows on their end the message was recieved, I get absolutely nothing. I think this is a malicious intention by Tech Companies. They are handicapping services, generating a lot of complaints and then Business Owners are going to be convinced by the Tech Companies it was the 'human element' that was the problem. Dont worry, the Tech Bros have the solution: Fire the Front Office Workers and replace them with an AI system. Honestly, the front office should use Carrier Pigeons. This place is awesome! I have been here twice and have had fantastic experiences so far. Dr. Amy is my dentist and I have had help with assistants, Tiffany and Ryan (I hope that was his name) and Liz at the front desk. Everyone is super friendly and professional and that makes me very relaxed. No anxiety about the dentist but excitement for me. These people are punctual and caring. Avoided the dentist for fear of bad news or just being embarrassed. My first experience with this team was so nurturing and compassionate. What a shame that I didn't know about these guys sooner. Juan is really cool. He's got a great sense of humor and he's great at his job

Smile Craft - Recent Experience…read more I recently scheduled a deep cleaning at Smile Craft after seeing a referral gift card promotion through Opencare. The office is modern, clean, and well-equipped. From a clinical standpoint, everything feels up to date and aligned with quality standards. Before my appointment, the Opencare team was very diligent about sending reminders and follow-up texts, which I appreciated. It helped with scheduling and preparation. During my visit, I was assisted by Juan, the dental assistant, who was kind, attentive, and thoughtful in his care. Dr. Gok was equally professional and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the deep cleaning. Clinically, the experience was positive and left a strong impression. Before leaving, I requested Juan and Dr. Gok for my next cleaning and was flexible with scheduling pending insurance approval for future treatment. The challenge began after I left the office. When I uploaded my receipt to Opencare for the gift card referral, I experienced ongoing pushback from their support team for over a week. I understand that support teams handle a high volume of cases, but the communication lacked clarity around how to resolve the issue. It appears there may have been a clerical error at the front desk regarding documentation tied to my appointment, which may affected my eligibility for the promotion. What was most frustrating was the lack of coordination. At one point, I was informed my case had been transferred to another agent and that my appointment appeared canceled -- as though I had not attended my deep cleaning. This was concerning and required additional effort on my part to correct. For something that should have been straightforward, the process felt unnecessarily complicated. Additionally, my interaction at the front desk felt impersonal. I did not receive much guidance about next steps with Opencare, and basic information -- such as the Opencare support email -- was not readily available. A brief explanation at checkout about how to properly submit documentation for the gift card would likely prevent similar issues for future patients. To be clear, my clinical experience with Juan and Dr. Gok was excellent. The concern lies with administrative follow-through and communication between Smile Craft and Opencare. As a patient, I value transparency and coordination, especially when promotions are involved. If I could offer feedback, it would be: * Ensure front desk staff clearly communicate post-visit steps for third-party promotions * Double-check documentation before patients leave * Strengthen coordination with Opencare to prevent eligibility disputes Front desk alignment is critical because it sets the tone for the entire patient journey. While the clinical team delivered a 5-star experience, the administrative follow-through did not match that standard. The receptionist interaction felt cold and impersonal -- minimal eye contact, no warm greeting or closing, and little guidance on next steps regarding the promotion. It felt transactional rather than relationship-based. When a practice invests in high-quality care and environment, the front desk experience should reflect that same level of professionalism and warmth. Administrative clarity and patient education around third-party promotions would significantly improve the overall experience. I'm returning because I trust the clinical team. I just hope the front-end experience aligns with the excellent dental care moving forward. I'm scheduled for a follow-up in August and hope the administrative process is smoother moving forward. The dental care itself gives me confidence -- I just hope the front-end experience aligns with the same standards.

She was well-mannered, professional, thoughtful and patient, answering all of my nervous questions and just did everything right. Compliments to Susy F the Treatment Coordinator again as well, for her professionalism, being on top of everything and kindness and patience in continuing to answer my remaining questions since I still have 2 smaller procedures left to do. Everyone at Dr. Field's office exemplifies Concierge Dentristry. Think of regular commercial airlines as being the usual dentist's office - and Dr. Field's office being the latest Gulf Stream G700 private long range jet. And Dr. Field is THE BEST. What he did with my mouth is nothing short of a total transformation, health wise for my mouth , bite wise and appearance wise. My new smile (26 teeth - 12 uppers and 14 lowers) is getting praises from everyone for looking so natural and pretty! Which of course makes me smile all the time now:)

I hesitate to write this since I want to be able to get in to see him in the future but he and the staff are so deserving. If you're one who has dread or anxiety visiting dentists, he's your guy. You'll be writing the next 5 star review. All the staff are competent and pleasant to deal with.

I've been a patient of Dr. Morad and Dr. Shifteh over a number of years and have complete trust in their care. They both possess impressive knowledge and excellent skills, use top-notch technology and materials, approach their work with integrity, and are genuinely kind and caring humans. If you need any cosmetic work done, Dr. Morad and Dr. Shifteh shapeshift into artists and work wonders to make your smile look as perfect as can be. I recently traveled back to the Bay Area just to see Dr. Shifteh -- because I don't trust anyone except her and Dr. Morad with visible dental treatments! The rest of the team at this office -- hygienists, assistants, financial coordinator, front desk staff -- are also competent and kind. They hire the best folks here. Having been to many dentists over the years, I can say that this is a rare dental practice that I can totally trust when it comes to quality, safety, honesty, and all aspects of their care.
